[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a tennis racket, and in particular, allows the rigidity of the tennis racket frame to be changed without impairing the strength of the gut stretcher provided with a gut hole.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In conventional tennis racket frames, as shown in FIGS. 17 (A) and 17 (B), a recess called a

However, in the tennis racket frame, as shown in FIGS. 18A and 19, in order to prevent damage to the frame body, a bumper (protective material) 6 is provided on the outer surface of the
[0005]
As an example in which no rack groove is provided in the racket frame, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-51409, a gut groove has been provided in the top part of the
[0006]
Further, in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2648814, as shown in FIG. 21, the outer
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the gut groove is provided in the top portion and the both sides are provided with flat surfaces or shallow gut grooves, the strength of the gut stretched portion is different depending on the presence or absence of the gut groove, and the portion with weak strength is unevenly distributed. Become. That is, when the strength of the gut stretched portion according to the presence or absence of the gut groove is measured, it has been found that the portion without the gut groove has only 70% strength of the portion provided with the gut groove. Therefore, there is a problem that the strength of both side portions of the gut stretch portion becomes weak.
[0008]
Moreover, when the gut groove is not provided over the entire circumference of the gut stretch portion described later, there is a problem that the strength of the gut stretch portion as a whole is reduced as compared with the case where the gut groove is provided. As described above, when the strength of the gut stretch portion is reduced, damage such as depression of a gut hole or communication between adjacent gut holes tends to occur.
[0009]
In order to increase the strength of the gut stretcher, there is a method of increasing the amount of reinforcing fibers arranged at an angle of 90 degrees in the circumferential direction in a portion where no gut hole is provided. However, increasing the amount of reinforcing fibers increases the weight of the racket frame. There is a strong demand for weight reduction in the racket frame. Therefore, it is a problem to compensate for a decrease in strength caused by not providing a gut groove by increasing the amount of reinforcing fibers.
[0010]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and does not lower the strength of the gut stretched portion than when flattened without providing a gut groove, and does not impair the strength of the gut stretched portion. It is an object of the present invention to improve the shape of the suspending portion, and thus to change the rigidity of the racket frame by changing the shape of the gut suspending portion as in the conventional example.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To solve the above problem,As the first invention,Molded with a matrix resin made of carbon fiber and nylon resin or epoxy resin.Gut tension part that surrounds the face of the racket frameIs a hollow shape having an outer peripheral portion and an inner peripheral portion opposed to each other in the thickness direction in which a gut hole is provided, and a continuous portion continuous with both ends of the inner and outer peripheral portion,The outer periphery of the gut stretcherProjecting in an arc shape toward the outside at the center in the thickness direction onlyProtruding ridges are provided in the protruding ridges, and the gut holes are provided along the outer peripheral surface of the gut stretcher.GProvides a tennis racket configured to come into contact with the convex mountain portion.
As a second invention, a gut stretch portion surrounding a face surface of a racket frame formed using a matrix resin made of carbon fiber and nylon resin or epoxy resin as a material includes an outer peripheral portion facing the thickness direction in which a gut hole is provided. With a hollow shape having an inner peripheral part and a continuous part continuous with both ends of the inner and outer peripheral part,
When the top position is 12 o'clock when the face surface is viewed as a clock face, the outer peripheral portion has a central portion in the thickness direction from the top of the gut stretch section to the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions on both sides. Convex ridges projecting in an arc shape toward the outside are formed continuously or discontinuously in the above range, and the gutt holes are provided in the ridges at a required interval, and the gutt stretch part is formed through the gusset holes. A gut along the outer peripheral surface of the
Provided is a tennis racket in which a gut groove formed of a concave portion is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the gut stretched portion other than the convex mountain portion provided, and a gut hole is provided in the groove bottom surface at the position where the gut groove is provided. is doing.
As a third invention, a gut stretch portion surrounding a face surface of a racket frame formed by using a matrix resin made of carbon fiber and nylon resin or epoxy resin, and an outer peripheral portion facing a thickness direction in which a gut hole is provided With a hollow shape having an inner peripheral part and a continuous part continuous with both ends of the inner and outer peripheral part,
A convexity projecting in an arc shape toward the outside is provided at the central portion in the thickness direction of the outer peripheral surface at a position where the strength of the gut tension portion is insufficient, and the gut is provided with a required interval in the convexity. Providing a hole, and a gut along the outer peripheral surface of the gut stretch part through the gut hole abuts on the convex mountain part; and
Provided is a tennis racket in which a gut groove formed of a concave portion is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the gut stretched portion other than the convex mountain portion provided, and a gut hole is provided in the groove bottom surface at the position where the gut groove is provided. is doing.
[0012]
That is, in the present invention, conventionallyIn the required area of the gut stretcher,Instead of providing a recess to be a gut groove, a convex mountain portion is provided, a gut hole is provided in the convex mountain portion, and the gut stretched through the gut hole is convex in the portion passing through the outer peripheral surface of the gut stretch portion. It is designed to be placed in contact with the mountain.
