Description
Claims (5)
- 中心軸を有し、かつエンジンの燃焼生成物を発生させる燃料および空気を収容するように、上流端壁と、上記中心軸回りに連続した側壁と、を有する概ね円筒状の燃焼器缶と、
上記燃焼器缶と流体的に連通し、かつ、上記上流端壁に隣接して上記燃焼器缶の上記側壁に取り付けられるとともに、互いに周方向に間隔をおいて配置された複数の燃料空気予混合管と、
を備え、
上記予混合管は、内部で燃料空気混合気を生じさせる管主要部と、該燃料空気混合気を燃焼させるように燃焼器缶へ噴射する出口部と、を有し、
上記管主要部は、上記燃焼器缶の中心軸とほぼ平行に延びた中心軸を有し、
上記出口部は、上記管主要部の中心軸とほぼ垂直に延びた中心軸を有し、かつ接線方向にオフセットして上記燃焼器缶に対して半径方向に配設され、
上記燃焼器缶の上記上流端壁における入口に接続されるとともに、上記予混合管の上記出口部の上記中心軸を各々に含む複数の長手方向の平面の間に配設された少なくとも1つのパイロット燃料ラインと、
上記上流端壁に隣接するように上記燃焼器缶の側壁に取り付けられた少なくとも1つの点火装置と、
をさらに備え、
上記点火装置は、上記パイロット入口から周方向に下流に位置し、かつ該パイロット入口と、隣接の予混合管との間に位置するように燃焼器缶内側に配設されることを特徴とするガスタービンエンジン用の燃焼器。 - 上記燃焼器缶に対する各予混合管の接線方向のオフセット量がD/24より大きくかつD/6未満となるパラメータTにより特定されることとなり、ここで、上記Dは、燃焼器缶の直径であり、かつ、上記Tは、上記予混合管の上記出口部中心軸と、該出口部中心軸と平行な上記燃焼器缶における直径方向の直線と、の間の距離であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジン用の燃焼器。
- 上記TはD/12に等しいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のガスタービンエンジン用の燃焼器。
- 上記予混合管の少なくとも1つが、所定の混合比を有した燃料空気混合気を発生させるように、もしくは、純空気のまま供給するように、独立に機能するよう適合していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジン用の燃焼器。
- 一次燃焼領域を定義する上記燃焼器缶の上流部分がインピンジメント空気のみにより冷却されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジン用の燃焼器。
