Description
【0001】

のジョブID(JOB_ID)が付与されている。
AUTOFILE_STATUS" は、最後に実行した自動プリントのステータス情報であり、等号(=) に続けて"ONGOING" と記述されている場合は自動プリント実行中を示し、"COMPLETE"と記述されている場合は自動プリント完了を示し、"CANCELED"と記述されている場合は、自動プリントがキャンセルされたことを示す。"

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a print control method and a printer apparatus in a printer that records an image on a recording paper, and is processed by an image captured by an imaging apparatus such as a digital camera and stored in a storage medium or a computer apparatus, for example. The present invention relates to a print control method and a printer device for automatically printing an image stored in a storage medium.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, it has become possible to obtain analog or digital image signals representing, for example, full-color photographic images and moving images, using image processing software installed in an imaging device such as a digital camera or a movie camera and a computer processing device. . Under such a background, there is a demand not only to display an image signal on a monitor device and to appreciate the displayed image but also to keep it as a hard copy. As a printer for recording such a photographic image on a recording paper, a so-called video printer is known, and there are various types of recording methods such as a thermal transfer method, a thermoautochrome (TA) method, an ink jet method, and a laser method.
[0003]
These printers are connected to a personal computer or a video player and hard copy the output image. Recently, for example, a small memory card in which digital image data is written is used as a thermoautochrome printer. Video printers that insert and read out the recorded data and print color images are also on the market. Even if the printer is not connected to a device that reproduces image signals, only the recording medium and printer that recorded the image data can be used. It has become possible to obtain a hard copy of a desired recorded image. Also, there is a photo output service that accepts memory cards, magnetic disks, etc., on which digital photo data is recorded, from customers and prints out the recorded images. Has been printed out using a silver halide photographic printer or the like, and a photograph equivalent to a silver salt photograph has been obtained.
[0004]
As such a printer, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-8537 describes a printer system that prints image data written in a memory card in the number and order specified by a print job. The print job information in this printer system is stored in the print program information storage area operated by the printer. The job number, the image number, the number of sheets, and the information related to multi-printing are set and written in the storage area. Therefore, the printer executes printing with reference to the print job information. In this conventional example, automatic printing is started after confirming whether or not there is enough recording paper when printing a plurality of sheets, and a desired image is selected from a number of images stored in the memory card in a desired order. The desired number of sheets can be printed continuously.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in a printer system such as the conventional example, during execution of automatic printing, for example, two sheets of recording paper are fed, the remaining number of sheets is reduced, paper is cut off during printing, or the power is suddenly cut off. If the automatic print operation is interrupted due to an unexpected cause, such as when a situation such as this occurs, even if the printer returns to an operable state after that, the automatic print operation is being interrupted. Could not resume from.
[0006]
Therefore, the operator must confirm how far printing has been completed, remove the print completion data from the print job information, and then reconfigure to obtain the remaining prints, that is, recreate the print job information. It was a very annoying task. Of course, it is possible to restart the automatic printing from the beginning, but in this case, the already output print is wasted.
[0007]
In addition, automatic printing cannot be executed unless the print job information for performing automatic printing is stored in the memory card. However, the appearance of the automatic print file is determined by the operator, that is, the automatic print function. It is not possible to determine whether or not the printer is usable, and even if the print job information is recorded on the memory card, the automatic print has been interrupted or the automatic print is normal. There was a problem that it was impossible to distinguish whether it was completed.
[0008]
Further, when the automatic print is finished and a desired print is obtained, if the print job information for designating the automatic print is left as it is, the recorded automatic print file causes two times against the operator's will. There is a problem in that the above-described automatic printing is executed, and in this case, a useless print is output.
[0009]
As described above, in the conventional example, the automatic printing operation is started after the automatic printing is not interrupted. However, if the automatic printing is unexpectedly interrupted by itself, the automatic printing is appropriately performed. The point of resuming the printing operation was not taken into consideration and the usability was bad.
[0010]
The present invention eliminates such drawbacks of the prior art, appropriately executes a designated automatic print operation, and can reliably obtain a designated print without excess or deficiency, and a print control method with good operability and An object is to provide a printer device.
