【課題を解決するための手段】
光ディスクの読取面に形成されるキズ(スクラッチキズ)は、以下の3つに大別される。
(1)光ディスクが記録再生装置へロードされる場合、又はイジェクトされる場合に形成されるキズ。

この場合のキズは、光ディスクの略半径方向に延びる直線である。
(2)光ディスクが記録再生装置によって回転駆動されている最中に、光ピックアップ等が光ディスクの読取面に接触する場合に形成されるキズ。
