Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for coating a multi-layer board having a rough surface, a middle layer portion having a large gap, and a surface layer portion having a finer mesh than the middle layer portion and having a small gap on the end surface, and particularly to a method for coating the end surface.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as this kind of multilayer board, a particle board manufactured by impregnating a resin adhesive between chips of a large number of wood materials and then hot compression molding is known. The particle board generally has a three-layer structure, and includes a middle layer portion in which coarse-grained chips are stacked, and two surface layer portions that are provided so as to sandwich the middle layer portion and in which chips that are finer than the middle layer portion are stacked. I have. Further, it is also known that in each surface layer portion, chips are stacked so that the eyes become finer stepwise from the inner side toward the surface side.
[0003]
Since the particle board has a structure in which chips are stacked as described above, the particle board has a number of relatively large voids (cavities) inside the middle layer portion, and a number much smaller than the middle layer portion inside the surface layer portion. It has a void. In such a particle board, a multi-layer structure always appears on the end face (the end face) due to its structural characteristics. Therefore, when the end face is painted, the paint is difficult to be sucked into the small gaps in the surface layer, and the middle layer is large. Easy to be sucked into the gap. For this reason, in the middle layer portion of the end surface, holes and irregularities due to the suction of the paint tend to occur on the painted surface while the paint is dried, and it is difficult to obtain a flat painted surface. Therefore, conventionally, in order to obtain a flat finished end surface with a good finish, a method of applying a thin wooden board or a resin decorative board to the entire end face in advance and then applying it onto the end face is performed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-mentioned conventional coating method, a wood board or a resin decorative board has to be attached to the entire end face, so there is a problem that the manufacturing cost increases due to an increase in material costs and man-hours. In particular, the work of attaching a thin wooden board or resin decorative board to the end face takes time, so when mass-producing pre-painted particle boards, you must use an expensive edge pasting device, and the manufacturing cost Will further increase.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method for coating a multilayer board that can reduce the manufacturing cost while maintaining a good finish of the end surface coating.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The method for coating a multilayer board according to claim 1 is provided with a coating material, a middle layer portion having a large number of voids, and two surface layer portions provided so as to sandwich the middle layer portion having a void smaller than the voids of the middle layer portion. A multi-layer plate is prepared on the end surface, and an adhesive tape is applied to the end surface of the multi-layer plate so as to leave two surface layer portions and cover the middle layer portion, and paint is applied to the entire end surface to which the adhesive tape is applied. It is characterized by that.
[0007]
According to the coating method of the multilayer board while paste partially adhesive tape on the end face while covering the and middle layer leaving two of the surface layer portion, since paint coating on the entire end surface, and painted on the end face paint Is not sucked into many voids in the middle layer. Moreover, since the space | gap of two surface layer parts is smaller than the space | gap of an intermediate | middle layer part, the painted paint is hard to be inhaled. Furthermore, adhesive tape, can be extremely thin thickness than wood board and resin decorative plate stuck on conventional edge, whereby a level difference between the edge and the surface layer portion of the adhesive tape adhered to the end face It becomes smaller, and can be leveled by thick coating. By the above, the coating film without an unevenness | corrugation can be formed in the whole end surface, and the coating surface of a favorable finish can be obtained. In addition, the adhesive tape is cheaper than conventional wood boards and resin decorative boards, and if an adhesive tape with the same width as the middle layer is prepared in advance, the middle layer part of the entire end face of the multilayer board is formed as one adhesive tape. Can be covered at once. In addition to this, since the adhesive tape is used, the operation of applying the adhesive tape is facilitated, and even when mass-produced coated multilayer boards are used, an expensive apparatus such as a conventional edge applying apparatus is not used. It can be easily applied by hand or a simple device. As described above, the coating cost can be reduced.
[0008]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the method for coating a multilayer board according to the first aspect, the paint is a polyester resin paint.
[0009]
According to this multi-layer board coating method, the polyester resin paint that has a high viscosity and can be applied thickly is applied to the end surface because it is solvent-free, so the edge of the tape affixed to the end surface and the surface layer portion The work of leveling the steps becomes easy. Moreover, the coating film formed as described above is in close contact with each surface layer portion, and a tape is interposed between the intermediate layer portion. In this case, since the coating film of the polyester resin paint has a strong cohesive force, the coating film is hardly peeled off from the end face as a whole because the coating film is in close contact with the two surface layer portions of the end face of the multilayer board. Thereby, it is possible to perform reliable coating while maintaining a good adhesion state of the coating film on the end face.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a method for coating a multilayer board according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 shows a particle board 1 which is an unpainted multilayer board, and FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional structure of the particle board 1 coated by applying the present invention. The particle board 1 is manufactured by impregnating a resin adhesive between a number of wood-made chips 2 and then hot compression molding, and has a thickness of 16 mm, for example. As shown in FIG. 4, the particle board 1 includes a middle layer portion 1a in which relatively coarse chips 2a are stacked, and two surface layer portions 1b and 1b provided so as to sandwich the middle layer portion 1a. The middle layer portion 1a has a thickness of about 10 mm and has a number of relatively large voids (not shown) inside. Each surface layer portion 1b has a thickness of about 3 mm and is formed by stacking a large number of chips 2b that are finer than the middle layer portion 1a. The details are gradually reduced. Further, the surface layer portion 1b has a gap that is considerably smaller than that of the middle layer portion 1a.
