Claims (17)
- マイクロコイル脈管閉塞装置であって、複数の湾曲セグメントを備えかつ各湾曲セグメントが別々の軸線を規定する最低エネルギー状態二次形状にされるマイクロコイルからなり、当該装置は、その最低エネルギー状態形状において複数の軸線を規定し、各湾曲セグメントは閉ループセグメントであり、各閉ループセグメントは、時計回り湾曲ループと反時計回り湾曲ループとが各閉ループセグメントの順次の複数の軸線の周りに交互となる装置。
- 前記各湾曲セグメントは、ある面と、該面に実質上垂直な軸線とを規定する請求項1の装置。
- 前記複数の軸線は、実質上平行である請求項1の装置。
- 前記複数の軸線の各隣り合う組は鋭角をなす請求項1の装置。
- 前記湾曲セグメントは、実質的に接線で相互接続する請求項1の装置。
- 前記複数の軸線は、これらが交差する場合、隣り合う軸線間で約45度以下の角度をなす請求項1の装置。
- 前記湾曲セグメントは、実質的に接線で相互接続する請求項6の装置。
- 脈管閉塞装置であって、最低エネルギー状態二次形状にされるマイクロコイルからなり、最低エネルギー状態二次形状は、接線で相互接続する実質上円形の複数の閉ループからなり、各閉ループは、ある面と該面に実質上垂直な別々の軸線とを規定し、各実質上円形の閉ループは、時計回り実質上円形閉ループと反時計回り実質上円形閉ループとが各実質上円形閉ループの順次の複数の軸線の周りに交互となる装置。
- 前記閉ループの軸線は、実質上平行である請求項8の装置。
- 前記閉ループの各隣り合う組の軸線は鋭角をなす請求項8の装置
- 前記マイクロコイルは、バイメタルワイヤーから形成される請求項8の装置。
- 前記バイメタルワイヤーは、放射線不透過性金属と超弾性金属とを含む請求項11の装置。
- 脈管閉塞装置であって、細長い単繊維状の構成要素を備え、該構成要素の全長の少なくとも一部は、該単繊維状の構成要素が弛緩状態にある際、波状の形状を有し、該波状の形状は、一連の少なくとも三つの湾曲ループから構成され、該湾曲ループは、時計回り湾曲ループと反時計回り湾曲ループとが交互となり、各湾曲ループは別々の軸線を規定する装置。
- 前記単繊維状の構成要素はマイクロコイルを含む請求項13の装置。
- 前記単繊維状の構成要素の実質上全長は、該要素が弛緩状態にある際、波状の形状を有する請求項13の装置。
- 前記単繊維状の構成要素は、該要素が弛緩状態にある際、波状の形状を有する先端部を含む請求項13の装置。
- 前記単繊維状の構成要素は、送出装置から電解により取り外しできる基端部を有する請求項13の装置。