[0013]
When the present inventor has made a gut hole in a guide groove made of a conventional recess and stretched the gut, when the gut hole is made in a flat surface and the gut is stretched, the gut hole is made in the convex mountain portion of the present invention. As a result of experimenting on the strength of the gut stretcher in three cases when the gut is stretched, the gut force applied to the ridge can be dispersed when a gut hole is drilled in the ridge. It was confirmed that the strength of the tension part was the highest.
[0014]
That is, the dispersion of the force applied to the
[0015]
Further, when the convex mountain portion is provided in the gut stretch portion, the cross-sectional secondary moment changes, so that the rigidity of the racket frame can be changed.
That is, as shown in FIG. 23, when the thickness of the
[0016]
Therefore, simply, if the depth of the concave portion that becomes the gut groove is the same as the height of the convex mountain portion, (b) in the above formula becomes large, and the sectional moment of inertia is larger in the convex mountain portion than in the concave portion. And rigidity increases. And the rigidity can be enlarged, so that the height of a convex mountain part is enlarged. However, if the convexity is made higher, the cross-sectional circumference of the gut stretcher becomes larger, the amount of reinforcing fibers used increases, which causes an increase in weight, the appearance becomes distorted, and the metal used to mold the racket frame The shape of the mold becomes complicated, and the mold production cost increases.
[0017]
It is preferable that the contour shape in the cross section of the convex ridge part is formed with a radius of curvature radius R of 3 mm to 20 mm.
[0018]
The diameter of the gut is generally 1.1 mm to 1.4 mm, and the gut hole has a radius of about 2 mm (diameter about 4 mm). The grommet is fitted into the gut hole, and the gut is passed through the grommet. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3 (B), when the arc-shaped
Further, if the height of the convex mountain portion is made the same, the larger the radius R of the convex mountain portion, the larger the dimension (h), so that the second moment of section becomes larger and the rigidity becomes higher.
[0019]
Moreover, the base outer diameter W of the
As described above, the base outer diameter W is set to 6 mm or more and 40 mm or less. When the base outer diameter W is less than 6 mm, there are few protruding portions, and the effect of dispersing the force applied by the gut becomes small. On the other hand, if it exceeds 40 mm, it may be larger than the thickness h of the
[0020]
The height T of the
[0021]
Also,In the second invention,If the top position is 12 o'clock when the face surface is viewed as a clock face, the convex ridges are continuous or discontinuous within the above range from the top of the gut stretch section to the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions on the left and right sides. In the portion where the convex mountain portion is formed, a gap hole is provided in the convex mountain portion with a required interval.
Depending on the shape and configuration of the racket frame, the position where insufficient strength occurs varies and is not specified., ConvexThe position to increase the rigidity by providing a mountain is limitedAbsent.
Therefore, in the third invention,Protruding ridges at positions where insufficient strength occursYes.
GaWhen it is desired to increase the overall rigidity of the tension member, it is preferable to provide convex ridges continuously from the top to the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions on both the left and right sides. In addition, when it is desired to increase the rigidity of only the top portion, it is preferable to provide convex ridges continuously from the top to the 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock positions on both the left and right sides. Furthermore, when it is desired to increase the rigidity of the side portion, it is preferable to provide convexity portions at 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock to 10 o'clock on both the left and right sides. The portions other than those provided with the convex mountain portions are gut grooves formed of concave portions.
[0022]
Moreover, you may make the convex-ridge part formed continuously change the curvature radius R and the base outer diameter W, and to make it continuous. Thus, if the shape of a convex mountain part is changed, the rigidity of a gut stretch part can be changed in each part.
[0023]
As described above, the shape of the convex mountain portion is selected by selecting a curvature radius R that is possible depending on the cross-sectional shape of the gut stretch portion of the racket frame and a dimension W of 6 mm or more, and adjusting the height of the convex mountain portion. The rigidity of the racket can be adjusted in accordance with the design without impairing the strength of the gut stretcher. In other words, in order to increase the rigidity of the racket, it is not necessary to increase the amount of reinforcing fiber that reinforces the gut stretcher provided with the gut hole, and the rigidity can be increased while reducing the weight of the racket.
[0024]
The tennis racket of the present inventionThe mothOn the outer peripheral surface of the tension unit,In the same way as in the past, theA gut hole is provided in the bottom of the gut groove.ing.
AndIf the gut along the outer circumferential surface of the gut stretcher through the gut hole is not protected by a bumper, it will be easily damaged by hitting the racket directly against the ground, so it is preferable to attach the bumper.

Next, after setting a tube in which the blade was wound in the cavity of the mold, a yoke member in which a carbon fiber blade was wound around a core made of urethane foam was set in the yoke portion of the cavity. In this state, the mold was clamped. Next, nitrogen gas is passed through the tube to 7 kgf / mm.2In this state, the mold was heated to 150 ° C., and the cavity was filled with nylon RIM raw material (UX-75, manufactured by Ube Industries) to perform reaction injection molding. Specifically, the A liquid containing the catalyst and the B liquid containing the initiator were mixed at a ratio of 1: 1 and charged in the cavity to react. After holding for 1 minute and 30 seconds, the mold was cooled to 50 ° C., then the mold was opened, and the molded product (racquet frame) was taken out.

