本発明は歯科根管治療の根管充填にシステムに関するものである。

一般に、歯科根管治療の根管充填には、糊材、ガッタパーチャ、銀ポイント、化学重合樹脂、ジンクオキサイトセメントなどが単独あるいは併用使用されていたが、細い根管を死空無く完全に充填閉塞することは困難であるばかりか、各種根管充填剤は硬化するまでは組織に対して異害作用があり過剰根管充填によって組織内に漏洩あるいは突出した場合は、歯周組織に炎症反応を起こした。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前述の如く、微細で屈曲した根管に対してガッタパーチャを用いて死空無く加圧根管充填閉塞することは高度な技術と膨大な作業時間を要し、断面が円形のガッタパーチャマスターポイントとガッタパーチャアクセサリーポイントに化学重合樹脂、ジンクオキサイトセメントなどのシーラーを併用する場合、根尖よりシーラーが漏れ出ると歯周組織に炎症を起こした。さらに、根尖部分がガッタパーチャ自体によって機械的に閉塞されていない場合、シーラー硬化後も根尖周囲の組織液によって分解吸収されると根尖部に死空を形成することとなる。

本発明は、斯かる実情に鑑み、根管内で即時硬化し、根尖から根管充填剤が突出あるいは死空を形成することなく根管充填深度を容易に調節可能とし、さらに、根管充填材と根管内象牙質が接着することによって完全に根尖および根管壁を閉塞する根管充填材と根管充填システムを提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段および効果】
本発明は、一端に光源から発光される可視光線あるいは紫外線などの光を集光収束する集光樹脂を備えるプリズム部と、そのプリズム部他端が根管形成された根管に適合する適度な弾性を持つファイバー状に光拡散樹脂で成形されたポイント部が移行的に連結されたロート状形のマスターポイント部のプリズム部小口に可視光線あるいは紫外線を投光すると、光拡散樹脂で成形されたファイバー状のポイント部が均等に発光する。

このマスターポイントを使用して、感染歯髄、壊死歯髄あるいは感染象牙質を除去清掃し根管形成が終了した根管内壁にあらかじめ象牙質接着剤を塗布した根管内に光硬化樹脂を満たし、光拡散樹脂で成形された前記マスターポイントのファイバー状のポイント部を同根管根尖部まで挿入してプリズム部小口に可視光線あるいは紫外線を照射することによって根管口からでは光の到達しにくい根尖部まで光硬化樹脂および象牙質接着剤を光重合するのでモノマーを残留させることなく根管を物理的に完全に閉塞することが可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図示例と共に説明する。
図1〜図6は発明を実施する形態の一例であって、図中、図と同一の符号を付した部分は同一物を表わしており、基本的な構成は図4から図6に示す従来の根管充填と同様であるが、本図示例の特徴とするところは、図1に示す如く、歯科根管治療根管充填時に光重合器光源部8の発光する可視光線あるいは紫外線を重合器光ファイバー部9でマスターポイント10に照射することによって、このマスターポイント10は図2と図3に示すようにマスターポイントロート形状部2で一端のマスターポイント集光プリズム部1と他端のマスターポイント光拡散樹脂ファイバー状ポイント部3が移行的に一体成型あるいは連結されているので、重合器から照射された光はマスターポイント光拡散樹脂ファイバー状ポイント部3全周から発光し、細い根管内の隅々まで光を到達させ象牙質接着剤5と光硬化樹脂6を光重合せしめる事を可能とした点にある。

次に、上記図示例の治療手順を説明する。
治療は図4に示すように感染歯髄、壊死歯髄あるいは感染象牙質を除去清掃し根管形成が終了した根管内壁にあらかじめペーパーポイント4などを用いて象牙質接着剤5を塗布する。次に、図5に示すように根管口13から根尖口14まで光硬化樹脂6を注入した根管にマスターポイント光拡散樹脂ファイバー状ポイント部3が根尖口14まで到達するようにマスターポイントを根管内に挿入しマスターポイント集光プリズム部1に光を照射し象牙質接着剤5と光硬化樹脂6を重合する。最後に、図6に示すように重合した光硬化樹脂6と化学的に結合したマスターポイント光拡散樹脂ファイバー状ポイント部3を根管内に残してマスターポイントロート形状部2とマスターポイント集光プリズム部1をマスターポイント切断面7で削り取り根管充填を完了する。
