Description

【0001】
【0016】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hair removal composition, and more particularly, to a hair removal composition having excellent hair removal performance, little irritation to skin, and excellent storage stability.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Body hairs such as hand and foot fur and armpit hair are called waste hair in women, and it is generally performed as an etiquette to make them inconspicuous or removed. As a method of treating this waste hair, a method of shaving with a razor or the like, physically pulling out with an adhesive tape, or bleaching hair by chemical decolorization is used.
[0003]
In addition, a hair remover using a mercapto compound such as thioglycolic acid is also widely used, which is a method of removing hair by softening the hair by cleaving cystine bonds in the hair. Conventionally, in this type of hair remover, it is known to use a mercapto compound and an alkali agent, and by making the pH high using an alkali agent, the hair is swollen and a mercapto compound such as calcium thioglycolate is used. In general, the activity of is increased. Generally, calcium hydroxide is generally blended as an alkaline agent. Furthermore, an emulsifier is used, oil is blended, and calcium hydroxide or calcium salt of thioglycolic acid is emulsified for easy use. It is said that. These hair removal agents prevent such a phenomenon because, when stored for a long period of time, a fine calcium salt precipitates or a needle-like substance having high hardness is easily released from the emulsion. As a method, a hair removal composition (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-170624) comprising thioglycolic acid, a specific alkali agent and an oily substance has been shown, and attempts have been made to improve stability and functionality.
[0004]
The conventional cream-like hair remover is a method in which a cream is applied to a site where hair removal is to be performed, and a wiping operation is performed after leaving for a certain period of time. There are individual differences depending on etc. In the conventional cream-like hair remover, the hair to be removed is hidden in the cream and the hair softens and it is difficult to understand the timing of wiping. In other words, it has the disadvantages of being unable to do so, or on the contrary, leaving it for a long time to cause skin troubles. Therefore, since the state of the hair being treated can be observed and the hair removal completion is known, the hair removal treatment will not fail. Therefore, a hair removal composition that is easy to carry out hair removal treatment is strongly desired. It was.
[0005]
The present invention has been made under such circumstances, and its object is to provide a hair removal composition having excellent hair removal performance, less irritation to the skin, and excellent storage stability. There is.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In such a situation, as a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have formulated the above object by blending carboxymethyl cellulose having a specific degree of etherification with a hair removal composition comprising a mercapto compound and a water-soluble alkaline agent. The present invention was completed.
[0007]
That is, the present invention provides one or more water-soluble alkaline agents selected from mercapto compounds, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and phosphates thereof, and alkali metal salts of carboxymethyl cellulose having a degree of etherification of 1.0 or more. Alternatively, the present invention provides a transparent hair removal composition containing an ammonium salt.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
[0009]
Examples of the mercapto compound used in the present invention include thioglycolic acid, cysteine, acetylcysteine, thiourea, thiolactic acid and the like, and alkali metal salts, ammonium salts, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine and the like. Organic alkali salts of One or two or more of these mercapto compounds can be appropriately selected and used. Preferred mercapto compounds are thioglycolic acid and its salts. The compounding amount of the mercapto compound is 2.0 to 10.0% by mass (hereinafter simply referred to as “%”), and preferably 3.0 to 5.0%. If the mercapto compound is less than 2.0%, the hair removal property may be extremely deteriorated. On the other hand, if it is more than 10.0%, irritation to the skin may be increased, which is not preferable.
[0010]
Water-soluble alkaline agents used in the present invention are inorganic and organic alkalis that are transparently soluble in water, and include sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, disodium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, trisodium phosphate, and phosphoric acid. Examples include inorganic alkalis such as tripotassium, sodium silicate and sodium metasilicate, and organic alkalis such as ammonia, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, diisopropanolamine, aminomethylpropanol and arginine. Moreover, 1 type, or 2 or more types can be suitably selected and used from these water-soluble alkaline agents. Preferred water-soluble alkaline agents are sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and phosphates thereof. The blending amount of these water-soluble alkaline agents is usually 0.5 to 20%, preferably 1.0 to 10%. Moreover, it is preferable to mix | blend so that pH of a hair removal composition may become the range of 11-13.5. If the pH is lower than 11, the hair removal property is deteriorated, and it may take time to remove the hair. If the pH exceeds 13.5, irritation to the skin may be increased, which is not preferable.
[0011]
The alkali metal salt or ammonium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose used in the present invention is an alkali metal salt or ammonium salt of polyvalent carboxymethyl ether of cellulose and has a degree of etherification of 1.0 or more. When the degree of etherification is less than 1.0, the transparency becomes dull and the object of the present invention cannot be achieved. And it is still more preferable in the etherification degree being 2.0 or more. In addition, the metal salt of carboxymethyl cellulose in the present invention is a lithium salt, potassium salt, sodium salt, etc., and sodium salts that are widely produced industrially are most commonly used. In addition, the ammonium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose exhibits excellent performance in the present invention as well as the sodium salt.
[0012]
The blending amount of the alkali metal salt or ammonium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose is preferably 0.5 to 20%, more preferably 2.0 to 10%. If it is less than 0.5%, it may flow down when the composition is applied to the skin, which may cause problems such as soiling clothes, and if it exceeds 20%, it may be difficult to dissolve in production, The mercapto compound is not preferred because it may impair the penetration of hair into the hair.
[0013]
In addition, the hair removal composition of the present invention includes other components used in normal cosmetics, for example, water, fragrances, ethanol, alcohols such as polyhydric alcohols, anionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, Surfactants such as cationic surfactants, preservatives, UV inhibitors, sequestering agents, vitamins, plant extracts, collagen extracts, and other animal extracts, oils, preservatives, moisturizers, anti-inflammatory agents, It is possible to mix | blend a coloring agent etc. suitably in the range which does not impair the effect of this invention.
[0014]
As is clear from the above, the hair removal composition of the present invention is a hair removal composition excellent in hair removal performance, less irritating to the skin, and excellent in storage stability. Shape, lotion shape, cream shape, gel shape, aerosol shape and the like, but a preferable form is a transparent gel shape which does not sag from the skin surface and is easy to carry out hair removal treatment.
[0015]