[0045]
The top pressure rigidity test of the racket frame was performed by the method shown in FIG. That is, the racket frame 1 without a gut is arranged in the vertical direction with the top P1 as the upper end, and both sides thereof are fixed with the fixing
[0046]
A side pressure stiffness test of the racket frame was performed by the method shown in FIG. That is, the racket frame 1 that is not stretched is set in a sideways state, and one side of the side of the gut suspension is placed on the base, and the upper side is positioned at the 3 o'clock position on the side. A load of 80 kg was applied. The amount of displacement of the racket frame at that time was measured, and the spring constant was calculated. The results were as shown in Table 1 below.
[0047]
The weight of the racket row frame was measured. That is, after molding, the weight was measured in a state where no coating was applied and no accessories such as grommets and grip leather were attached. The results were as shown in Table 1 below.
[0048]
[Table 1]
[0049]
As shown in the strength of the gut stretcher in Table 1, the strength is 46 kg to 54 kg when the convexity is provided (when the convexity is provided at the top and 3 o'clock of Example 1 to Example 6). Met. On the other hand, when the gut groove of Comparative Example 1 is provided and when the flat of Comparative Example 2 is used, the strength is 45 to 32 kg, and it is confirmed that the strength is greater when the convex portion is provided. did it. Moreover, in Example 7, since the convex part was provided in the top, intensity | strength was 50 kg, whereas intensity | strength was 45 kg in the 3 o'clock position which provided the gut groove. Further, in Example 8, the strength was 51 kg at the 3 o'clock position where the convex portion was provided, whereas the strength was 44 kg at the top position where the gut groove was provided. Also from this result, it was confirmed that the strength provided by the protrusions was higher than that of the gut groove.
[0050]
In addition, Example 2 in which the height of the convex ridge portion is low and Examples 5 and 6 in which the curvature of the convex ridge portion is large and the convex ridge is almost flat are compared with the other Examples 1, 3, and 4. In addition, the strength was slightly reduced, and it was confirmed that the convex mountain portion preferably had the shape shown in Example 4.
[0051]
Furthermore, in Example 2 and Example 6, the top pressure rigidity and the side pressure rigidity are slightly reduced. As described above, when the top pressure rigidity and the side pressure rigidity are slightly reduced, the holdability of the ball is increased and the feel at impact is softened, and thus a suitable racket is obtained when a soft feel at impact is desired.
[0052]
Furthermore, from Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2, it was also found that the strength was greater when the gut groove was provided than when it was flat.
[0053]
Regarding the top pressure rigidity, Examples 1 to 7 in which a convex portion was provided on the top portion were 153 to 248 kg / cm, whereas Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were 146 to 136 kg / cm. It was confirmed that the peak pressure rigidity can be increased by providing the ridges. In Example 7, the convex portion is provided only on the top portion side, and the convex portion is not provided on the side portion at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. It was confirmed that the racket had better rebound performance at the top.
[0054]
Regarding the side pressure rigidity, Examples 1 to 6 and Example 8 in which convex portions were provided on the side portions at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock were 67 to 120 kg / cm, whereas Comparative Example 2 was 65 kg. It was confirmed that the lateral pressure rigidity could be increased by providing a convex ridge. In Example 8, the convex portion is provided only on the side portion side, and the convex portion is not provided on the top portion, but the side pressure rigidity is larger than those of Comparative Examples 1 and 2, and the deformation of the side portion is suppressed, and the controllability is increased. Was confirmed to be a good racket.
[0055]
Further, the weight of the low frame is 213 g or less in Examples 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8, whereas the weight of the comparative example 1 is 213 g. It was confirmed that the weight did not increase as compared with the case where a groove was provided. Therefore, it has been confirmed that the strength and rigidity can be improved without increasing the weight.
[0056]
In addition, although the said Example 1 thru | or Example 8 all consist of rim nylon which carried out reaction injection molding, the molding material of a racket flat is not limited to rim nylon, It can apply also when using epoxy as a matrix resin.
[0057]
In the racket frame of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 17, it is preferable that a

【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, since the convex mountain portion is provided in the portion where the gut hole is provided in the outer peripheral surface of the gut stretch portion, the gut along the outer peripheral surface of the gut stretch portion is used. The applied load can be distributed and canceled, and as a result, the strength of the gut stretcher can be easily improved.
[0060]
Therefore, by appropriately selecting the position where the convex mountain portion is provided, the strength of the portion, for example, the top portion or / and the side portion of the gut stretch portion is increased, and the top pressure rigidity or / and the side pressure rigidity is large. A tennis racket can be provided. In this way, the strength of the weaker part can be supplemented, or if you want to increase the strength more than others, you can increase the strength of that part, when you designed the tennis racket according to the target player The design can be easily realized.
[0061]
Furthermore, since the strength of the gut stretcher can be increased without increasing the reinforcing fibers, there are various advantages such that the weight of the racket is not increased and the demand for weight reduction can be satisfied.
