Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a water stop packing to be attached to a ventilation port cover in order to stop the flow of moisture such as condensed water generated in a ventilation duct, and a ventilation port cover including the water stop packing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
If moisture such as dew condensation water exists in the ventilation ducts piped in the building, for example, in cold districts or in winter, condensation that has flowed between the duct and the insertion tube of the vent cover that is inserted into the duct. As the water freezes and expands, the ventilation cover is lifted from the outer wall decorative material of the building, and the dew condensation that flows into the gap between the building frame and the outer wall decorative material freezes and expands, making the outer wall makeup There are many examples of problems such as damage to materials.
[0003]
Therefore, in order to prevent the flow of moisture, which is the source of such problems, that is, the flow of moisture from the vent cover to the vent side, the outer peripheral surface of the insertion tube of the vent cover is made of soft vinyl chloride having rubber elasticity. A waterproof seal made of a resin material is attached.
[0004]
A conventional example of the construction state of the vent cover with such a water stop packing is shown in FIGS. The ventilation port cover 1 includes a round hood portion 2 and a cylindrical insertion tube 3. The insertion tube 3 is a duct that communicates with a ventilation port 5 of a building housing 4 as shown in the figure. 6 is interpolated. Reference numeral 7 is an outer wall decorative material and constitutes a finished surface of the casing 4. A small-diameter mounting recess 3a is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion tube 3 over the entire circumference thereof, and an endless ring-shaped water-stopping packing 8 that prevents the water droplets W from flowing into the ventilation port 5 side. Is installed.
[0005]
The water-stopping packing 8 is an indispensable mounting condition that the mounting recess 3 a is formed in the plug-in cylinder 3. That is, if the water stop packing 8 is simply attached without forming the mounting recess 3 a in the plug cylinder 3, the water stop rib 9 of the water stop gasket 8 is inserted when the plug cylinder 3 is inserted into the duct 6. Is caught by the sliding resistance with the inner peripheral surface 6a of the duct 6, and the mounting position shifts toward the hood portion 2. On the other hand, when the ventilation port cover 1 is removed for cleaning, maintenance, replacement, etc., on the other hand, the water stop packing 8 is caught by the sliding resistance with the inner peripheral surface 6a of the duct 6 and the insertion tube 3 is removed. This is because there is an inconvenience that it is removed from the duct 6 and left in the duct 6.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the above-mentioned inconvenience is solved by forming the mounting recess 3a in the plug-in cylinder 3 and mounting the water-stopping packing 8 there, another problem can occur as follows. That is, one of the problems is that it is necessary to prepare a dedicated product in which a mounting recess is formed in advance in the insertion tube for each type of ventilation port cover. However, even if it is the same kind of ventilation port cover, it is necessary to prepare two types for each caliber of the plug-in cylinder, that is, a dedicated product having the water stop packing 8 and a standard product without the water stop packing 8. For this reason, manufacturing is complicated and it is difficult to look ahead for orders for dedicated products, which is almost impractical for the manufacturer.
[0007]
Another problem is that the water stop packing 8 can not be installed afterwards for the existing vent cover that does not have a mounting recess in the insertion tube. A new vent cover with 8 has to be purchased, which is unsatisfactory from the user's point of view.
[0008]
The present invention has been made against the background of the prior art as described above, and its purpose is to provide a water-stopping packing that can be installed even if the insertion tube of the ventilation port cover has no mounting recess, and a ventilation port equipped with the same To provide a cover.
[0009]
Another object of the present invention is to provide a water-stop packing that does not cause a shift in the mounting position even if the insertion tube of the ventilation port cover is inserted into and removed from the duct, and a ventilation port cover including the same. .
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve such an object, the present invention relates to a water stop packing for a vent cover that is attached to a plug that is inserted into a duct from a vent of a building. An inner ring portion to be coated, an outer ring portion that covers an outer peripheral surface of the tube end side of the plug-in cylinder and that is provided with an annular water-stopping rib that elastically contacts the inner peripheral surface of the duct; A mounting recess that can be mounted by inserting the tube end side of the insertion tube between the outer ring portion and the outer ring portion is formed.
[0011]
The water-stop packing of the present invention is attached to the insertion tube in such a manner that the inner ring portion and the outer ring portion wrap around the tube end side of the insertion tube inserted into the attachment recess. Therefore, according to this water stop packing, even if there is no mounting recess for mounting the water stop packing on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion tube as in the conventional vent cover, the tube end of the insertion tube is inserted into the mounting recess. The mounting position of the water stop packing does not shift even when the insertion tube is inserted into the duct.
