本発明は、送風機を用いて揮散性薬剤を気中に放出する送風式薬剤放散装置に関し、さらに詳しくは、一度使用した後に使用を中止した休止時に揮散性薬剤が自然に気中に放出することを防止できる送風式薬剤放散装置に関する。

特許文献1に、吸い込み口と吐き出し口を有する装置本体と、この装置本体内に設けた送風機と、揮散性薬剤を備え、送風機を駆動することで揮散性薬剤に送風して揮散性薬剤を吐き出し口から気中に放出する送風式薬剤放散装置が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特許文献1に開示された送風式薬剤放散装置は、揮散性薬剤を装置本体にセットし、送風機を駆動して使用している際に、送風機を停止して使用を中止した休止時には揮散性薬剤が吸い込み口、吐き出し口から気中に連通するので、揮散性薬剤が自然に気中に放出されることを防止できない。
このために、休止期間中に揮散性薬剤が順次気中に放出されて減少し、無駄である。

前述のことを解消するには、特許文献2に開示されたように、装置本体の吸い込み口と吐き出し口に蓋を設け、使用時には蓋を開放して空気が装置本体内に流通するようにし、休止時には蓋を閉塞して空気が装置本体内に流通しないようにすることが考えられる。

しかし、前述のようにすると、蓋を設けなければならず、部品点数が多くコストが高くなる。

第1の発明は、容器設置部5を有する装置本体1と、この装置本体1に設けた送風機2と、前記容器設置部5に着脱自在に設置される薬剤収納容器3と、この薬剤収納容器3内に収納した揮散性薬剤4を備え、

【発明の実施の形態】
図1に示すように、装置本体1と、この装置本体1に設けた送風機2と、薬剤収納容器3と、この薬剤収納容器3内に収納した揮散性薬剤4で送風式薬剤放散装置を構成している。
前記装置本体1は容器設置部5を有し、この容器設置部5は容器挿入口6と第1開口部7と第2開口部8を有する空間である。これに限ることはなく第1・第2開口部7,8と直角方向の2面が開口した形状でも良いし、左右から挿入する形状でも良い。
前記送風機2はファン2aとモータ2bを備え、そのモータ2bでファン2aを駆動することで前記第1開口部7と第2開口部8とに亘って空気が流通するようにしてある。

前記薬剤収納容器3は、前記容器設置部5に表裏反転して設置可能で、その表面3aに第1通気部9が形成され、裏面3bに第2通気部10が形成してある。この第1・第2通気部9,10と前記第1・第2開口部7,8は、図1に示すように薬剤収納容器3を容器設置部5に、その表面3aが第1開口部7側と対向した第1の状態で設置すると第1開口部7と第1通気部9が連通し、かつ第2開口部8と第2通気部10が連通し、この薬剤収納容器3を表裏反転して容器設置部5に、図2に示すように、その裏面3bが第1開口部7側と対向した第2の状態で設置すると第1・第2通気部9,10が容器設置部5でそれぞれ閉塞されるようにしてある。

次に、各部の具体形状の一例を説明するが、これに限ることはない。
前記装置本体1は図1と図3に示すように、一側縦壁11と他側縦壁12と中間縦壁13と一端縦壁14と他端縦壁15と上壁16と下壁17で第1中空部1aと第2中空部1bを有する箱形状で、上壁16の第1中空部1aと対向した部分を切欠きして前記容器挿入口6とすることで、その第1中空部1aを容器設置部5としている。
前記一側縦壁11の上部寄りに第1開口部7を形成し、中間縦壁13の下部寄りに第2開口部8を形成してある。
この第2開口部8で第1中空部1a(容器設置部5)と第2中空部1bが連通し、その第2中空部1b内に送風機2が取付けてある。前記上壁16に第3開口部18が形成され、送風機2を駆動することで第2中空部1b内に空気が流通するようにしてある。

前記薬剤収納容器3は図4(a),(b)に示すように、表面板20と裏面板21と周面板22で中空形状で、図1に示すように、その中空部に揮散性薬剤4が収納してある。

前記薬剤収納容器3を表裏反転して図2に示すように第2の状態で設置すると、第2通気部10が下方位置となり、第1開口部7が上方位置であるから、第2通気部10が一側縦壁11の下部寄りで閉塞され、第1通気部9が上方位置となり、第2開口部8が下方位置であるから第1通気部9が中間縦壁13の上部寄りで閉塞される。

前記表面板21のほぼ下半分に、第2通気部10がほぼ下向き半円形状、つまり前述の第2開口部8の外周形状と同一形状に形成してある。

このようであるから、第1通気部9、第2通気部10の開口面積が表面板20、裏面板21(表面3a、裏面3b)の面積のほぼ半分で、空気をスムーズに流通することができる。
この実施の形態では、第1・第2通気部9,10をほぼ半円形スリット状の穴9a,10aを同心状に複数形成してある。
これは、揮散性薬剤4を粒状、好ましくは球状の薬剤含浸体4aに含浸させ、その薬剤含浸体4aを直接薬剤収納体3内部に収納したので、その薬剤含浸体4aがこぼれ落ちないようにするためであって、前述の薬剤含浸体4aを網袋などの通気性袋に入れて収納した場合には第1・第2通気口9,10を連続した半円形状とすることができる。前述の粒状の薬剤含浸体4aの他に、貫通孔を有するハニカム状、格子状など構造体を薬剤含浸体として用いることができる。

なお、第1・第2開口部7,8を左右向き(一端縦壁13、他端縦壁14に向かう)のほぼ半円形状とし、第1・第2通気部9,10も同様に左右向きのほぼ半円形状としても良い。つまり、非対称位置にそれぞれ形成すれば良い。
また、第1・第2開口部7,8、第1・第2通気部9,10は、ほぼ矩形状、ほぼ三角形状など、その形状は任意とすることができる。例えば、装置本体1の上壁16を平板状として表面板11、裏面板12の上部を矩形状で、薬剤収納容器3の周面板22を矩形状とし、第1・第2開口部7,8、第1・第2通気部9,10をほぼ矩形状としても良い。

また、薬剤収納容器3を第2の状態で設置すると、その第1・第2通気部9,10が閉塞されるので、休止期間中に揮散性薬剤4が気中に自然に放出されることを防止できる。
また、薬剤収納容器3を第1の状態と第2の状態に表裏反転して設置すれば良く、他の部材を設ける必要がないから、コストの安い送風式薬剤放散装置である。
