本発明は前記の点に着目してなされたもので、その課題は、夜間において外部からの発見を容易にすると同時に、過度に構造強度を増さなくても破損のおそれが少ない地下構造物位置表示のための発光装置を提供することである。

前記の課題を解決するため本発明は、消火栓その他の地下構造物の位置を表示するための発光装置について、発光面を上向きにしてケース内に設けられ、目的箇所に取り付けるための取り付け手段を上記ケースの下部に有する発光部と、発光部を取り付ける収容部として、発光部を上下に移動可能に収める凹部を有し、発光面を上向きに常時付勢するためにケースと収容部との間に配置され、発光面に及ぼされる外力を弾性変形によって吸収する弾性体を有し、上記取り付け手段は、ケースの下面に設けられた雌ねじ部とそこにねじ込まれる先端ねじ部を有するボルトとから成り、発光部を収める凹部の底に設けられたボルト挿通孔に下部からボルトを上向きに配置し、その上端をケースの下面の雌ねじ部にねじ込み、ボルトの頭部が凹部底に当たって、弾性体による発光部の押し上げ位置を規定するように構成するという手段を講じたものである。
