本発明は、パチンコ機,スロットマシーン等の遊技機の外枠に関する。

【従来の技術】
パチンコ機やパチンコ機の外形形状に合せて構成したスロットマシーン等の遊技機はホールの取付台(所謂「島」と称している取付装置。)に対して組付けるため矩形に形成した外枠を備えている。
一般に、パチンコ機等における外枠は、やゝ肉厚の板材で縦,横各2本づつの枠材を作り、これを矩形に組んでそのコーナー部分に連結用金具を添わせ、ねじで止め付け枠組形成しているのが普通である。しかし、近年森林資源の保護や製造性の向上等の観点から天然木材に代えて合成樹脂等を材料とした外枠が提供されるに至っている。

合成樹脂製の外枠は成形用金型を使って成形するのが一般的である。この金型による成形は当然のことながら設計に因って外枠の全体を一体に成形することができることは勿論のこと、デザインを自由に選択することもできることから天然の木材を材料とするものからは得られない変化に富んだ外枠の製造が可能になっている。
またこの合成樹脂による外枠は、合成樹脂製品の再生材料を原料にして成形することもできるためリサイクル製品の一つとしても考えられており、今後より広い実用化が期待されている。

一方、この合成樹脂を材料にするものの外、間伐材の利用や木材チップを原料とした人工木材による外枠の製造も提案され、一部実用化が実現している。ことに木材チップによる外枠は人工木材の製造技術が向上し、所要の強度を確保できるようになったことに加えて、量産が容易であることから天然木材に代わるものとして注目されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この様に外枠の素材として天然の木板に代えて合成樹脂を素材としたもの、或いは人工木板を素材としたものが実用化されるに至っているが、同時に実用化に際しては天然木板にはない配慮が必要となる。ことに合成樹脂を材料にした場合には所要の強度を確保すること、製品精度を挙げること、更には成形コストに配慮する等多くの点で配慮する必要がある。
合成樹脂による場合、外枠の縦の枠材を一本にすると、自動的に成形金型が大型化する問題、これに伴って製造コストが高くなり、また成形時に熱収縮によって歪みが発生し易く精度が低下する問題、そして重量を考慮して軽量にしたときこれに伴って強度が劣る問題、等々である。

強度の問題は人工木板による場合も同様である。外枠の縦横の枠部分についてそれぞれ一本の人工木板製の枠材によって形成した場合、何らかの補強構造を施し、支持する各種の機器類の重量を支えられるだけの強度を出す必要がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、この様な点に鑑み開発されたもので、外枠を構成する左右の縦の枠部と上下の横の枠部に使われる枠材を共通化、定型化する一方、4隅のコーナー部材を定型化してこのコーナー部材を介して縦横の枠部を前記枠材によって組み上げ、縦長矩形の外枠を一体に組立形成できるようにしたパチンコ機等遊技機の外枠を提供せんとするものである。

特に、本発明は前記縦横の枠部を構成する枠材と4隅のコーナー部材を定型化し、且つ相互の接続を定型化することによって共用化を図り、部品数の削減を通しての管理を容易にすると共に製造性の向上を図り、また外枠を枠材とコーナー部材に分割化してそのものを小型化し、製造性を向上させ、また寸法の精度を高めると共に、製造コストの低下を図り、低コストで良質な製品を量産できるようにしたことにある。

本発明を更に詳述すると、その特徴とするところは外枠の4隅部に配置されるL字形のコーナー部材と、上下左右に各対向する前記コーナー部材間に渡り、縦横の各枠部を形成する所要板厚を有する枠材とから構成され、前記コーナー部材は直角に延びる2つの連結片の各端部に接続片を一体に備え、また前記縦横の枠材は各両端部に前記コーナー部材の前記接続片に接続する接続片をそれぞれ備え、該接続片相互を連結具を介して一体に連結接合することにより矩形の枠形に組立てなることを特徴とした遊技機の外枠を提供することにある。
