Description
【0001】
【0009】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a sugar-coated seamless capsule containing a water-soluble substance excellent in stability over time, taste and texture.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A capsule in which a capsule made of gelatin or the like is coated with a sugar coating layer is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 59-71673. Usually, these sugar-coated capsules are limited to oil-soluble substances in the capsule contents. This is because gelatin-coated capsules cannot retain their capsule shape when the water-soluble substance is used as the content.
[0003]
For pharmaceuticals, preparations that combine the immediate effect of administering a water-soluble drug component in the form of an aqueous solution with excellent portability in the form of a sugar coating and ingestion are desired. There has been a demand for a preparation comprising a combination of an aqueous component in which a taste component spreads and a sugar coating excellent in ease of eating and texture.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a sugar-coated seamless capsule containing a water-soluble substance having excellent temporal stability as a content.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention includes (1) a seamless capsule containing a water-soluble substance as a content, and (2) a water-soluble substance having a particle diameter of 1.0 mm or more, which contains a sugar coating layer formed on the seamless capsule. To provide sugar-coated seamless capsules.
[0006]
The contents of the seamless capsule used in the present invention contain a water-soluble substance, but it is difficult to maintain the capsule form with the water-soluble substance alone, so the contents are made in the form of a mixture with an alcohol base. Examples of the alcohol base include sugar alcohol liquids such as glycerin or sorbitol liquid and mixtures thereof, and the water content of the water-soluble substance in the base is 50% or less, preferably 30% or less. Desired seamless capsule contents can be obtained by appropriately dissolving water-soluble substances of pharmaceuticals and foods in the alcohol base.
[0007]
Water-soluble main ingredients of pharmaceuticals include medicinal extracts such as Kakkonto extract and Sho-saiko-to extract, tinctures such as bitter tincture and mokko tincture, water-soluble pharmaceuticals such as acetaminophen, mexiletine hydrochloride, acarbose, sodium cromoglycate, and pravastatin sodium Ingredients can be exemplified, but are not particularly limited as long as they are water-soluble. If desired, they are taste-masking agents (for example, sweeteners, sour agents, bitterness inhibitors, etc.), pH adjusters, thickeners, preservatives. , Pigments and the like may be added.
[0008]
Water-soluble main ingredients of food include plum extract, rakan fruit extract, pomegranate extract, blueberry extract, swordfish extract and other microbial extracts such as yeast extract, microbial product, lemon juice, apple juice, grape juice, peach Examples include fruit juices such as fruit juices, functional polysaccharides such as mucopolysaccharides, chlorella, peptides, polyphenols and the like, but are not particularly limited as long as they are water soluble. Further, if desired, sweeteners, sour agents, flavorings , PH adjusters, thickeners, preservatives, pigments and the like may be added.
[0009]
It is necessary to interpose a hydrophobic protective layer between the water-soluble content and the capsule film. Substances used as the hydrophobic protective layer are generally hardened oils and fats, and may be vegetable hardened oils or animal hardened oils and fats and hydrogenated products thereof. Preferably, it is palm hardened oil or fat or palm kernel hardened oil and fat, and those having a melting point of 35 ° C to 55 ° C, preferably 40 ° C to 50 ° C are optimal. For the hydrophobic protective layer, if necessary, a natural product lecithin or a chemically synthesized glycerin fatty acid ester, sorbitan fatty acid ester, propylene glycol fatty acid ester, sucrose fatty acid ester, or a mixture thereof can be hardened. You may add suitably 0.1-10 weight% with respect to fats and oils, Preferably 0.5-5 weight%.
[0010]
Examples of the film material of the seamless capsule include gelatin, agar, pectin, or a mixture thereof. If desired, a plasticizer (for example, a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol such as sorbitol and glycerin), a sweetener, a sour agent, A fragrance, a preservative, a pigment, and the like may be added.
[0011]
The sugar-coating agent for forming the sugar-coating layer is a known formulation mainly composed of sugar and syrup. If desired, a sour agent, a fragrance, a pigment, and the like may be added. In addition, in the case of a sugarless, low-calorie formulation, sugar alcohols such as reduced maltose starch syrup, sorbitol, erythritol, reduced palatinose, and mixtures thereof may be used as a base, and if desired, sour agents, fragrances, pigments, etc. may be added. .
[0012]
The sugar coating layer is preferably 100% to 300% with respect to the capsule weight, but is not necessarily limited thereto.
[0013]
The product after sugar coating is desirably dried with warm air or vacuum until the water activity becomes 0.3 to 0.7, preferably 0.5 to 0.6, in terms of stability over time.
[0014]
The sugar-coated seamless capsule of the present invention has a cross section as shown in FIG. In FIG. 1, 1 is a sugar coating layer, 2 is a seamless capsule film, 3 is a hydrophobic protective layer, and 4 is an aqueous solution.
[0015]
【Example】
The invention is illustrated in more detail by the following examples. However, the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[Example 1]
Add 20% by weight of plum extract (30% water-containing product) to 80% by weight of alcohol base prepared by mixing sorbitol solution (solid content 70%) and concentrated edible glycerin at a weight ratio of 3: 1 and dissolve by heating at 40 ° C. An aqueous solution that is the contents of the sugar-coated center capsule is prepared, and the aqueous solution is coated with a two-layer film of a hardened palm oil protective layer film having a melting point of 50 ° C. and an outer film based on gelatin. Thus, a seamless capsule was manufactured.
[0016]
A seamless capsule is manufactured by using a concentric triple nozzle and a three-layer jet of the contents liquid from the inner nozzle, the hardened fat from the intermediate nozzle, and the film agent liquid from the outer nozzle, which are simultaneously injected into vegetable oil cooled to 10 ° C. Thus, a three-layered seamless capsule having a particle size of 5 mm was obtained.
[0017]
Further, the seamless capsule was dried by aeration drying, and the surface was coated with a 1 mm thick coating using molasses and powder of reduced maltose syrup and heated at a temperature of 40 ° C. until the water activity reached 0.6. The product of the present invention was obtained by drying with wind.
[0018]
The storage stability over time was evaluated by measuring the biting comfort at room temperature for 4 months and the weight residual ratio at 40 ° C., 20% RH, 8 weeks. The results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
[0019]
[Comparative Example 1]
An aqueous solution content is prepared by adding 80% by weight of purified water to 20% by weight of plum extract (30% water-containing product), and using a hardened palm oil with a melting point of 50 ° C. in the protective layer in the same manner as in Example 1. Sugar-coated seamless capsules containing an aqueous solution were produced.
[0020]
The storage stability over time was evaluated by measuring the biting comfort at room temperature for 4 months and the weight residual ratio at 40 ° C., 20% RH, 8 weeks. The results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
