【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、トマト,桃,梨,リンゴ,メロン,西瓜等の農産物を選別する農産物選別装置において、農産物を載せて搬送するための受皿に関する。

【従来技術】
農産物を一個づつ受皿に載せて搬送し、該搬送途中に配置した計測部で該受皿上の農産物計測して仕分するタイプの農産物選別装置が提供されている。このような農産物選別装置において用いられる受皿としては、種々の目的に応じて多くのものが提案されている。

従来の受皿の一つとして、受皿本体の内部に配置した農産物が載置される可撓性弾性材からなる収容部(底に向かうに従って内径が漸減する傾斜面を有するすり鉢状に形成されている)の斜面を内側に向けて膨らませて朝顔型又はラッパ型に形成したものが提案されており、この受皿は農産物を該収容部に載置した際、農産物の自重で該膨らんだ部分が適度に撓むことにより該斜面との接触面積を多くすると共に収まりを良くし、農産物の揺れ動きの防止を図るようにしている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

従来の受皿の他の一つとして、受皿本体の内周に形成されたすり鉢状の受載部の斜面に可撓性を有する複数のヒレ状弾性突起を水平方向に形成したものが提案されており、農産物を該受載部に載置した際、該受載部に載置される農産物の表面形状に倣って前記複数のヒレ状弾性突起がその先端部を下方に垂れ下げるように撓んで接触し、これら複数のヒレ状弾性突起の側面で農産物を押圧支持することにより、農産物の安定載置を可能としている(例えば、特許文献2参照)。

上記した従来の受皿は、いずれも農産物を載せる載せ部がすり鉢状に形成されているので、西瓜等の外径の大きな果実等の農産物からトマト等の外径が小さな農産物までを一つの受皿で安定して載置できるようにしているが、特許文献1に記載の受皿は、受皿の底部が閉塞されているため、例えば外部から農産物を照明し、透過光を例えばカメラで撮影して糖度等を計測する計測装置を備えた農産物選別装置に対して使用することができない。

また、特許文献2に記載の受皿にあっては、農産物が小径化するほど載せ部に対する農産物の接地高さが下がり、結果として小径の農産物の上部が受皿の上縁より僅かに出るかあるいは受皿の上縁より下がった位置となり、農産物に十分な光量での照明ができず、透過光の撮影ができない。

そこで、透過光計測装置を用いて農産物の内部品質を選別要素に用いる近時の農産物選別装置に対応する受皿として以下のようなものが提案されている。

透過光計測を可能とした従来の受皿の一つとして、農産物の下部に位置し、透過光計測用の貫通孔を有すると共に、この貫通孔の周囲に該貫通孔側に下り傾斜した斜面を有する受皿本体の内部に配置された受座と、農産物の側面を支持する弾性ヒレ状片を有する弾性支持部材を受皿本体の上縁部に搬送方向の前後に対向して設け、且つ前記受座の斜面に多数の可撓性を有するヒレ状に形成された弾性突起を設けた構成のものが提案されている。そして、小径の農産物に対しては前記受座での載置と、前記受座の弾性突起による透過光計測時の遮光性の確保を図ると共に、搬送中における姿勢変化を防止する。

また、中程度の径の農産物に対しては、前記受座での載置を行い、上下2段構成の前記弾性支持部材の中で、上方の弾性支持部材の先端部が農産物の外周面により下方に押し曲げられながら径方向外方に押し拡げられることで、該上方の弾性支持部材の先端部が弾性的に当接して搬送中の姿勢変化の防止を図っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した特許文献3に記載の受皿は、外径に大小差のある農産物に対しても受座の斜面に形成した多数の可撓性を有するヒレ状の弾性突起により載置安定性が図れると共に、透過光の計測に際して外乱光に対する遮光性が十分に得られるという優れた効果を有する。

ところで、受皿に農産物を載置した状態において、農産物の重心が高い位置にあると、搬送時における安定性が悪くなるため、前記受座はできるだけ低いほうが望ましい。

しかし、小径あるいは中径程度の農産物にあっては受皿内に完全に沈み込むかあるいは受皿の上端から上方に露出する部分が少ないことから、透過光の計測のために農産物を十分に照明することが難しく、そのため受皿の上部における左右の外周部を大きく切欠いて光源からの照明光が十分に農産物に照射できるようにしているが、受皿の形状が複雑化していた。

