Description
【0001】

The present invention relates to a coater device for continuously producing processed paper or the like obtained by directly applying a heat-sensitive paint or the like to the surface of a tape-like base paper.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, processed paper such as thermal paper is manufactured by a coater device (DF coater ( Direct-Fountain-Coater ) device) as shown in FIG.
[0003]
As shown in the figure, this coater device includes a feeding roll 1 around which a tape-shaped base paper B is wound, a winding roller 2 for winding up the base paper B fed from the feeding roll 1, and the feeding roll 1 and the winding roll. The coating roller 2 is mainly composed of a pair of
[0004]
In addition, since the transport speed (flow speed) of the base paper B is transported at a high speed of about 1000 m / min in order to increase the manufacturing efficiency of the processed paper, the surface of the base paper B is directed toward the downstream side. A flowing entrained air flow A may be generated, and as a result, the coating film L may be greatly disturbed to prevent good coating, and the quality of the processed paper may be deteriorated.
[0005]
Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, a plate-like blade 6 is provided on the upstream side of the base paper B coating portion P, and the lower end of the blade 6 is pushed onto the upper surface of the base paper B as the coating surface. The entrained air flow A generated at least on the upper surface of the base paper B is cut off.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of the method of pressing the blade 6 against the upper surface of the base paper B as described above, depending on the quality of the base paper B, the blade 6 and the base paper B rub against each other as shown in FIG. There is a problem that powder is generated and scattered and mixed in the coating film L to disturb the coating film L or adversely affect its properties.
[0007]
On the other hand, if the gap between the blade 6 and the base paper B is sufficiently small, the entrained air flow A is sufficiently suppressed even in a non-contact state. Since the base paper B is compressed in the above-described manner and acts to push down the base paper B, the base paper B may wave up and down on the downstream side starting from the blade 6, resulting in a problem that the coating is adversely affected. It was.
[0008]
Therefore, the present invention has been devised in order to effectively solve such problems, and its purpose is to reliably block the entrained air flow generated on the surface of the base paper and to generate paper dust and the like. It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel coater device that can suppress inconveniences.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention for solving the aforementioned problems is a coater apparatus for coating flows down continuously in a film shape to coating solution on a tape like base sheet upper surface flowing substantially horizontally, the surface of the base paper An air cut member is provided on the upstream side of the application location of the coating liquid to block the entrained air flow that is generated , and the air cut member is positioned so as to sandwich the base paper from above and below in a non-contact manner. And a wedge-shaped cavity with a cross section wedge-shaped cavity with the upstream side of the base paper as the base and the downstream side as the apex on the base paper side surface of each of the air cut bodies. And a plurality of such cavities are arranged in the length direction of the base paper .
[0010]
With this configuration, the entrained air flow generated as the base paper is conveyed is effectively blocked by the cavities, and the entrained air is compressed at the tips of the cavities so that the base paper is made like an air bearing. Since it is held in a non-contact state from above and below, paper dust W generated by contact with the base paper can be prevented in advance, and at the same time, the wave motion of the base paper B can be effectively suppressed.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, a preferred embodiment for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

However, the flow rate and flow velocity of the entrained air flow A are not always constant at the top and bottom of the base paper B, and vary to some extent. Therefore, when only one cavity is provided, the base paper B is caused by the fluctuation. It can be thought that moves in a manner that wiggles up and down. For this reason, it is desirable to form the number of cavities 9 as many as possible. By doing so, even when the base paper B undulates up and down in the upstream cavity 9, the waves gradually move in the downstream cavity. It is because it will be suppressed by.

On the other hand, it is conceivable that a new entrained air flow is generated along with the flow of the base paper B on the downstream side of the

【The invention's effect】
In short, according to the present invention, the following excellent effects can be exhibited.
[0027]
(1) Since the entrained air flow that occurs when the base paper is transported can be effectively blocked (air cut), it is possible to reliably prevent adverse effects on the coating film caused by the entrained air flow. .
[0028]
(2) Since the base paper can be held in a non-contact state like an air bearing, the generation of paper dust due to contact with the base paper can be suppressed in advance.
[0029]
(3) Since the wave motion of the base paper can be effectively suppressed at the same time, good coating can be performed.
[0030]
(4) Therefore, due to the above effects, it is possible to easily obtain a high-quality processed paper free from coating unevenness and property deterioration.
[0031]
(5) In addition, the air-cut member used in the coater device of the present invention has no effect on the configuration of the coating unit, the transport position of the base paper, etc., and can be used as it is in an existing coater device. Versatility and economy.
