【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、通信ターミナル等電気機器の入出力端子として使用される端子台に関するもので、特に多数本の導電線により、外部の電気・電子機器と接続される場合に好適な分離型端子台に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、多数本の導電線により外部機器と接続される端子台2は、図1に示すように機器本体1の背面に固定的に設置され、接続する導電線は多数本の端子ネジ3により、個々に固定されている。そのような使用状況では、機器本体は背面に張りめぐらされた多数本の導電線により、言わばその場所に拘束された形となっており、通常の使用条件下では全く支障はないが、何らかの事情により、設定場所の変更が必要になった場合、或いは点検、補修、修理等で、機器の配置変更や移動の必要が生じた場合には、接続した導電線を本体機器から切り離し、軽装化してから処置しなければならないが、そのためには多数本の導電線全てについて、その端末を固定している端子台の端子ネジを、1本ずつ緩めて外さねばならず、その結果非常に大きな労力、時間のロスになっていた。しかも再連結時に結線順序を誤る恐れもあり、その処置・管理は、作業者にとって大きな負担となっていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の目的は、接続された多数本の導電線で拘束された電気機器本体から、接続導電線を一斉にワンタッチで分離でき、今後ますます増大し煩雑化する接続された導電線の着脱作業を迅速・確実化し、作業コストを大幅に軽減する分離型端子台の提供である。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、本発明は、下記の構成を有するもである。
(1)導電線端末を個々に固定する端子ネジを複数個備える端子台が、少なくとも電気機器の本体に固定するソケット部と該ソケット部に着脱容易に嵌合されるネジ端子部から成り、該ネジ端子部は、導電線端末と接触し、かつ該ネジ端子部下方に突出するリ−ド片を備え、一方該ソケット部は、嵌合時に該リード片と相対する位置に、電気機器の本体に導通可能な導電性接触片を備え、該ネジ端子部と該ソケット部の嵌合時に該リード片と該導電性接触片が接合する分離型端子台であって、該ネジ端子部は、端子金具側ハウジングに端子ネジ側ハウジングが付設された構造を有し、該端子ネジ側ハウジングは、一方の側面部、上面部、及び端子ネジの軸線に対して該一方の側面部に対向する他方の側面部を含む形状であり、電気絶縁性のプラスチックで成形され、周囲から絶縁されており、該一方の側面部複数個の導電線端末挿入口、該上面部に端子ネジ操作口、及びその中に端子ネジを支える座金と一体に設けられた座金ガイド部を該端子ネジの軸方向に平行に案内する座金案内部を備えて、該端子ネジと、該端子ネジを支える該座金を収容し、該端子金具側ハウジングも基部と、該基部から下方に突出する互いに平行な少なくとも二つの挿入部とを含む形状であり、電気絶縁性のプラスチックで成形され、周囲から絶縁されており、該端子ネジに螺合する螺合部と該リード片を有する端子金具を支持する、基部から上方に突出する支持部を備えて、該支持部上に該端子金具を、該リ−ド片が該挿入部間に固定されるよう配設してなり、一方、該ソケット部は、該端子金具側ハウジングの挿入部と接合する少なくとも二つの受容部を備えたハウジングと、該受容部材間に固定された、電気機器の本体に導通可能な受栓端子からなることを特徴とする分離型端子台。
(2)ネジ端子部の側面部に少なくとも1組のレバ−部材を備え、該レバ−部材がソケット部側面部に設けた鉤状部と篏合して、ネジ端子部がソケット部に着脱容易に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の分離型端子台。
(3)端子ネジ側ハウジングは、端子ネジの軸方向と平行に形成された復帰用コイルバネ収容スペ−スを備え、該スペ−スに収容された復帰用コイルバネの一部が、端子ネジを支承する座金と一体に設けられたバネ押圧部により押圧されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の分離型端子台。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明の実施の形態を、図面に従って説明する。
本発明の分離型端子台は、同一構造の端子ユニットを複数個長手方向に配列して構成しているので、以下の説明はその1ユニットについて行うことにする。図2に本発明の分離型端子台4の1ユニットの全体構造を、図示しない接続する導電線の末端に取り付けた、圧着端子5を挿入した状態で、側断面図として示すが、上部約2/3を占めるネジ端子部4Aと、残りの下部約1/3を占めるソケット部4Bから成る。ネジ端子部4Aは、圧着端子5を固定する端子ネジ6を備えた端子ネジ側ハウジング7と、端子ネジ6と螺合する螺合部10Aを形成した端子金具10を備えた端子金具側ハウジング8の二つからなる構造をもち、ソケット部4Bは、機器本体内の配線網に接続された、導電性受栓端子11をもったソケット部ハウジング9によって構成され、各ハウジングとも電気絶縁性のプラスチックで成形され、周囲から絶縁されている。端子金具側ハウジング8の基部8Aから下方に突出する、端子金具10の基台部10Bに垂設されたリ−ド片10Cの先端部10Dを受栓端子11に形成された対向する接触子11A間に挿入することにより、圧着端子5と受栓端子11とが導通状態になる。

