発明1の中通し竿は、外周面にリールを装着可能でありリールからの釣糸が通過可能な釣糸通路を内部に有する中通し竿であって、釣糸通路に釣糸を導入可能な釣糸導入孔を穂先側外周面に有する第1竿体と、第1竿体の穂先側に振出形式で連結され竿元側内周面に硬質リングを有する第2竿体と、第2竿体の竿元側端部に脱着自在に連結された尻栓と、第2竿体の穂先側に振出形式で連結される小径竿体とを備えている。そして、尻栓は、第1竿体の釣糸導入孔付近で第1竿体に係止可能な本体部と、本体部に形成され本体部が第1竿体の釣糸導入孔付近で係止された状態において釣糸導入孔と第2竿体内に収納された小径竿体の釣糸通路を連絡する連絡部とを有している。
