BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an embroidery data creation apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, data for making an embroidery machine capable of performing embroidery sewing and a device dedicated to embroidery sewing perform embroidery sewing is created by the manufacturer of the apparatus, and embroidery sewing is normally performed based on this data.
However, with the spread of personal computers and the like in recent years, there is an increasing demand for users to create images themselves and use them as embroidery stitch data. An apparatus for reading an image created by a user with an image sensor or the like and creating stitch data based on the image sensor is already on the market as an accessory for a home embroidery sewing machine.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In this way, when the user creates a favorite image and creates embroidery stitch data based on the image, when performing color change stitching, etc., an original image for each color is prepared and read separately by an image sensor or the like. It is necessary to create image data separately.
However, there is a problem that images overlap due to an error of an original image to be read, an error of an image sensor, an operation error, etc., and the overlapped portion is converted into image data as it is, and over stitching is performed when actually sewing.
Conventionally, the image data created from the original image as described above is generally created by simple stitches such as tatami stitch data, and even if there is overlap stitching, it is not so noticeable and does not pose a big problem. .
However, in recent years, research has been conducted on an apparatus for creating embroidery data that can be used not only for simple stitches but also for stitch stitching. When such stitch stitching is performed, the appearance of embroidery is significantly impaired if there is overlap stitching. There is a problem, and a solution to this point is desired. In the case of stitch sewing, there may be a case where data of both image stitches are created at the boundary between images, and the above solution is also desired from this viewpoint.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object thereof is to provide an apparatus for creating embroidery data that does not cause overlap stitching.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides means for providing image data representing an image and unit image stitching for each of the given plurality of images, so that a plurality of images are divided into grid-like sections at a resolution according to an image segmentation program. Means for dividing, means for determining whether or not to perform sewing for each of the divided grid-like sections, and unit images for sewing to the grid-like sections determined to execute the sewing Means for providing stitch pattern data as sewing data, means for selecting stitch pattern data as unit image sewing data to be sewn in the section determined to execute the sewing, and the same section The embroidery data creation device includes a means for performing sewing execution of only one image when it is determined that sewing of two or more images is performed. It could be.
Further, the present invention is an image scanner for reading the image by the means for giving the image data, and the means for executing the sewing of only the one image according to the order in which the images are read. By using an embroidery data creation device that allows only one image to be sewn, the problem could be solved.
Furthermore, the present invention further provides an embroidery data creation device in which the means for executing the sewing of only one image executes the sewing of only one image according to the proportion of the image within the predetermined range. We were able to solve the problem.
Further, the present invention can solve the problem by further providing an embroidery data creation device in which the means for executing the sewing of only one image executes the sewing of the stitch pattern of the unit image selected by the user. did it.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
An embodiment using a
An
FIG. 2A shows an example of an original image, which is formed from two images A and B. A and B are images in which different stitches are executed by different colors or different stitch patterns. is there.
When such an original image is read by the

The
FIG. 2 (a) shows an example of dividing into 3 rows and 7 columns of grid-like sections for the sake of explanation. In practice, however, the sections are divided with a resolution of about 66 × 49, for example. Yes. Each of the images A and B is divided.
[0007]
After dividing into sections, the
An existing algorithm can be used for this determination. For example, the determination algorithm may be determined according to the area ratio of the image shown in the section. In this embodiment, a section in which the image occupies an area of 20% or more is determined as sewing execution.
The stitch pattern from the stitch pattern storage device 6 is selected by the operation of the stitch pattern selection device 9 in the sewing execution section.
In FIG. 2C, a section with an AB mark is a sewing execution section, and AB represents, for example, a stitch pattern of a different color.
[0008]
FIG. 2 (D) is a combination of the A image and the B image, and it can be seen that there is a section in which the stitches of both the AB patterns are executed.
The overlap of the sewing execution sections as described above is caused by the sewing execution determination algorithm as in this embodiment, due to an operation error or blurring when read by the
[0009]
When the execution of sewing overlaps the same section, the
When determining one image, according to the order read from the
In this embodiment, in addition to the above, the stitch pattern selection device 9 can be used to specify an image to be erased by the user.
[0010]
When the images determined to be sewn are synthesized by the above procedure, overlapping portions disappear as shown in FIG. 2E, and data for sewing a single image in all sections is completed. In this example, all overlapping portions of the image AB are sewn on the B image read later.
[0011]
When the above operation is completed, the
The
At this time, since the overlapping image data of the same section is organized, the stitches with excellent appearance without overlapping are realized.
[0012]
The above operation will be described again according to the flowchart of FIG.
First, the line number L and the section number N are cleared (step S1). When the image reading by the
Next, L is cleared (step S11), and each line is reciprocally searched to select a stitch pattern in the case of the sewing execution section (step S12).
When the next image is read (step S13), the process returns to step S2. If there is no next image reading, it is determined whether or not the execution of sewing overlaps for each section (steps S14, 15 and 16). If they overlap, one data is deleted (step S17).
When the duplication check and data erasure in all line sections are finished (steps S19, 20, 21), stitch data is generated for each image according to the selection (step S22), and this is stored in the
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the embroidery data creation device based on the image data of the present invention, there is an effect that stitch data having excellent appearance can be created from arbitrary image data without overlapping stitches.