一方、前記受座に小径の農産物を載せた場合でもできるだけ前記弾性支持部材により農産物の水平方向の支持を行なえるように、上方の弾性支持部材の水平方向の長さを長くしたり、前記受座と前記上方の弾性支持部材との上下方向における間隔を短くするなどしているが、これにも限度がある。このように、小径の農産物の支持安定性を図ろうとすると、大径の農産物を受皿に載せた場合、農産物に対して前記上方の弾性支持部材が当接して支持する位置が該農産物の底部に近い位置となり易く、前記弾性支持部材による搬送時の農産物に対する支持が十分に行なえないことが考えられる。

また、搬送方向に直交する方向から農産物に光源からの照射光を照射するために、前記弾性支持部材を搬送方向に沿って前後に設けており、このため搬送方向と直交する方向における農産物の揺れ動き防止が十分に行なえないことも考えられる。

さらに、この受皿は透過光の計測時には上述のように照射光が遮られない方向に受皿の向きを揃えるために、受皿の向きを揃える工夫を受皿及び農産物選別装置の両方に施す必要があった。

本願発明の目的は、このような従来の問題に鑑みなされたもので、様々な大きさの農産物を安定して載置できる農産物選別装置用の受皿を提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
第1の発明は、請求項1に記載のように、農産物選別装置の搬送経路を農産物が載置されて搬送される農産物選別装置用の受皿において、
上面が開口した筒形状の受皿本体と、
該受皿本体内に配置された農産物の載置面をなす受部材と、
可撓弾性変形可能なゴム等の弾性部材により平板状に形成され、中央に第1の開口部を有する該受皿本体の上部に配置された第1の農産物揺れ止め部材と、
可撓弾性変形可能なゴム等の弾性部材により平板状に形成され、中央に該第1の開口部よりも小径の第2の開口部を有し、上下方向において該受部材と前記第1の農産物揺れ止め部材との間に配置された第2の農産物揺れ止め部材と、
前記第2の農産物揺れ止め部材を上端部に有し、該第2の農産物揺れ止め部材に担持される農産物が所定重量を超えると下方に向けて縮む上下方向に伸縮可能な筒状に形成された筒状体と、
を有し、
農産物が前記所定重量以下で前記第2の開口を拡開させて前記受部材に載置するサイズでは、前記第2の農産物揺れ止め部材は、該第2の開口の拡開により生じた可撓弾性変形により当該農産物の外周を略全周にわたって側方より弾性的に支持し、
農産物が前記所定重量以上で前記第1の開口を拡開させて前記受部材に載置するサイズでは、前記第2の農産物揺れ止め部材は、前記筒状体の縮みにより下方に移動すると共に当該農産物との当接面に合わせて可撓弾性変形し、前記第1の農産物揺れ止め部材は前記第1の開口の拡開により生じた可撓弾性変形により当該農産物の外周を略全周にわたって側方より弾性的に支持することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明を図面に示す実施の形態に基づいて説明する。
(第1の実施の形態)
図1〜図4は本発明の第1の実施の形態を示す。図1は受皿の縦断面図、図2は図1の上面図、図3は図1の受皿に小径の農産物を載せた状態を示す縦断面図、図4は図1の受皿に大径の農産物を載せた状態を示す縦断面図である。

図1において、本実施の形態の受皿1は、透過光計測に適した孔部2aが底壁部の中央に形成された円筒状の受皿本体2と、この受皿本体2の外周壁部2bの上縁部に挟持嵌合して保持され、中央部が開口した円盤状の農産物揺れ止め部材3と、受皿本体2の中央孔部2aの内周部に挟持嵌合して保持された農産物が載置される蛇腹状の受座4とにより構成され、図1に示すように、受座4は受皿本体2の孔部2aの軸心と同軸に透過光計測用の孔部4aが形成されている。

受皿本体2は、不透明な樹脂材より形成され、外周壁部2bの上端は同じ高さに揃えられている。受皿本体2の孔部2aの周囲には、受座4の下部が装着されるフランジ状の取付座部2cが形成されている。なお、受皿本体2は複数の部材を組み合わせて形成されているが、これらの部材の組み合わせについては特に本発明とは関係ないので一つの部材で構成されているように図示し、その説明を省略する。勿論、射出成形法等により一部材で形成するようにしても良い。

本実施の形態において、農産物揺れ止め部材3は、中程度の外径を有する農産物(例えばLサイズのメロン)A2から大径の外径を有する農産物A1に対して揺れ止めを行なうことを前提にしており、中程度の外径を有する農産物A2では支持片3cの先端部を下方に押し下げるようにして湾曲し、また大径の外径を有する農産物A1に対しては根元側から全体的に下方に押し下げるようにして湾曲しており、スリット3bを設けることにより各支持片3cは容易に弾性変形する。そして、弾性変形した4枚の支持片3cは農産物の全周に当接し、農産物を中心側に向けて略等しい押圧力を付与して農産物の支持を行なう。その際、大径の農産物A1に対しては強い押圧力が付与され、中径の農産物に対しては弱い押圧力が付与され、重い(大径)の農産物に対しても十分な水平方向における保持力が得られる。

