【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lighting device used for road lighting.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, for example, for road lighting such as a motorway for exclusive use of automobiles, a road lamp in which a lighting device is attached to the tip of a pole installed on the shoulder side of the road or the median strip side is generally used. The road is illuminated from above.
[0003]
Since such road lights are installed at regular intervals along the road, immediately after the preceding vehicle traveling on the road passes under the road light, the preceding vehicle is directly illuminated and is visible from the following vehicle. In addition, while the preceding vehicle passes under one road light and reaches the bottom of the next road light, the preceding vehicle becomes a shadow, but the road surface illumination ensures road surface brightness. Thus, the presence of the preceding vehicle can be visually recognized from the following vehicle by the luminance contrast between the shadow of the preceding vehicle and the road surface luminance.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, on highways, for example, with high-performance pavement with improved drainage, the road surface reflectance may become low and it may be difficult to ensure the road surface brightness. Therefore, there is a problem that the brightness of the preceding vehicle from the following vehicle is lowered. In addition to the preceding vehicle traveling on the road, there are similar problems regarding the visibility of obstacles on the road and vehicles parked on the road shoulder.
[0005]
On highways, there are attempts to irradiate spotlights in the direction of vehicle travel on the road in order to ensure visibility in fog, but the spotlight light is incident on the rear mirror of the vehicle and is dazzling. There is a problem that the glare you feel occurs.
[0006]
In general, a method is adopted in which a louver composed of a plurality of louver pieces is arranged at the irradiation opening of a lighting fixture to control the light emission direction, and a combination of a spotlight and a louver is used. In this case, since the angle to be shielded by the louver is small, the interval between the louver pieces must be narrow and the area of the louver pieces must be increased, which makes it difficult to manufacture the louver. It is conceivable that the light irradiation efficiency decreases.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and provides an illumination device that can improve the visibility of a preceding vehicle traveling on a road and the like, and can reduce the occurrence of glare due to illumination without using a louver. With the goal.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The lighting device according to claim 1 is installed at a height position of 1 m or less from a road surface of the road at a side position of the road,Side part parallel to vehicle traveling direction of road, and opening formed in this side partA lighting device body having aApertureA light source disposed on the opposite side of the road with respect to the vehicle traveling direction; opposed to the light source in the illuminating device body, the position of the light source is the first focal point, and the light of the light source is reflected from the first focal pointApertureA reflecting mirror for condensing the second focal point; a light-shielding means disposed at the position of the second focal point for shielding light that is not condensed at the second focal point;ApertureAnd the light that has passed through the second focal pointFrom the openingA lens to be emitted;A secondary reflector provided in a region between the lens and the opening and facing the opening;Equipped withThe reflecting mirror, the lens, and the secondary reflecting plate are arranged so that the horizontal angle of the optical axis of the light emitted from the opening is inclined inward of the road with respect to the vehicle traveling direction of the road.It is what.
[0009]
Then, the lighting device main body is installed at a side position of the road at a height of 1 m or less from the road surface, and faces the road of the lighting device main body.ApertureBy irradiating light toward the vehicle traveling direction of the road through, a vehicle traveling on the road is illuminated from behind, and visibility is improved. Moreover, the lighting device itselfApertureThe light from the light source is reflected from the first focal point by the reflecting mirror having the first focal point at the position of the light source arranged on the opposite side of the vehicle traveling direction of the road.ApertureThe light is condensed on the second focal point, the light not condensed on the second focal point is shielded by the light shielding means at the position of the second focal point, and the light passing through the second focal point is reflected by the lens.ApertureBy emitting light in the vehicle traveling direction on the road, the generation of glare to the driver through the rear mirror of the vehicle without using the louver is reduced, and the light irradiation efficiency is improved compared to the case where the louver is used. TheFurthermore, light that cannot be controlled by the reflecting mirror or the lens is reflected in the vehicle traveling direction on the road by a secondary reflecting plate provided between the lens and the opening and facing the opening. Thus, the light from the light source can be used effectively and the irradiation efficiency can be improved.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the lighting device of the first aspect, the light shielding means has a lower light shielding body that shields light below the optical axis connecting the first focus and the second focus. Is.
[0011]
Further, since the light below the optical axis connecting the first focal point and the second focal point is shielded by the lower light shield of the light shielding means, the light is prevented from being emitted upward through the lens, and the occurrence of glare is reduced. Is done.
[0012]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the illuminating device according to the first aspect, the light blocking means includes a lower light blocking member that blocks light below the optical axis connecting the first focus and the second focus, and upper light. An upper light-shielding body that shields light is provided, and the distance between the lower light-shielding body and the upper light-shielding body is narrowly provided from the road opposite side to the road side.
[0013]
Then, since the light below the optical axis connecting the first focus and the second focus is shielded by the lower light shield of the light shielding means, the light is prevented from being emitted upward through the lens, and the occurrence of glare is prevented. In addition, since the light above the optical axis is shielded by the upper light shield of the light shielding means, the light emitted downward through the lens is limited, and the brightness of the road surface near the illuminating device body becomes too high. In addition, since the distance between the lower light shield and the upper light shield is narrow from the opposite side of the road to the road side, the light is suppressed from spreading through the lens in the direction close to the lighting device body and in the far direction. The light spreads.
[0014]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the illuminating device according to the first aspect, the light shielding unit condenses the light that is not condensed on the second focal point and the second focal point inside the light shielding unit. The light-shielding body has an opening through which light passes.
[0015]
Then, the light is transmitted upward through the lens by a light-shielding unit that shields light that is not collected at the second focal point and an opening through which light collected at the second focal point passes inside the light-shielding unit. , The occurrence of glare is reduced, the light emitted downward through the lens is restricted, and the road surface near the lighting device main body is prevented from becoming too bright, and the road It becomes possible to control the spread of light in the width direction.
[0016]
The illuminating device according to claim 5 is the illuminating device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the light shielding means includes a reflective surface portion that shields and reflects light that is not collected at the second focal point. A second reflecting mirror that reflects the reflected light in the vehicle traveling direction of the road is provided.
[0017]
Then, the light that is not collected at the second focal point is shielded and reflected by the reflective surface portion of the light shielding means, and the light reflected by the reflective surface portion is reflected by the second reflecting mirror in the vehicle traveling direction of the road. The light that is not collected is blocked to reduce the occurrence of glare, and the light irradiation efficiency is improved by emitting the light that is blocked.