[0012]
In addition to being able to be mounted in this manner, the water-stopping packing of the present invention further ducts the insertion tube of the vent cover to the bending recess of the insertion tube formed at the tube end in the mounting recess. An engagement receiving portion that is hooked in the removal direction to be removed from is provided.
[0013]
Therefore, when the insertion tube of the vent cover is removed from the duct, the bent end is locked in the removal direction with respect to the lock receiving portion, so that the water-stopping packing is removed from the insertion tube and left in the duct. It is possible to avoid the inconvenience caused by
[0014]
Further, for the water-stopping packing of the present invention, the bent end portion of the insertion tube is formed as an inwardly curved portion or a folded portion that is folded back inwardly, and as the latch receiving portion of the inner ring portion, At least one of a contact surface that locks in the extraction direction with the curved portion or a contact surface that locks in the extraction direction with the folded portion can be provided.
[0015]
The insertion tube of the ventilation port cover is usually formed with an inwardly bent end toward the tube axis of the insertion tube so as not to be injured such as cutting a finger at the tube end. Two more specific shapes of the bent end are known. One of them is a shape often seen especially in an aluminum insertion tube, in which a bent end portion is formed as a curved portion that draws a gentle arc inward. The other is a shape often seen in a stainless steel insertion tube, and is formed as a folded portion where the bent end portion is folded inward. The water-stop packing of the present invention is either a contact surface that locks in the extraction direction with the curved portion or a contact surface that locks in the extraction direction with the folded portion as the lock receiving portion of the inner ring portion. Is provided. Therefore, according to these water stop packings, it is possible to avoid the problem of leaving the insertion tube in the duct when the insertion tube is removed from the duct according to the specific shape of each tube end. Further, the water-stop packing of the present invention is one in which both of the two abutting surfaces are provided as the locking receiving portion of the inner ring portion. Therefore, it can be mounted regardless of the specific shape of the bent end (whether it is a bent portion or a folded portion), and the removal direction with respect to any contact surface (lock receiving portion) Since it can be locked with, the problem of leaving the water-stopping packing in the duct can be avoided.
[0016]
Furthermore, the water-stopping packing of the present invention can be configured such that the outer ring portion is formed of a resin material having rubber elasticity, and the inner ring portion is formed of a resin material having higher hardness than the outer ring portion. For this reason, while providing the rubber elasticity necessary for water-stopping that is exerted on the water-stopping rib of the outer ring portion by flexibly following and deforming against the inner peripheral surface of the duct, the rigidity made of a harder resin material The inner ring portion (which does not have such flexibility) can be easily attached and difficult to come off. Further, when the ventilation port cover is removed from the duct, the locking receiving portion (contact surface) of the inner ring portion firmly receives the locking by the bent end portion. Therefore, with this water-stopping packing, it can be more reliably removed from the duct together with the insertion tube while being attached to the insertion tube.
[0017]
Moreover, since the water stop packing of this invention can be comprised as what formed the outer ring part and the inner ring part integrally as a two-color molded object or a double molded object, it can be manufactured easily by a single molding process.
[0018]
And in order to achieve the said objective, this invention provides the ventilation port cover which attached the water stop packing by the said any one of this invention to the cylinder end of the insertion cylinder inserted in a duct from the ventilation port of a building. To do. For this reason, a high added-value ventilation opening cover provided with the water stop packing which has the above various advantages is obtained.
[0019]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a water stop packing and a vent cover according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In addition, about the structure similar to a prior art, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected and duplication description is abbreviate | omitted.
[0020]
The water stop packing 10 of this embodiment is attached to the tube end of the insertion tube 12 of the ventilation port cover 11 shown in FIG. Here, the configuration of the vent cover 11 will be briefly described. The vent cover 11 is provided with a hood portion 13 and a back cover portion 14 which are screwed to each other. Are welded. The hood portion 13 has a vertical beam 13a extending along the vertical direction, an inclined beam 13b extending obliquely upward from the vertical beam 13a, and a blade piece 13c for rectifying the airflow bent in the inclined beam 13b. As a structure is formed so that raindrops are formed so that raindrops adhering to the inclined bars 13b of the hood part 13 are concentrated and poured into the vertical bars 13a and can be stored in the water storage part 13d formed at the bottom. Further, it is possible to reduce the amount of raindrops downward from the hood portion 13. The ventilation port cover 11 having such a configuration is a standard product in which the plug-in cylinder 12 does not have a special portion for attaching the water stop packing.
