Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a component supply apparatus that sequentially supplies components to predetermined component extraction positions in order to mount electronic components on a substrate in a mounting machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a component supply apparatus as described above, for example, a tape feeder that supplies components using a tape as a carrier is generally known.
[0003]
This tape feeder is composed of a tape body and a cover tape, and a tape containing a large number of parts at regular intervals is held in a state of being wound around a reel. Each time the parts are picked up by the nozzle member provided on the mounting machine head, the cover tape is peeled off from the tape body at the parts take-out section. While the tape is intermittently paid out by the mechanism, the parts are taken out one after another at the part taking-out part.
[0004]
As the feeding mechanism, the sprocket connected to the ratchet turning mechanism is engaged with the tape, and the ratchet turning mechanism is operated in accordance with the vertical movement of the nozzle member for picking up the parts, thereby rotating the sprocket. The method of paying out the tape was mainstream.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-mentioned conventional feeding mechanism swings the lever interlocking with the ratchet rotation mechanism in accordance with the operation of the nozzle member, etc., so that the tape is fed uniformly at a constant speed regardless of the type of parts. The impact (acceleration) and feeding speed may not be negligible depending on the type of parts stored on the tape. In particular, in the case of extremely small chip parts, etc. May fly out.
[0006]
For this reason, conventionally, a shutter member has been provided in the component take-out part to prevent the jumping of components other than at the time of component take-off, but with the miniaturization of components in recent years, in a single tape feeder The supply of a wide variety of parts from relatively large chip parts to extremely small chip parts has been required, and even with the above shutter member, even if the parts can be prevented from popping out, it is possible to reliably prevent the parts from standing. Is difficult.
[0007]
In addition, there is a concern that it becomes impossible to take out the component due to the malfunction of the shutter member, and it is preferable to maintain the proper supply of the component if it is possible to prevent the component from popping out at the component removing portion without the shutter member.
[0008]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and an object thereof is to provide a component supply apparatus that can supply components more appropriately.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, a tape composed of a tape main body storing parts at predetermined intervals and a cover tape adhered to the tape main body is led out to the part take-out portion along the tape guide groove at a predetermined timing. A sprocket that engages with the tape in a component supply device that holds the tape in a state in which the component can be taken out by the component take-out portion by folding and peeling the cover tape at the end of the cover member provided above. And a pair of gears meshing with each other, and guided between the pair of gears by being folded back at the end of the cover member. A cover that peels off the cover tape from the tape body by pulling the cover tape to be rotated with the rotation of the pair of gears. A take-off mechanism and a motor as a drive source, and driving means for driving the feeding means and the cover take-off mechanism by transmitting the rotational driving force of the motor to one side of the sprocket and the pair of gears, respectively. Operating condition setting means for setting the acceleration, maximum speed and deceleration, which are the operating conditions of the motor at the time of deriving the tape, to conditions suitable for the type of component to be supplied, and set for deriving the tape was based on the operating conditions, after the motor is driven at the acceleration, constant speed drive above the maximum speed, further comprising a control means of the motor to be stopped after reduction drive with the deceleration Is.
[0010]
According to this configuration, it is possible to feed the tape at an optimum speed or acceleration / deceleration that can reliably prevent the standing of the part and the part from popping out according to the type of the part. Therefore, even when supply of a wide variety of parts, from relatively large chip parts to extremely small chip parts, is required by a single part supply device, the parts are properly prevented while reliably preventing them from standing. It becomes possible to supply.

Next, a control example of the tape feeder configured as described above will be described with reference to the flowcharts of FIGS.
[0030]
FIG. 5 shows a main routine of component supply control by the tape feeder. In this figure, when the tape feeder is operated, initial processing is first performed, and a command input standby state from the host computer of the mounting machine main body is entered (step S1).
[0031]
Then, when a command is input, it is determined whether or not the command is a command requesting the origin position movement process of the tape 6 (steps S2 and S3). Processing (step S7) is performed, and then the process proceeds to step S10. In step S10, an end message is transmitted to the host computer, and then the process returns to step S2.
[0032]
If NO in step S3, it is then determined whether or not the command is a command requesting setting of an operating condition (step S4). If YES in this case, an operating condition setting process (described later) ( Step S8) is performed, and then the process proceeds to step S10.
[0033]
If NO in step S4, it is further determined whether or not the command is a command requesting feeding of the tape 6 (step S5). If YES, the tape feeding process (step S9) described later is performed. Then, the process proceeds to step S10.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention holds the tape in a state in which the part can be taken out by the part taking-out portion while the tape containing the parts at predetermined intervals is led out by the feeding means operated by the rotation of the motor. At the same time, the acceleration, maximum speed, and deceleration, which are the operating conditions of the motor at this time, are changed according to the type of parts to be supplied, so that the operating conditions suitable for the parts are set and the tape is fed out. By doing so, it is possible to reliably prevent parts from standing up and jumping out of the parts, and to supply the parts satisfactorily. Therefore, even when supplying a wide variety of parts with different sizes and configurations from a relatively large chip part to a very small chip part with a single tape feeder, the above operating conditions are set for each type of part. Thus, the parts can be supplied satisfactorily.