ソケット部4Bは、図示しない機器本体に固定されており、ネジ端子部4Aの側面を手指で掴んで上方へ引き上げれば、端子台4のネジ端子部4Aをソケット部4Bから分離できる。こうして機器本体を、接続された導電線25の拘束から開放すれば、機器本体の移動その他の取り扱いが非常に容易となり、しかも、ハウジングの分離面に現れる導電性のリ−ド片10Cと接触子11Aは、それぞれのハウジングに形成された各二つの挿入部8B、8Cと受容部9B、9Cによって、遮蔽するように覆われているために、表面に露出せず、感電の危険は完全に回避されている。従ってここに挙げた分離型端子台では、能率向上と共に安全性にも優れた特徴を発揮する。ここで、圧着端子5は、端子台4とは別個の部材であるが、端子台の構造を説明する都合上、ここでは端子台構成部材の一部に含めて扱うことにする。

ネジ端子部4Aを構成するハウジングは、図2に示すように、端子ネジ側ハウジング7と端子金具側ハウジング8とで構成され、別個の成形部材として製作されるが、実施例で詳細に説明するように、組み立てて使用する。端子ネジ側ハウジング7の一方の側面部7Dには、導電線25端末に固定された圧着端子5を挿入するための導電栓端末挿入口30が、本体機能に必要な接続個数、側面部7Dに沿って設けられる。しかし開口個数に特に制限はなく、将来の機器機能の拡張を見込んで、若干数のスペアユニットを設定しておいてもよい。言うまでもなく圧着端子挿入口30の間には、圧着端子5の短絡を防ぐための絶縁部材として、端子ネジ側ハウジングの側面部材7Dによる仕切りを設けるのが好ましい。

端子ネジ側ハウジング7の上面部7Bには、圧着端子5を端子金具10の基台部10Bに圧接固定するために、端子ネジ6をドライバーにて回転操作するための操作口14が設けられている。ネジ軸線上の下方対向面には、端子ネジ6と螺合するネジ山をもった螺合部10Aが、端子金具側ハウジング8の支持部上面に設けられ、螺合部10Aを形成した基台部10Bを下側から支承する。圧着端子5には端子ネジ6が貫通可能な孔5Aが設けられており、端子ネジがドライバーで押圧されてまわされると端子ネジ6は、圧着端子5の孔5Aを貫通するとともに螺合部10Aと螺合し、圧着端子5と端子金具10を導通状態に保持する。

