【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述の従来の装置では、外側脚柱の下部から立ち上がる雄ねじ杆を内側脚柱の下端部に設けた雌ねじ筒に螺合させて、外側脚柱を回転させることにより、内側脚柱に対して外側脚柱を出入させるものであるが、雄ねじ、雌ねじのピッチが、キャスター軸用の通常の細かいピッチであるため、昇降操作に手間を要する。すなわち、キャスター軸は強く締め込むためにピッチが細かい必要があるが、このピッチの細かいキャスター軸をそのまま使うと、ピッチが細かすぎてテーブルを昇降させるのに何回も回さなければならない。このような昇降操作は4本の脚柱のすべてに行うので、調節のために時間がかかることとなる。

(1) テーブルの下面に固着され、雌ねじを中央に備える雌ねじ部材を下端部に有する内側脚柱と、該内側脚柱に外嵌され、下端部に前記雌ねじ部材に螺合される上向きの雄ねじ杆を備える外側脚柱と、該外側脚柱の下部に装着され、かつ前記雄ねじ杆と同軸の軸線まわりに旋回可能なキャスターとを備えるテーブルの高さ調節装置において、前記外側脚柱の下端部に固着された軸受部材の中心軸孔の上部に、ピッチの荒い上部雌ねじ部を、また前記中心軸孔の下部に、ピッチの細かい下部雌ねじ部を設け、前記上部雌ねじ部に、雄ねじ杆の下端部を螺合し、かつ前記軸受部材の上方における雄ねじ杆に螺合したナットを軸受部材に向かって締め込むことにより、前記雄ねじ杆を軸受部材に固着し、前記下部雌ねじ部に、前記キャスター上部におけるピッチの細かいキャスター軸を螺着する。
