上記の目的を達成するため、請求項1における発明は、リング状パッキン本体の外周面に一定の空隙部を設けた2本のリップ部を形成し、この両リップ部の一端から内径方向に向かって外拡がりのテーパ面を形成したパッキンである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明におけるパッキンとこれを組込んだ管継手の実施形態を図面に従って具体的に説明する。
図1及び図2において、1はリング状のパッキン本体で、このパッキン本体1の両側に内径に沿って外拡がり状のテーパ面2,3を形成して、断面台形部4にする。更に、この断面台形部4の外周面に2個のリップ部5,5を環状に突出形成し、このリップ部5,5の間に空隙部6を設ける。
