本発明は、テーブルの高さ調節装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
テーブルの4本の脚柱の長さを調節して天板の高さを自由に設定しうるようにしたテーブルの高さ調節装置はすでに知られている(例えば特許文献1参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述の従来の装置では、外側脚柱の下部から立ち上がる雄ねじ杆を内側脚柱の下端部に設けた雌ねじ筒に螺合させて、外側脚柱を回転させることにより、内側脚柱に対して外側脚柱を出入させるものであるが、雄ねじ、雌ねじのピッチが、キャスター軸用の通常の細かいピッチであるため、昇降操作に手間を要する。すなわち、キャスター軸は強く締め込むためにピッチが細かい必要があるが、このピッチの細かいキャスター軸をそのまま使うと、ピッチが細かすぎてテーブルを昇降させるのに何回も回さなければならない。このような昇降操作は4本の脚柱のすべてに行うので、調節のために時間がかかることとなる。

本発明は、テーブルの脚柱の長さの調節に脚柱を回転させる回数が少なくてすみ、調節時間が短くてすむテーブルの高さ調節装置を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によると、上記課題は、次のようにして解決される。
(1) テーブルの下面に固着され、雌ねじを中央に備える雌ねじ部材を下端部に有する内側脚柱と、該内側脚柱に外嵌され、下端部に前記雌ねじ部材に螺合される上向きの雄ねじ杆を備える外側脚柱と、該外側脚柱の下部に装着され、かつ前記雄ねじ杆と同軸の軸線まわりに旋回可能なキャスターとを備えるテーブルの高さ調節装置において、前記雄ねじ杆及び前記雌ねじ部材の雌ねじを、ともにピッチの荒いものとし、前記雄ねじ杆の下端部を、前記外側脚柱の下端部に固着された軸受部材に取付けるとともに、該軸受部材の下部に設けたピッチの細かい下部雌ねじ部に、前記キャスター上部のピッチの細かいキャスター軸を螺着する。

(2) 上記(1)項において、軸受部材の上部にピッチの荒い上部雌ねじ部を形成し、該上部雌ねじ部に雄ねじ杆の下端を螺着し、前記軸受部材の上方に設けた前記雄ねじ杆と螺合するナットを軸受部材に向かって締め込んで、前記雄ねじ杆を固着する。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明の一実施例を備えるテーブルの斜視図、図2は、その1個の脚を縦断して示す拡大図、及び図3は、脚上部における高さ目盛りを示す拡大正面図である。

図1に示すように、テーブルの天板(1)の下面四隅部には、キャスター(2)付きの脚(3)が取り付けられている。

図2に明らかなように、脚(3)は、上端を天板(1)の下面に固着された内側脚柱(4)と、内側脚柱(4)の外側に沿ってこれを覆い、下端にキャスター(2)を取り付けた外側脚柱(5)とからなっている。

内側脚柱(4)は、中空の鋼管からなり、下端は床面までの中間位置で終わっている。その下端部内面には、中心にピッチの荒い雌ねじ(6a)を切った雌ねじ部材(6)が固着されている。

外側脚柱(5)は、その上端が天板(1)の下面から下方に若干離れた位置で終わり、下端部内面に軸受部材(7)が固着されている。

軸受部材(7)の中心軸孔(7a)には、その下部に、細かいピッチの雌ねじが切られており、この下部雌ねじ部(8)に、キャスター(2)のキャスター軸(2a)が螺合固定されている。

軸受部材(7)の中心軸孔(7a)の上部には、荒いピッチの雄ねじが切られており、この上部雌ねじ部(9)に、同じくピッチの荒い上向きの雄ねじ杆(10)の下端部が螺入され、平ワッシャ(11)、スプリングワッシャ(12)及びナット(13)により堅く締め込まれて固着されている。場合によっては、雄ねじ杆(10)を軸受部材(7)に、例えば溶接により固着してもよい。このようにすれば、軸受部材(7)の中心軸孔(7a)の上部にねじを切ることも、ナットや、ワッシャなどの固着手段も不要となる。

請求項1記載の発明によれば、脚の高さ調整のために外側脚柱を回転させる回数が少なくなり、調整の手間、及び時間を大幅に少なくすることができる。

In the conventional device described above, a male screw rod rising from a lower portion of the outer pillar is screwed into a female screw cylinder provided at a lower end portion of the inner pillar, and the outer pillar is rotated. Although the pillars are moved in and out, since the pitch of the male screw and the female screw is a normal fine pitch for the caster shaft, it takes time and effort to ascend and descend. That is, the caster shaft needs to have a fine pitch in order to be strongly tightened. However, if the caster shaft having the fine pitch is used as it is, the pitch is too fine and the table must be turned many times to move up and down. Since such an elevating operation is performed on all four pillars, it takes time for adjustment.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a table height adjusting device which requires only a small number of rotations of the pedestal to adjust the length of the pedestal of the table, and requires only a short adjustment time.

According to the present invention, the above-mentioned problem is solved as follows.