座金16には、ワッシャ15を介して該座金16の略正方形の座金部16Dに、端子ネジ6が自由であるが抜けないように設けられており、また座金16には図3に示すように、断面略長方形状の座金ア−ム16Cが設けられ、座金ア−ム16Cの先端両翼にはそれぞれ、座金ガイド部16Aとバネ押圧部16Bが一体に形成されている。ア−ム部を含む座金16は、端子ネジ操作口14より大きく、ア−ム部の片翼側先端の座金ガイド部16Aが、端子ネジ軸方向と平行に摺動変位させる座金案内溝7Aに拘束されているため、端子ネジ6を緩めた場合でも、端子ネジ6は端子ネジ操作口14から脱落することはない。座金ガイド部16Aは、矩形形状をしており、端子ネジの昇降に従って座金案内溝7Aに沿って上下移動するが、端子ネジ6と略同じ長さをもつているため、端子ネジ6と端子金具の螺合部10Aの固定を妨げるようなことはない。端子ネジ6が螺合部10Aに螺合された固定状態にある時は、端子ネジの頂部が上部端子ブロック上面部7Bから深く沈み、端子ネジ操作口14は指先に比べて十分に小さいため感電の恐れは全くなく、上面部7Bは端子ネジのストッパを兼ねたフィンガ−プロテクタ−の機能を備えている。なお座金部16Dの形状を略正方形にしたことにより、丸型の圧着端子やY字型の圧着端子のみならず、端末が裸導電線の状態でも確実な固定が可能でる。

座金ア−ム部16Bのもう一方の翼側先端のバネ押圧部16Bは、図3に示すように復帰用コイルバネ案内ロッド31が、端子ネジ側ハウジングの上面部7B下面から下方に向けて、端子ネジの軸方向と平行に、円筒形状の復帰用コイルバネ挿入孔7Cの略中心を貫いて、端子金具側ハウジングの基部8A上面まで伸びている。復帰用コイルバネ27は、復帰用コイルバネ案内ロッド31を中心にして挿入孔7C内に、軽く圧縮された状態で収容され、バネ下端部は端子金具側ハウジングの基部8A上面に、バネ上端部はバネ押圧部16B下面と接し、常に座金16を介して端子ネジ6を端子ネジ側ハウジング上面部7Bの下面に圧着するように作用する。このような端子ネジが上面部7B下面に圧着された状態では、端子ネジ先端と端子金具10上面との間に生じる間隙を利用して、圧着端子5の交換を行うことができるよう、使用される圧着端子の装着に必要な距離を保ことが必要であり、復帰用コイルバネの上昇位置への復帰作用は、この装着作業を軽便化する非常に有効な手段であり、図3に示したような座金ガイド部とバネ押圧部を並列に設ける構造は、座金ガイド部の長さを、端子ネジの長さ程度に短くすることができ、、全体の奥行き長さを大きくとる必要がなく、省スペ−ス化に有効である。

端子ネジ側ハウジングの端子ネジ操作口14に頂部が出ている端子ネジ6を、ドライバ等の適当な工具により、上から押しつけるようにして下降させると、座金ガイド部16Aとバネ押圧部16Bもそれにつれて下降し、復帰用コイルバネ27を初期の軽い圧縮状態から更に圧縮し、端子ネジ6を螺合部10Aに締めつけると、圧着端子5は座金部16Dと端子金具10の間に挟持、固定され、コイルバネの圧縮量は最大レベルに達し、この状態で本発明の分離型端子台4は、正常に端子台としての接続機能を発揮する。もし何らかの理由により、接続端子を外したり、交換するような必要が生じた場合には、端子ネジ6を緩めて螺合部材10Aから離すと、直ちに最大レベルにまで圧縮されていた復帰用コイルバネ27の復元力が働いて、端子ネジを図2に示す復帰位置にまで上昇させ、端子ネジ6の先端と端子金具10上面との間に圧着端子交換に十分な間隙が自動的に設けられる。そのため、圧着端子5の取り外し、挿入が簡単に行えるばかりでなく、端子ネジが常に略定位置に、略定姿勢で滞在するため、端子ネジを落としたり、探したり、扱い易い姿勢に直す必要もなく、そのまま直ちに再び降下、固定操作を極めて容易に効率的に行えるというメリットが得られる。

