Claims (4)
- ガス・サンプリング・システム(36)の部分流ダイリューション・トンネル(38)への希釈用空気供給量の制御方法であって、
前記ガス・サンプリング・システムの空気減衰を低減させるように前記部分流ダイリューション・トンネルに近接して配置された過渡的希釈用空気流制御装置(110)によって、希釈用空気を固定質量流量ストリーム(112)と可変質量流量ストリーム(114)とに分割するステップと、
非定常状態の間の内燃機関(16)への吸気量の変移をモニタするステップと、
吸気量の変移に応答して、前記部分流ダイリューション・トンネルへの希釈用空気供給量を制御すべく前記可変質量流量ストリームの量を変えることによって、吸気量の変移に500ms以内で反応するステップと、を含む方法。 - 吸気量の変移に応答して、前記部分流ダイリューション・トンネルへの希釈用空気供給量を制御すべく前記可変質量流量ストリームの量を変えることによって、吸気量の変移に300ms以内で反応するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の希釈用空気供給量の制御方法。
- 内燃機関からの排気ストリーム中の排気粒子のサンプリング方法であって、
内燃機関の排気ストリームに、ガス・サンプリング・システムの部分流ダイリューション・トンネルを接続するステップと、
前記ガス・サンプリング・システムの空気減衰を低減させるように前記部分流ダイリューション・トンネルに近接して配置された過渡的希釈用空気流制御装置によって、フィルタリングおよびスクラビングされた希釈用空気を固定質量流量ストリームと可変質量流量ストリームとに分割するステップと、
部分流ダイリューション・トンネルに、フィルタリングおよびスクラビングされた希釈用空気を供給するステップと、
前記内燃機関の吸気量の変移に応答して、前記部分流ダイリューション・トンネルへのフィルタリングおよびスクラビングされた希釈用空気の供給量を制御すべく前記可変質量流量ストリームの量を変えることによって、吸気量の変移に500ms以内で反応するステップと、
部分流ダイリューション・トンネルから、排気ガス・サンプルと前記供給量のフィルタリングおよびスクラビングされた希釈用空気とを引き出すステップと、
排気ガス・サンプルと前記供給量のフィルタリングおよびスクラビングされた希釈用空気とをフィルタリングして、部分流ダイリューション・トンネルの出口端で排気粒子を捕捉するステップと、を含む方法。 - 吸気量の変移に応答して、前記部分流ダイリューション・トンネルへのフィルタリングおよびスクラビングされた希釈用空気の供給量を制御すべく前記可変質量流量ストリームの量を変えることによって、吸気量の変移に300ms以内で反応するステップを含む、請求項3に記載の排気粒子のサンプリング方法。