[0011]
A masking tape 3 is attached to the end surface 1c of the particle board 1 so as to cover the middle layer portion 1a, and a black polyester resin enamel coating 4 is provided so as to cover the surface layer portions 1b, 1b and the masking tape 3. The coating film 4a is formed. The masking tape 3 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a width of 10 mm and a thickness of 0.14 mm, and a sticking adhesive applied to the attachment surface. As shown in FIG. 2, the masking tape 3 is wound into a roll before being attached to the end face 1c. The coating film 4a is formed with a thickness of 0.5 mm or more, and its surface is finished flat. Further, on the end face 1c, the paint 4 hardly permeates (sucks) into the gap of the middle layer portion 1a, and slightly soaks into the gap of the surface layer portion 1b.
[0012]
In the coating method of the present embodiment, the particle board 1 is coated by the following steps (a) to (c).
[0013]
(A) Masking step: First, a pre-heat-compressed particle board 1 as shown in FIG. 1 is prepared, and as shown in FIG. 2, a masking tape 3 is attached to the end surface 1c so as to cover the middle layer portion 1a. . At this time, since the masking tape 3 has substantially the same width as the thickness of the middle layer portion 1a, the gap in the middle layer portion 1a can be completely closed. Further, since the masking tape 3 is composed of an adhesive tape wound in a roll shape, the masking tape 3 can be easily attached to the end face 1c, and at the time of attachment, the four end faces 1c of the particle board 1 are The middle layer 1a can be covered at a time.
[0014]
(B) Coating process: Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the enamel paint 4 of the black polyester resin is spray-coated on the whole surface of the particle board 1 to which the masking tape 3 is stuck using the spray gun 5. In this case, the polyester resin enamel paint 4 is solventless and has high viscosity and can be thickly coated. Therefore, the paint 4 is applied to the end face 1c with a thickness of 0.5 mm or more by spraying repeatedly. . Since the thickness of the masking tape 3 is as thin as 0.14 mm and the step between the edge of the masking tape 3 and the surface layer portion 1b is very small, the end face is filled in by coating the coating 4 thickly as described above. The coating film 4a without unevenness can be formed on the entire 1c.
[0015]
(C) Drying step: Thereafter, the coating of the particle board 1 is finished by reaction-curing (drying) the coating film 4a of the polyester resin coating 4.
[0016]
As described above, according to the multilayer board coating method of the present embodiment, the middle layer 1a of the end face 1c of the particle board 1 is covered with the masking tape 3, and then the polyester resin enamel paint 4 is applied to the entire end face 1c. The paint 4 painted on the end face 1c is hardly sucked into the gap of the middle layer portion 1a. Moreover, since the space | gap of the surface layer part 1b is considerably smaller than the space | gap of the intermediate | middle layer part 1a, the coating material 4 applied to the end surface 1c is hard to be sucked into the space | gap of the surface layer part 1b, and only a little is sucked. Furthermore, the masking tape 3 can be made extremely thin compared to a conventional wooden board or resin decorative board to be attached to the end face, whereby the edge of the masking tape 3 attached to the end face 1c and the surface layer portion can be reduced. The step with 1b becomes smaller. Further, since the polyester resin paint 4 has a property of being highly viscous and capable of being thickly coated due to being a solvent-free type, the edge of the masking tape 3 and the surface layer are coated by thickly coating the paint 4 on the end face 1c. A small level difference with the part 1b can be leveled easily. By the above, the coating film 4a without an unevenness | corrugation can be easily formed in the whole end surface 1c, and the coating surface of a favorable finish can be obtained. Furthermore, since the coating film 4a of the polyester resin coating 4 generally has a strong cohesive force, as described above, the coating film 4a is in close contact with only the two surface layer portions 1b and is masked with the middle layer portion 1a. Even if the tape 3 is in close contact with the relatively weak adhesive force, the entire coating film 4a is hardly peeled off from the end face 1c. Thereby, it is possible to perform reliable coating while maintaining a good adhesion state of the coating film 4a on the end face 1c.
[0017]
Further, the masking tape 3 is less expensive than conventional wooden boards and resin decorative boards, and is composed of an adhesive tape wound in a roll shape having substantially the same width as the end face 1c. The middle layer 1a of the two end faces 1c can be covered with one tape at a time. Furthermore, even when the coated particle board 1 is mass-produced, it can be easily pasted manually or with a simple apparatus without using an expensive apparatus such as a conventional edge pasting apparatus. As described above, the coating cost can be reduced.
[0018]
In the coating step (b) of the above embodiment, the coating on the end surface 1c is performed by the spray coating method using the spray gun 5. Good. For example, the coating film 4a may be formed on the end face 1c by a method called potting as shown in FIG. The coating material 4 is not limited to the polyester resin coating material, and any coating material that can form a thick coating film such as UV (ultraviolet) curing type, visible light curing type, or electron beam curing type coating may be used. Furthermore, in the above-mentioned (b) painting step, the coating is performed once. However, the present invention is not limited to this. After applying (mixed), it may be applied twice, such as applying a top coat, or applying more than three times. In this case, different types of top coat and undercoat may be applied, and for example, a polyester surfacer paint or a polyurethane surfacer paint may be used as the top coat. In addition to this, the undercoating film may be sharpened. Further, the thickness of the middle layer portion 1a and the surface layer portion 1b of the particle board 1 and the width and thickness of the masking tape 3 are not limited to those of the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately selected. Furthermore, the tape for closing the gap in the middle layer portion 1a is not limited to the masking tape 3, but may be any tape that can be attached to the end surface 1c so as to close the gap in the middle layer portion 1a.
[0019]
