Description
【0001】
また、CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check )による誤り検出符号でもよい。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an AC (Auxiliary Channel: additional information channel) transmission / reception method, transmission apparatus, and reception apparatus of an OFDM transmission system such as terrestrial digital broadcasting.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Japanese terrestrial digital television broadcasting and terrestrial digital audio broadcasting transmission systems have different bandwidths, but the transmission systems are almost the same. Hereinafter, unless otherwise distinguished, both transmission methods are collectively referred to as terrestrial digital broadcasting.
[0003]
Japanese terrestrial digital broadcasting is called ISDB-T and employs a modulation method called OFDM. OFDM is a multi-carrier modulation scheme using a plurality of carriers. ISDB-T is composed of OFDM segments with a bandwidth of about 430 kHz. When 13 OFDM segments are used, the terrestrial digital television broadcasting system is used, and when one or three OFDM segments are used, the terrestrial digital audio broadcasting system is used. . There are two types of OFDM segments: a synchronous segment configuration and a differential segment configuration.
[0004]
Table 1 shows the transmission specifications of ISDB-T.
[0005]
[Table 1]
ISDB-T has three types of modes, each having a different number of carriers, carrier interval, effective symbol length, and the like. The number of carriers per OFDM segment is 108 in
[0006]
In addition, effective symbols have a guard interval that reduces interference, and effective symbols and guard intervals are collectively referred to as symbols. There are four types of guard interval lengths of 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32 of the effective symbol length. Since one frame is composed of 204 symbols, the length of one frame is about 65 ms in
[0007]
Furthermore, among OFDM carriers, there are a transmission control carrier called TMCC and a carrier of an additional information transmission channel called AC in addition to a carrier for transmitting data. Both TMCC and AC can transmit 204 bits per frame. There are two types of AC, AC1 and AC2. AC1 is a carrier common to both segment configurations of the synchronous segment configuration and the differential segment configuration, and AC2 is a carrier having only the differential segment configuration. For example, in
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when an audio signal is transmitted using AC of an OFDM transmission system such as terrestrial digital broadcasting, if error correction similar to TMCC is performed, a frame delay occurs, and therefore a transmission delay of 100 ms or more occurs. In the production of relay programs, there was a problem to be solved that it was difficult to use when used for sending back audio.
[0009]
An object of the present invention is to devise a transmission method and a reception method when an audio signal is transmitted using AC of an OFDM transmission system such as terrestrial digital broadcasting, and to shorten a transmission delay between transmission and reception as much as possible (for example, , 100 ms or less).
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, according to the AC transmission method of the OFDM transmission system of the present invention, in the AC transmission method of the OFDM transmission system, at the time of transmission, the configuration of the AC packet is specified by bits arranged near the beginning of the frame. An AC transmission method for an OFDM transmission system, wherein a plurality of AC carriers are used, and when bits are assigned to the data portion of the AC carriers, the AC carriers are sequentially and cyclically assigned to different AC carriers. It is.
[0011]
In the AC transmission method of the OFDM transmission system according to the present invention , bits can be assigned to the data portion of the AC carrier so as not to transmit parity bits for error correction in units of frames.
[0012]
In addition, the AC reception method of the OFDM transmission system of the present invention cyclically reads the bits of the data portion sequentially allocated to different AC carriers when reading the data of a plurality of AC carriers transmitted by the AC transmission method of the present invention. read into, and is characterized in that so as to decode sequentially read data.
[0013]
Further, the AC transmission apparatus of the OFDM transmission system of the present invention includes means for encoding voice to be AC transmitted, means for selecting a plurality of AC carriers for transmitting voice encoded by the means, and transmission. Prior to the service identification of the information to be transmitted, means for designating the line number, the packet header portion of the plurality of AC carriers selected by the means for selecting, the service identification designated by the means for designation, the line number And the bits encoded in the data part of the plurality of AC carriers in the order of the packet numbers of the plurality of AC carriers set by the setting means. in allocating also characterized by comprising comprises means writes cyclically assigned sequentially to different AC carrier It is.
[0015]
Further, the AC receiver of the OFDM transmission system of the present invention receives means for receiving an OFDM signal including a packet of the AC carrier generated by the AC transmitter of the present invention , and detects all AC carriers from the received OFDM signal. The first extraction means for checking the structure of the AC packet for all the AC carriers detected by the above and extracting the AC packet of the resulting structure, the service identification of the information to be received prior to reception, the line number Means for specifying, second extraction means for extracting the plurality of AC packets having the service identification and line number matching the specification from the AC packets extracted by the first extraction means, the second extraction means, Reads the number of packets per frame of the service identification and line number that are extracted by the extraction means and match the above specifications. In reading the bits assigned to the data unit of the plurality of AC carriers, to read successively the different assigned to AC carrier bit data unit cyclically, the packet number of AC packets from the smaller symbol number It is characterized by comprising reading means for sequentially reading data, and means for decoding the data read by the reading means and sequentially reproducing the sound.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on an embodiment of the invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 shows an example of a 204-bit AC configuration used in an AC transmission / reception method for digital terrestrial broadcasting to which the present invention is applied.
