本発明によるレシーバドライヤは、空気調和装置に使用される冷媒を貯留するとともに該冷媒中の水分を除去する機能を有するレシーバドライヤであって、有底の円筒状の本体と、該本体の開口部に固着され冷媒の入口穴及び出口穴を有する円盤状のヘッダと、前記本体内に封入される乾燥剤と、前記出口穴に取り付けられる異物除去用のストレーナとを備え、前記入口穴は、前記ヘッダの外側の端面から前記本体の内部に向けて延びるとともに先端部が前記ヘッダの側面に開口するように形成されており、前記ヘッダの側面における前記入口穴の開口が形成された部位と前記本体の内周面との間に冷媒が通過する隙間が形成されていることを特徴とする。
