Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an ink tube guide. In particular, the present invention includes a plurality of guide elements inserted through one or more ink tubes and connected so as to be able to bend, and the ink tubes are attached to a carriage that reciprocates in the main scanning direction. The ink tube guide is improved in that the curved portion is formed by moving between the plurality of guide elements as the carriage reciprocates.
[0002]
The present invention also relates to an ink jet printer provided with the tube guide.
[0003]
[Prior art]
In some ink jet printers, ink is supplied to a recording head mounted on a carriage via an ink tube from an ink tank or the like provided in a place other than the carriage.
[0004]
In such an ink jet printer, the ink tube is drawn by the carriage as the carriage reciprocates in the main scanning direction. For this reason, an ink tube guide for storing the ink tube is provided. The ink tube guide protects the ink tube and also reliably guides the ink tube to the carriage.
[0005]

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the carriage 1 is folded from the forward path to the backward path, and when the carriage 1 is folded from the backward path to the backward path, a U-shaped curved portion is formed in the
[0012]
As a result, there is a problem that the portion of the ink tube is likely to be broken earlier than the other portions. When the ink tube is broken, air enters the ink tube from there, and there is a problem that it becomes difficult to supply the ink to the recording head.
[0013]
An object of the present invention is to prevent or reduce the risk of breakage of an ink tube due to such compression, impact or friction from the ink tube guide.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of an ink tube guide according to the present invention comprises a plurality of guide elements through which one or more ink tubes are inserted and bendably connected, and , Guides the ink tube to a carriage reciprocating in the main scanning direction by forming a curved portion, and the curved portion is formed by moving between the plurality of guide elements as the carriage reciprocates. An ink tube guide that is formed, and among the plurality of guide elements, a portion that forms the curved portion at the turning point of the reciprocating movement of the carriage comes into contact with the inner portion of the curved portion. It is characterized by an open structure with no walls .
[0015]
According to the present invention, among the plurality of guide elements, the portion that forms the curved portion at the turning point of the reciprocating movement of the carriage has an open structure in which the wall on which the ink tube abuts does not exist. Therefore, the ink tube is not subjected to pressure, impact and friction from the wall of the guide element when the carriage is turned back and forth. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the ink tube from being damaged by such compression, impact, or friction.
[0016]
This open structure is provided only in the guide element that forms a curved portion at the turning point of the reciprocating movement of the carriage. The other guide element supports the ink tube, and the ink tube is placed in the guide element. A retaining wall is provided. Therefore, the entire ink tube is prevented from coming out of the ink tube guide.
[0017]
The second aspect of the ink tube guide according to the present invention includes a plurality of guide elements that are inserted through one or more ink tubes and are connected to bend, and reciprocate in the main scanning direction. An ink tube guide that guides the ink tube to a carriage by forming a curved portion, and the curved portion is formed by moving between the plurality of guide elements as the carriage reciprocates. The wall located in the inside of the curved portion of the guide element opens obliquely with respect to the connecting direction of the guide element, and reduces the contact surface between the guide element and the ink tube. It is characterized by having a mouth.
[0018]
According to the present invention, the wall located inside the curved portion of the guide element opens obliquely with respect to the connecting direction of the guide element, and reduces the contact surface between the guide element and the ink tube. Since it has a bevel, it can reduce the pressure, impact and friction from the wall of the guide element when the carriage is reciprocated by reducing the contact surface, which can cause damage to the ink tube. Can be reduced.
[0019]
Further, although the contact surface is reduced, it exists, so that the ink tube inserted in the connecting direction of the guide element can be prevented from coming out of the guide element. Therefore, all the guide elements constituting the ink tube guide can be constituted by the guide elements having the inclined portion. This makes it possible to mass-produce the same part, that is, a guide element having a beveled portion, thereby improving the production efficiency of the guide element and reducing the production cost.
[0020]
According to a third aspect of the ink tube guide according to the present invention, in the second aspect, the guide element having the bevel opening portion is provided in a guide element that forms a curved portion at a turning point of reciprocation of the carriage. It is characterized by that.

Also according to the third aspect of the present invention, the guide element having the beveled opening is provided on the guide element that forms the curved portion at the turning point of the reciprocating movement of the carriage.・ The risk of tube breakage can be reduced.
[0022]
In addition, since the guide element that forms the curved portion at the turn-back point of the reciprocating movement of the carriage has the beveled opening portion, the conventional guide element can be used as it is as the other guide element. Therefore, the ink tube according to the present invention can be configured by replacing a part of the conventional product with one having a skew portion, and in this respect, the production cost can be reduced.
[0023]
According to a fourth aspect of the ink tube guide of the present invention, one or more ink tubes are inserted and provided with a plurality of guide elements connected so as to bend, and reciprocate in the main scanning direction. An ink tube guide that guides the ink tube to a carriage by forming a curved portion, and the curved portion is formed by moving between the plurality of guide elements as the carriage reciprocates. An elastic member is provided between the ink tube and the wall located at the inside of the curved portion of the guide element.
[0024]
According to the present invention, since the elastic member is provided between the ink tube and the wall located inside the curved portion of the guide element, the wall of the guide element when the carriage is reciprocated. Can reduce compression, impact and friction. Thereby, the risk of breakage of the ink tube can be reduced.
[0025]
According to a fifth aspect of the ink tube guide of the present invention, one or more ink tubes are inserted and provided with a plurality of guide elements connected so as to bend, and reciprocate in the main scanning direction. An ink tube guide that guides the ink tube to a carriage by forming a curved portion, and the curved portion is formed by moving between the plurality of guide elements as the carriage reciprocates. The wall located inside the curved portion of the guide element protrudes to the outside, and the wall inside the curved portion has a concave shape in a direction away from the ink tube. .
[0026]
According to the present invention, the wall located at the inside of the curved portion of the guide element protrudes to the outside, and the inside of the curved portion has a concave shape. Can reduce compression, impact and friction. Thereby, the risk of breakage of the ink tube can be reduced.
[0027]
An ink jet printer according to the present invention includes the ink tube guide according to any one of the first to fifth aspects. According to the present invention, the same operational effects as those of the first to fifth aspects described above can be provided to the ink jet printer.