また、農産物揺れ止め部材3の外周部には、周方向に沿って凹溝3dが形成され、この凹溝3dが受皿本体2の外周壁部2bの上縁部に挟み込まれて固定されている。

なお、農産物揺れ止め部材3は、円盤部分を4本のスリット3bにより4枚の支持片3cに分割しているが、これに限定されることはなく3分割、5分割あるいはそれ以上の分割数であっても良いが、あまり分割数が増えると支持片1枚当たりの押圧力の減少を招き、農産物の保持力が低下するので、3枚から6枚程度が望ましい。

筒状体4bは上下方向の伸縮を行なうための間接部を6点設けた構成としており、下から3点目の間接部に受部材4cを設けている。この受部材4cは筒状体4bの内周から中心方向に延びた円盤状に形成されているため、この受部材4cに載置する農産物の荷重が筒状体4bの下から3点目の間接部の全周に均等に加わり、しかも農産物揺れ止め部材3のように中央の開口部から径方向にスリットが形成されている構成ではないので、受部材4c自体における強度と筒状体4b自体における強度を考慮することにより、受部材4cに農産物を載置しても受部材4cが大きく撓んで農産物の載置を不能とすることはない。但し、本実施の形態では受部材4cの内周部4eの厚みを薄くすることにより、載置される農産物の荷重によりゴムによる可撓弾性変形を生じさせ、載置安定性を図っている。

一方、受座4の筒状体4bは、小径(軽量)の農産物A3を載置した程度では受部材4cから下部の間接部が撓んで筒状体4bが縮むようなばね定数には設定されておらず、受部材4cの高さは農産物の非載置状態における高さと殆ど変化しないようにしている。

さらに、受座4の筒状体4bは、大径(重い)の農産物A1を載置した場合には、蛇腹の間接部が撓んで筒状体4bが全体的に下方に向けて縮むようなばね定数に設定されており、受部材4cの高さは農産物の非載置状態における高さよりも低くなり、その分大径の農産物A1の中心が下がって載置安定性が良くなると共に、農産物揺れ止め部材3の支持片3cによる水平方向の支持安定性もより良好なものとなる。

上述のように、中径以上のサイズの農産物に対する水平方向の揺れ止めは、受座4とは別に受皿本体2の外周壁部2bの上端部に設けた農産物揺れ止め部材3により行なうようにしているが、小径の農産物A3については、筒状体4bの上部に設けた小径農産物揺れ止め部材4dにより水平方向の揺れ止めを行なうようにしている。小径の農産物A3を筒状体4bの受部材4cに載せる際に、小径農産物A3の自重で小径農産物揺れ止め部材4dの中央に形成されている開口4fが拡開するように該小径農産物揺れ止め部材4dが可撓弾性変形する必要がある。

そこで、本実施の形態においては、小径農産物揺れ止め部材4dの開口4fから径方向外方に向けて等間隔にスリット4gを形成し、各スリット4g間に小径農産物用支持片4hを形成することにより、各小径農産物用支持片4hが下方に向けて可撓弾性変形して該開口4fを拡開可能とし、また小径農産物揺れ止め部材4dの厚みを外周側から内周側に向けて漸減して小径農産物用支持片4hの曲げ強度を受座4の筒状体4bの伸縮変形強度よりも弱くしている。

受皿1に載せられる農産物が図3に示すように小径の場合、小径の農産物A3は受座4の小径農産物揺れ止め部材4dの先端部を大きく下方に押し下げ、開口4fを拡開し、受部材4cの中央開口に嵌り込むようにして載置される。その際、小径程度の農産物の重量では筒状体4bは下方に向けて縮むことは殆どない。そして、小径の農産物A3は筒状体材4bの上部から上方に小径農産物A3の上部を露出させた状態で受部材4cに載置され、載置時に可撓弾性変形させた筒状体4bの上部に設けられている小径農産物用支持片4hにより水平方向の支持が行なわれる。

農産物選別装置の搬送コンベア上を計測部に向けて小径農産物を載せた受皿1が搬送され、該計測部において側方から不図示の光源により照明光が照射され、透過光が計測用の孔部4a、2aを介して不図示の受光部に導かれる。その際、受部材4cの内周部4eが下向きに可撓弾性変形して小径農産物A3の外周面に周方向に沿って密着するため、外乱光が小径農産物A3の外表面と受部材4cとの間隙から入り込むことがない。