端子金具側ハウジング8の基部8Aから、上方に突出する二つの支持部8D、8Eは、その先端で端子金具10に形成された螺合部材10を、端子ネジ6の軸芯に合わせて固定する。螺合部10は、端子金具とではなく端子金具側ハウジング8と一体成形で作成してもよく、また、材質選定の自由度、加工の容易さ等から別体として作成し、端子金具側ハウジング8に接着、融着その他の任意の方法で固定してもよい。
端子金具側ハウジングの基部8Aから、上方に伸びる二つの支持部8D、8Eの先端には螺合部10Aを、端子ネジの軸芯に合わせて固定する。端子金具10の基台部10Bに垂設されたリ−ド片10Cの先端部10Dは、端子金具側ハウジングの基部8Aから下方に突出し、ソケット部ハウジング9に設けられた受栓端子11の対向する接触片11Aと係合して、端子台としての機能を発揮する。本発明の分離型端子台の特徴ある機能は、ネジ端子部とソケット部の容易な着脱によって発揮されるから、端子金具10は受栓端子11との脱着の際に受ける、引っ張り、圧縮、曲げ等多様の荷重が、繰り返し印加されるのに耐え得るよう堅牢にする必要がある関係で、端子金具の形状を図2に示すコ字型に屈曲した形状とし、端子金具側ハウジングの支持部8D、8Eとの接触面積を大きくとることが好ましい。端子金具側ハウジング8の基部8Aから下方に突出した端子金具のリ−ド片先端部10Dを、ソケット部から分離した場合の感電の危険や、取扱いの不備等によって生じる可能性のある衝撃、その他の傷害から保護するために、リ−ド片の先端部10Dを挟んで二つの挿入部8B、8Cを、リ−ド片の先端部10Dより高くなるよう設けてある。ここで重要なことは、これら挿入部8B、8Cの高さを、リ−ド片先端部12Aより高くすることで、保護遮蔽効果を確実にする。これらの挿入部材は、ネジ端子部とソケット部を結合する際の先導部材としても機能し、リ−ド片先端を確実に受栓端子11の二枚の接触子11A間に誘導する。

ソケット部ハウジング9の基部9Aから突出する二つの受容部9B、9Cは、その間隙に受栓端子11の接触子11A導電性接触片11をもち、接触片による感電事故の防止と接触片の機械的損傷に対する保護機能を果たす。従って、受容部9B、9Cの高さは、接触子11Aのそれより高いことが好ましく、この関係は、上述した挿入部8B、8Cのリ−ド片先端部12Aに対するものと、全く同様である。接触子11Aは、導電性の良好な弾性回復に富む一枚の平板状の金属材料を、折り重ねるように中心部で湾曲させ、図2に示すように、先端部分が互いに外側に開いた対称形状に形成したもので、その先端部分は受容部9B、9Cの面上の凹部に入りこんでいて、挿入されたリ−ド片先端部10Dを、相互に接触している対向面間に、確実に挟持する構造になっている。接触子11Aの下部はリード片11Bを介して本体各部位に連結され、ソケット部ハウジング9は、電気機器本体ケース26により、機器本体背部にネジ止め、接着その他任意の手段で固定される。

エンジニアリング・プラスチックの中でも、特に機械的強度・靱性が高く、耐電圧・電気絶縁性等の電気特性に優れた材料、例えばポリカ−ボネ−ト(PC)、ノリル樹脂(変性PPO)、ポリブチレンテレフタレ−ト(PBT)等により、それぞれ一体成形により作成された端子ネジ側ハウジング7、端子金具側ハウジング8、ソケット部ハウジング9の3個の成形品に、孔開け、切削等の機械加工を施した後、まず端子金具側ハウジング8に別途、端子金具10を固定する。端子金具10の固定は、屈曲した三つの面を端子金具側ハウジングの支持部8D、8Eの上面及び側面、、及び基部の貫通孔内面のいずれの部分にも、満遍なくしっかり固定するよう注意深く行う。