In FIG. 1, (a) shows the basic configuration of AC. There is a reference bit for differential demodulation at the head, followed by a packet header, followed by data. The configuration of the AC packet is of two types, the configuration of FIG. 1B and the configuration of FIG. 1C. The configuration of FIG. 1B is a configuration in the case where there is no error correction in units of packets (this is the configuration). 1), and the configuration in FIG. 1C is a configuration in the case where there is error correction in units of packets (this is referred to as configuration 2). A correction code in the case of error correction may be a code obtained by shortening (273, 191) of the difference set cyclic code.

In Table 2, bit number C 0 indicates a differential demodulation reference, and bit numbers C 1 to C 3 indicate identification with or without FEC (Forward Error Correction) (
[0019]
The bit numbers C 15 to C 18 indicate the number of packets transmitted in one frame for the circuit numbers indicated by the service identification bit numbers C 7 to C 10 indicated by the bit numbers C 4 to C 6. Yes. Bit numbers C 19 to C 23 indicate the parity or error detection code of the packet header part. As the parity of the bit numbers C 19 to C 23 , for example, a code obtained by shortening the (31, 26) BCH code can be considered, but other codes may be used. Also, an error detection code by CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) may be used. The bit number C 24 -C 203 is data.

[0022]
FIG. 4 is a flowchart showing an example of the flow of signal processing as a more detailed description in the case of transmitting audio information using AC in order to supplement the description of the transmission apparatus.
Here, it is assumed that the voice information is transmitted using the service identification S0 and the line number CH0 as described above. First, speech information (401) is encoded (402) by a low bit rate speech encoding method such as VSELP used in mobile phones and the like. In this encoding, error protection may be performed simultaneously with speech encoding using error correction codes such as convolutional encoding. Next, an AC carrier for transmitting the encoded voice information is selected (403).
[0023]
In the selection of the AC carrier, a transmission capacity capable of sufficiently transmitting the encoded voice information is ensured, and the AC carrier is selected as randomly as possible within the transmission band. In order to send voice information, for example, service identification S0 and line number CH0 are designated (404). The packet header part of the AC carrier selected according to this designation is set (405). That is, as shown in the figure, FEC (Forward Error Correction) identification is set to 000, service identification is set to S0, the line number is set to CH0, the number of packets used in one frame and the packet number are set, and the parity of the packet header part is set. Is set (405). Next, the audio data is written bit by bit in the order of the set packet numbers (406).
In the AC carrier selection (403), the same AC carrier may be selected every frame.
[0024]
FIG. 5 is a flowchart showing an example of the flow of signal processing when audio information sent using AC is received.
Also here, it is assumed that the voice information is transmitted using the service identification S0 and the line number CH0 as described above. First, all AC carriers are detected (501) from the received OFDM signal. Next, for all detected AC carriers, the configuration of the AC packet, for example, the FEC identification is checked, and the AC packet of
[0025]
Subsequently, the number of packets per frame of service identification S0 and line number CH0 is read, and data is read in order of packet number from the smallest symbol number (505). The read data is sent to the voice decoding unit, and the transmitted voice is sequentially reproduced (506).
[0026]
Moreover, VSELP, PSI-CELP, CS-ACELP, etc. which are used by a mobile phone etc. can be considered as a speech coding system that can be used in the present invention. According to these encoding systems, telephone quality voice can be transmitted with a transmission capacity of 5.6 to 11.2 kbps and a transmission delay time of 100 ms or less.
[0027]
The embodiment of the present invention described above is an example of performing transmission with a short delay time using AC of terrestrial digital broadcasting. However, the present invention is not limited to terrestrial digital broadcasting, but uses, for example, OFDM. The present invention can also be applied to other transmission systems such as a digital FPU.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when an audio signal is transmitted using AC (Auxiliary Channel) of terrestrial digital broadcasting, the configuration of the AC packet is designated by the bits arranged near the head of the frame, and the frame unit is specified. By not transmitting parity bits for error correction, it is possible to transmit an audio signal with a short delay time without worrying about the transmission frame length due to the difference in mode.
