Description
Claims (13)
- ケーブルと、該ケーブルが貫通する壁体との間を封止するためのケーブルグランドアセンブリ(1)であって、該ケーブルグランドアセンブリ(1)は、シールスリーブ(71)と、2つのアセンブリ部分(4,6)の相対運動の際に強制されて前記シールスリーブを封止方向に駆動するシールスリーブ駆動装置(72)とを備えるシール機構を有し、
前記シールスリーブ駆動装置は、円筒形状の配列になって、支持リング(81)に設ける複数のフィンガ(80)を有し、各フィンガ(80)は、前記支持リング(81)に設ける個所(Pa)を略中心にして揺動可能であるとともに、比較的に剛であり、そのため強制されて揺動するときに実質的に真っ直ぐのままである前記ケーブルグランドアセンブリにおいて、
前記シールスリーブ(71)は、その一端にフランジ部(76)を有し、該フランジ部(76)は、前記2つのアセンブリ部分の一方(4)の端壁(40)と前記支持リング(81)との間で、該シールスリーブ(71)から半径方向外方に延びており、それにより、該フランジ部(76)は、該シールスリーブ(71)の前記一端において前記支持リング(81)により駆動されて前記2つのアセンブリ部分の一方(4)の前記端壁(40)と封止係合するとともに、前記シールスリーブ(71)の他端は、前記2つのアセンブリ部分(4、6)の相対運動の際に前記複数のフィンガ(80)により半径方向内方に駆動され、
さらに、前記フランジ部(76)は、前記シールスリーブ(71)が前記シールスリーブ駆動装置(72)と一緒に嵌合するときに該フランジ部(76)が前記支持リング(81)を包み込むように、切欠き形状(77)に形成されていることを特徴とするケーブルグランドアセンブリ。 - 前記シールスリーブ(71)は、シルクハット形である請求項1に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記シールスリーブ(71)の外側面は、凹部(75)を含むような外形に形成されている請求項1又は請求項2に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のフィンガ(80)の各々は、前記シールスリーブ(71)の前記凹部(75)に入る突起部(82)を備えている請求項3に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記シールスリーブ(71)の先導縁(73)は、ブルノーズ形もしくは丸みが付けられている請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記2つのアセンブリ部分の他方(6)の内側部分(64)は、該2つのアセンブリ部分の前記一方(4)との間に相対運動があるときに、前記複数のフィンガ(80)の各々が封止方向に強制されるような形状に形成されている請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のフィンガ(80)の各々の先導縁(83)はテーパが付けられている請求項6に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記内側部分(64)は傾斜している請求項6又は請求項7に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記のような形状に作られた内側部分(64)を有する前記他方のアセンブリ部分(6)は、前記壁体を貫通した端部とは反対側の端部のところで前記一方のアセンブリ部分(4)にねじ式に締め付けられている袋ナット(6)である請求項6ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のフィンガ(80)は、一部重複する仕方で前記支持リング(81)上に円筒形状の配列になって配置され、該複数のフィンガ(80)は、前記シールスリーブ駆動装置(72)により半径方向内方に作用を受けたときに互いに関して滑動することができ、前記円筒形状の配列及び前記シールスリーブ ( 71 ) の有効径を減少させるようになっている請求項1ないし請求項9のいずれか1項に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 使用されるケーブル(C)と前記ケーブルグランドアセンブリ(1)の一部分との間に電気接触をもたらすための導電手段(31)を更に含む請求項1ないし請求項10のいずれか1項に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記導電手段(31)は、使用される前記ケーブル(C)と接触するための弾性的に可撓の導体(33)から構成されている請求項11に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
- 前記弾性的に可撓の導体(33)は、装着リング(32)から、使用される前記ケーブル(C)に向かって延びる弾性的に可撓のフィンガ(33)であり、前記装着リング(32)は、ケーブル被覆締付け手段(19,21)と電気接触状態で固定されている請求項12に記載のケーブルグランドアセンブリ。
