従来、マンホールの側面孔に外側から推進工法、開削工法などによって流水管端を嵌入し、水封止する作業はマンホールの外側に鋼矢板の囲み打ちによる立坑を設けて行ってきたが、作業の安全対策上と交通対策上および工費の低廉化のためにマンホール内にて行う傾向にある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、流水管端は設計通りではなく左右に芯ずれして側面孔に到達することが多く生じ、従って側面孔に嵌入させることが容易でないという課題があった。またマンホールの内部で嵌入した流水管端の外周面にゴム輪端をバンド止めして締付けして水封止する作業は困難であるという課題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、マンホールの側壁に流水管の芯ずれ嵌入を許容する予備間隙を両側に拡げ設けた側面孔を形成し、且つ金属筒部分の内面に1乃至数本のゴム輪を周着してなる内付け用の金属製取付板を有す金属筒継手を形成し、マンホールの側面孔に流水管端が左右に芯ずれして嵌入した後、該金属筒継手を側面孔の内側から内付けして、金属筒部分に流水管端を通し、該金属筒部分の内面に周着したゴム輪を該流水管端の外周面に圧着し水封止するようにし、該側面孔と金属筒部分の間の間隙をセメントモルタル等の充填材の充填にて閉塞するようにして、かかる課題を解決するようにしたのである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1(a)(b)に示すように内付け用の金属製取付板1の円形中ぐり部2より外側に向けて金属筒3を溶接取付けする。図2に示すように金属筒3の内面に平行する2本一組づつにてなる丸鋼リング6を1乃至数組にて溶接取付けして接着剤を外周面に塗布した1乃至数本のゴム輪7を丸鋼リング6間に嵌込み接着する要領にて、ゴム輪付きの金属筒継手8とする。

図3に示すようにマンホール4の側面孔5に流水管端9が側面孔5に嵌入した後、流水管端9を通す要領にてマンホール4内から側面孔5に金属筒継手8を嵌付け、アンカーボルト10止めして内付けする。図4に示すように側面孔5は左右に予備間隙5aを有せしめて形成しており、また金属筒3の径も流水管端9の径より大きく形成しているので図5(b)(c)に示すように外方から流水管端9が芯ずれしてきても側面孔5および金属筒継手8はこれを許容して受入れ嵌入することができる。なお金属製取付板1には縦割れ溝1aを形成しているので、取付位置が左右に多少ずれてもマンホール4の内壁のR形状に追従して隙間なく密着取付けすることができる。金属筒3は側面孔5に嵌入し、ゴム輪7の内周面は流水管端9の外周面に圧接して水封止することとなる。なお図中11は予備間隙5aと金属筒3と側面孔5間の間隙を閉塞するセメントモルタル等の充填材、12は水膨張性シール材である。

図6乃至図7は金属筒3の長さを側面孔4の厚み以内に形成した他の例を示すものである。かくすることによりマンホール4の外側が狭く余裕のないときにも継手8を支障なく取付けることができることとなる。なお丸鋼リング6およびゴム輪7は前記直線形のほか、図6に示すように円曲形としたり、図7に示すように直線形と円曲形とを組合わせて取付けることもある。

【発明の効果】
本発明はマンホールの側面孔の両側に予備間隙を拡げ設けたので、推進,開削の両工法ともマンホールの外側に立坑を設けることなくして流水管端の芯ずれを許容して容易に側面孔内に嵌入させることができ、しかも金属筒継手を金属筒部分の内面にあらかじめゴム輪を周着して形成したので、流水管端の側面孔内嵌入後にマンホールの内側から該継手を嵌付けることでゴム輪を流水管端に圧着させることができて、マンホール内での作業を容易にするという効果を生ずる。
