本発明は、フェルト等からなる塗布ヘッドに容器内の内容物を染み込ませて塗布する塗布栓に関するものであり、容器の反転状態での液だれを確実に防止しようとするものである。

【従来の技術】
痒み止め液等の薬剤やガラスの曇り止め液等を充填する容器は、その口部にフェルト等からなる塗布ヘッドを組み込んだ塗布栓が装着されていて、容器のスクイズによって該塗布ヘッドに液体を染み込ませ、それを直接塗布対象面に接触させて塗布する構造になっている。

ところで、かかる塗布栓は、容器の保管時には該塗布ヘッドを覆い隠すキャップを取り付けるのが普通であるのでとくに問題はないものの、キャップを取り外した状態では容器を反転しただけで内容物が排出されるため、塗布ヘッドにおける吸収能が飽和状態にあるとき、内容物が塗布ヘッドから滴り落ちることもあり、その解決が望まれていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の課題は、容器の反転姿勢においても液だれを起こすことのない使い勝手のよい新規な塗布ヘッドを提案するところにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、容器の口部に固定保持され該容器内に通じる開口を有するキャップベースと、このキャップベースの開口を通して排出された内容物を染み込ませてそれを直接塗布面に接触させて内容物を塗布する塗布ヘッドを有する塗布栓であって、
前記キャップベースに、その表面で塗布ヘッドを保持しその背面でキャップベースに回動自在に合わさる塗布ヘッド皿を設け、
該塗布ヘッド皿は、均等に分散配置させて塗布ヘッドの全域にわたる内容物の均等な染み込みを可能とする複数の排出口を有する底壁と、この底壁と一体的に設けられた環状壁からなり、
該塗布ヘッド皿の底壁の背面に、該排出口を含むように設けられ、塗布ヘッド皿をキャップベースの所定位置まで回動させたときにキャップベースの開口から該排出口に向けて内容物を流す誘導路を形成する溝部を設けたことを特徴とする塗布栓である。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を用いて本発明をより具体的に説明する。

図1(a)(b)は本発明に従う塗布栓の実施の形態を示したものであり、(a)は平面を、(b)は側面をそれぞれ示したものである。

図1において1は内容物を収納する容器、2は容器1の口部に固定保持されるキャップベースである。このキャップベース2は容器1内に通じる開口2aを有する。

また、3は内容物を染み込ませてそれを直接塗布面に接触させて該内容物を塗布する塗布ヘッド(フェルト、スポンジ等の気泡構造体または焼結体等を用いる)、4はその表面で塗布ヘッド3を保持しその背面でキャップベース2に回動自在に合わさる塗布ヘッド皿である。塗布ヘッド皿4は複数の排出口hを均等に分散配置させた底壁4aとこれに一体的に設けられ塗布ヘッド3の脱落防止を図る係止片kを有する環状壁4bからなっていて、所定位置に回動させることで排出口hがキャップベース2の開口2aに連通するようになっている。

5は塗布ヘッド皿4の背面において図2に示すように排出口hを含むように設けられた溝部であり、この溝部5は塗布ヘッド皿4をキャップベース2の所定位置まで回動させたときに開口2aから排出口hに向けて内容物を流す誘導路を形成する。

上掲図1に示したところにおいて、キャップベース2と塗布ヘッド皿4の排出口hはつながっておらず、この状態でキャップ6を取り外して容器1を反転しても内容物が塗布ヘッド3を通して染み込むことはなく液だれは生じない。

内容物を塗布すべく、塗布ヘッド皿4を回動させ図3(a)(b)に示すごとくキャップベース2の開口2aと塗布ヘッド皿4の背面に設けた溝部5に一致させると排出口hと開口2aが溝部5にて区画された誘導路を介して連通することとなり塗布ヘッド3の全域で内容物を均等に染み込ませることが可能になる。

容器1内の内容物を排出するに当たっては、例えば図2に示すように塗布ヘッド皿4の背面の縁部に凸部7を設けておき、塗布ヘッド皿4の回動に際して該凸部7をキャップベース2に予め設けた凸部8(図1b参照)に突き当たてることにより位置合わせを行うことができる。

また、図示はしないが内容物の排出が可能であるか不可能であるかを外部から視覚で確認することができるように、塗布ヘッド皿4の外周及びキャップベース2の外周にそれぞれ「開」「閉」等の位置合わせマークを設けてもよい。さらに、上記同様、図示はしないが、開閉状態を感触でも感知できるように突き当て凸部7、8の何れか一方について、その両端部に回動時にもう一方の凸部を乗り越えることができる小突起を設けるようにしてもよい。小突起を設けた構造においては、開閉時に一方の凸部と小突起との間にもう9一方の凸部が位置することになるので開状態あるいは閉状態が確実にホールドされることになる。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、キャップを装着しない状態でも、キャップベースの開口を閉塞状態に維持できるので、容器を反転しても液だれを起こすことはなく、使い勝手が著しく改善される。