[0021]
Returning to the original, the water-stop packing 10 of the present embodiment is formed as an endless ring shape that matches the cylindrical shape of the insertion tube 12 (see FIGS. 1 and 2), and as shown in an enlarged manner in FIG. An outer ring portion 15 that covers the outer peripheral surface 12a on the tube end side of the insertion tube 12 and an inner ring portion 16 that covers the inner peripheral surface 12b on the tube end side are formed. The waterstop packing 10 having the outer ring portion 15 and the inner ring portion 16 is a molded body obtained by double molding of soft vinyl chloride resin having different hardness, and the outer ring portion 15 is a duct with the joining line 17 as a boundary. The inner ring portion 16 is higher in hardness than the outer ring portion 15, and has a hardness having rubber elasticity necessary for water-stopping that is exhibited by flexibly following and deforming the inner peripheral surface 6 a of 6. The water-stopping packing 10 has a hardness that makes it easy to attach and difficult to remove. Specifically, the outer ring portion 15 is made of a soft vinyl chloride resin having a durometer hardness of 60 (JIS K 7215), and the inner ring portion 16 is made of a soft vinyl chloride resin having a durometer hardness of 90 (JIS K 7215). .
[0022]
The outer ring portion 15 has a thick proximal end portion 18 located on the joining line 17 side, a large curved corner portion 19, and a straight portion 20. Of these, the straight portion 20 shown in FIG. 4 shows a state of being attached to the insertion tube 12 and thus is straight on the outer peripheral surface 12a of the insertion tube 12. It inclines inward toward the center of the packing 10, and the adhesiveness with respect to the insertion cylinder 12 in the mounting state is improved. In addition, the linear portion 20 is formed with two water-stopping ribs 21 that are endless annular and project obliquely in a cantilever shape.
[0023]
A thick base portion 22 is formed in the inner ring portion 16, and an L-shaped cross section projecting outward toward the outer ring portion 15 at an end portion of the base portion 22 opposite to the joining line 17. The protruding piece portion 23 is formed. A groove-like portion surrounded by the projecting piece 23 and the base 22 constitutes a first locking recess 24 as a “locking receiving portion”. The first locking recess 24 has a groove width including the bottom portion 25 forming the deepest portion slightly larger than the plate thickness of the insertion tube 12, and the depth direction of the first locking recess 24 is a duct of the insertion tube 12. 6 is formed as a direction along the extraction direction x from 6.
[0024]
Further, a thin portion 26 connected to the outer ring portion 15 is formed in a portion adjacent to the joining line 17 in the thick base portion 22. A groove-shaped portion surrounded by the thin portion 26, the short surface portion 27 of the base portion 22 connected to the thin portion 26, and the outer ring portion 15 forms a second locking recess 28 as a “lock receiving portion”. ing. The second locking recess 28 has a groove width including the bottom portion 29 forming the deepest portion, which is slightly larger than the plate thickness of the insertion tube 12, and the depth direction of the second locking recess 28 is the water stop packing 10 (difference). It is formed as a direction toward the center of the barrel 12).
[0025]
And the water stop packing 10 is formed with an inner surface surrounded by facing surfaces where the outer ring portion 15 and the inner ring portion 16 face each other as a mounting recess 30 in which the tube end side of the insertion tube 12 can be mounted. Yes. The first locking recess 24 and the second locking recess 28 are formed on a part of the inner surface forming the mounting recess 30. And in order to mount | wear with the insertion cylinder 12 here, the cylinder end side is inserted from the opening part 31 between the outer ring part 15 and the protrusion part 23 of the inner ring part 16. As shown in FIG.
[0026]
Next, the operation and effect of the water stop packing 10 according to the present embodiment configured as described above will be described.
[0027]
Since the water-stop packing 10 can be attached to the insertion tube 12 in such a manner that the outer ring portion 15 and the inner ring portion 16 wrap around the tube end side of the insertion tube 12 inserted into the attachment recess 30. Even if there is no mounting recess for mounting the water-stopping packing on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion tube as in the prior art, it can be mounted simply by inserting the insertion tube 12 into the mounting recess 30. Further, when the insertion tube 12 is inserted into the duct 6, the insertion tube 12 abuts against the outer ring portion 15, so that the mounting position of the water blocking packing 10 does not shift.