次に、ソケット部ハウジング9の二つの受容部9B、9Cに挟まれた間隙に、上方から黄銅製の接触子11Aを挿入し、その中央部を底面下方から挿入した受栓端子のリード片11Bと共に、基部9Aにネジ固定する。またソケット部ハウジング9の側面部9Dの外側で機器本体ケース26とネジ止め、接着等の任意の手段で固定する。固定部材21の材質はプラスチック、金属等が用いられる。

本発明の分離型端子台では、ネジ端子部とソケット部の嵌合は、ハウジング同士の嵌め合いと、導通部材の接合によって行われ、十分な固定効果を有するが、固定効果をより確実にするために、端子ブロックにソケット部を把持・固定する結合用レバ−部材を設けるのが好ましい。図5に示すように端子ネジ側ハウジング7の長手方向の両端等、ネジ端子部に側面部に、少なくとも一対の結合用レバ−部材を設ける。結合用レバ−部材は、通常一般に使用される構造のものでよく、例えばシャフト24で回転自由に固定された、先端にフック部32をもったレバ−23を設け、ネジ端子部をソケット部に挿入する時は、レバ−23の先端がソケット部ハウジング9の側面に沿って移動し、レバ−の対向部位に設けたソケット部の鉤状部33と嵌合しする構造が挙げられる。このような構造を設けることにより、使用中外れることは無く、安定した固定機能を発揮する。端子ブロックをソケット部から外す時は、レバ−23の上部を軽く押して、レバ−先端のフック部32をソケット部の鉤状部33から外せば、容易にネジ端子部7をソケット部9から取り外すことができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、次の諸効果が得られる。
(1)機器本体に結合された端子台を、ネジ端子部とソケット部の分割可能な構造にすることにより、本体を移動するような場合、接続された多数本の導電線を個々の結合点の全てを外すことなく、一度にワンタッチで分離することができ、取り外し工数を大幅に軽減することができ、導電線の再接続の必要がないため、結合ミスもなくなる。分離した部分に現れる結合端子は、絶縁性部材で遮蔽され、機械的にも保護されているので、露出による感電事故の心配も、また取り扱いミスその他による機械的な損傷事故に対しても安全に保護されている。
(2)ネジ端子部の下方に突出する挿入部は、ネジ端子部を、ソケット部に挿入する場合の先導部材としても機能し、ソケット部ハウジングに設けられた受容部面を摺動しつつ、リ−ド片を導電性接触片に接合させるため、両者の接合位置のずれによる導通不良や、無理な接合による損傷の発生もない。
(3)ネジ端子部から下方に突出する挿入部とソケット部ハウジングから上方に突出する受容部、およびリ−ド片と導電性接触片が接合することにより、両ブロックの嵌合は確保され、安定な導通機能が保持される。
(4)ネジ端子部に設けられたレバ−部材によりネジ端子部がソケット部に確実に結合し、長期に渡る振動、その他不慮の突発的な外力に対しても、十二分な安定性が確保され、端子台としての機能が維持される。
(5)圧着端子結合前には、端子ネジは復帰用コイルバネによって、端子ネジ側ハウジング上部の復帰位置に保持され、端子ネジ先端部の空隙に圧着端子を容易に挿入ることができ、逆に圧着端子を取り外す際には、端子ネジを緩めると、復帰用コイルバネの復元力によって、自動的に復帰位置に戻り、略定位置に定姿勢で保持されるので、次の圧着端子固定作業に素早く入れて効率的であるばかりでなく、端子ネジを落として電気配線を短絡させたり、紛失したり、小さな端子ネジを探したりするロスが省け、能率向上に寄与する。