[0028]
When the insertion tube 12 of the vent cover 11 is removed from the duct 6, the folded portion 12 c that is bent on the tube end side of the insertion tube 12 enters the groove-shaped first locking recess 24, and the removal direction x is locked to the bottom 25 constituting the locking recess 24. Therefore, the water blocking packing 10 is not removed from the insertion tube 12 and left in the duct 6. Further, the tube end side end of the insertion tube 12 may be a curved portion 12d as shown in FIG. That is, in this case, the curved portion 12d enters the groove-shaped second locking recess 28 and is locked to the short surface portion 27 constituting the locking recess 28 in the removal direction x. Therefore, it is possible to avoid the problem of leaving the water-stopping packing 10 regardless of whether the end portion of the insertion tube 12 on the tube end side is the folded portion 12c or the curved portion 12d.
[0029]
The inner ring part 16 has a higher height while giving the water-stopping rib 21 of the outer ring part 15 the rubber elasticity necessary for water-stopping that is exhibited by flexibly following and deforming the inner peripheral surface 6a of the duct 6. Since it is formed of a resin material having hardness and rigidity (no such flexibility), the water-stopping packing 10 is easy to mount and difficult to come off. When the ventilation port cover 11 is removed from the duct 6, the bottom 25 of the first locking recess 24 or the short surface portion 27 of the second locking recess 28 in the inner ring portion 16 having high hardness is inserted. The latch by the folded part 12c or the curved part 12d of the cylinder 12 is firmly received. Therefore, the water stop packing 10 can be reliably removed from the duct 6 together with the insertion tube 12 in the mounted state. Furthermore, since the outer ring portion 15 and the inner ring portion 16 are configured as a double-molded body, a single molding step is sufficient and manufacture is easy.
[0030]
And the vent cover 11 provided with the water stop packing 10 which exhibits such various effects can greatly increase the added value.
[0031]
In the above embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the groove-shaped first locking recess 24 is formed so that there is some play in the insertion / extraction direction of the insertion tube 12 with respect to the folded portion 12c. Although it becomes easy, in order to obtain stronger mounting property, when the water stop packing 10 is mounted on the insertion tube 12, the first locking recess 24 and the folded portion 12 c are connected to the insertion tube 12. You may comprise as a shape engaged without play in the insertion / extraction direction. Moreover, although the still water packing 10 of the said embodiment is a double molded object, you may comprise as a two-color molded object obtained by two-color molding.
[0032]
【The invention's effect】
According to the waterproof seal of the present invention in which the inner ring portion, the outer ring portion, and the mounting recess are formed, it can be mounted simply by inserting the tube end of the insertion tube into the mounting recess, so it is suitable for the bore size of the insertion tube. If the waterproof seal is manufactured, it can be installed regardless of the type of vent cover. Therefore, it is sufficient to manufacture only a standard product having no mounting recess for mounting the water-stopping packing, and the manufacture of a dedicated product having a mounting recess for mounting the water-stopping packing as in the past can be eliminated. Moreover, since it can be attached to an existing vent cover that does not have a mounting recess for attaching a water stop packing, the existing vent cover can be used effectively as it is.
[0033]
According to the water-stopping packing of the present invention in which the engagement receiving portion is provided in the mounting recess, it is possible to avoid the disadvantage that the water-stopping packing is removed from the insertion tube and left in the duct. Construction work is not interrupted even if temporary insertion is performed.
[0034]
The bent end portion is formed as an inwardly curved portion or a folded portion that is folded inward, and as a latch receiving portion of the inner ring portion, a contact surface that is latched with the curved portion in the removal direction or the According to the water stop packing of the present invention provided with at least one of the contact surface that is locked in the withdrawal direction with the folded portion, the water stop can be mounted regardless of the specific shape of the tube end of the plug-in cylinder. The problem of leaving the packing in the duct can be avoided.
[0035]
According to the water-proof packing of the present invention in which the outer ring portion is formed of a resin material having rubber elasticity and the inner ring portion is formed of a resin material having a hardness higher than that of the outer ring portion, it is easy to mount and difficult to remove. In addition, when the insertion tube of the vent cover is removed from the duct, it can be removed together with the insertion tube from the duct more securely while being attached to the insertion tube. Further, if the outer ring portion and the inner ring portion are integrally formed as a two-color molded body or a double molded body, they can be easily manufactured in a single molding process.
[0036]
According to the vent cover of the present invention in which the water stop packing according to any one of the present invention is attached to the tube end of the insertion tube inserted into the duct from the vent of the building, various advantages as described above. A high-value-added vent cover including a water-stopping packing having
