本発明は、毛髪に所望のくせ付けをするために用いられる毛髪保持具に関する。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
特開平１０−１９２０３６号公報には、屈曲自在で且つその屈曲形状の保持が可能な塑性変形部材を筒状体の長手方向に沿って取り付けてなり、該筒状体内に毛髪を取り込んだ状態で塑性変形部材を変形させることで毛髪の巻回状態を保持する毛髪巻取具が記載されている。この毛髪巻取具では、毛髪を取り込んだ後に前記筒状体を巻回させる操作を行うことで毛髪にくせ付けをしている。しかし、この巻回操作を使用者自身で行うには操作性が良好でなく時間と手間のかかるものとなる。

従って、本発明は、毛髪に容易にくせ付けを行うことのできる毛髪保持具を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、可撓性を有する２枚のシート材を細長の扁平な袋状に形成して構成され、開口した一端部及び他端部を有しており、かかる両端部のうち一端部は毛髪取り込み口となっており、
前記２枚のシート材は、その両側縁部同士が接合されて側縁接合部が形成されていると共にその中心線に沿って断続的に接合されて点状の中央接合部が多数形成されており、
前記側縁接合部と前記中央接合部によって長手方向に延びる毛髪挿入空間が形成され、毛髪が隣り合う該中央接合部の間を横切るように挿通されることで、該毛髪が波形形状に蛇行するようになされている毛髪保持具を提供することにより前記目的を達成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明を、その好ましい実施形態に基づき図面を参照しながら説明する。図１（ａ）には本発明の毛髪処理器具の一実施形態をの平面図が示されている。また図１（ｂ）及び図１（ｃ）には、図１（ａ）におけるｂ−ｂ線断面図及びｃ−ｃ線断面図が示されている。

毛髪処理器具１は、細長形状であり、毛髪の保持が可能になされている毛髪保持具２と毛髪挿入具３とを具備している。

毛髪保持具２は細長筒形状をしており、可撓性を有するシート材を細長の扁平な袋状に形成して構成されている。毛髪は毛髪保持具２内に挿入されて保持される。毛髪保持具２は、一端部及び他端部を有しており、各端部は開口している。両端部のうち上端部は毛髪取り込み口４となっている。毛髪保持具２の長さは、処理すべき毛髪の長さに応じて適切な長さとされ、好ましくは処理すべき毛髪の長さよりも長くなっている。毛髪保持具２の長さは一般に５０〜６００ｍｍ程度の範囲である。またその幅は一般に１０〜１５０ｍｍ程度である。

毛髪保持具２は、細長い短冊状のシート材２１，２２が２枚接合されて構成されている。各シート材２１，２２は同一形状であり、その両側部同士が所定の接合手段で接合されて側縁接合部２３，２３を形成している。また、各シート材２１，２２は、その縦中心線に沿って断続的に接合されており、これによって所定間隔を置いた点状の中央接合部２４が多数形成されている。中央接合部２４同士の距離は、毛髪にどの程度のくせ付けをさせたいかに応じて適宜調整する。一般に中央接合部２４同士の距離は１０〜１００ｍｍ程度となっている。これらの接合部２３，２４によって、毛髪保持具２の内部には空間が形成される。斯かる空間は、後述するように、毛髪が毛髪保持具２の扁平面内において蛇行するように形成されているものである。

毛髪保持具２を構成するシート材としては、各種可撓性材料が用いられる。その例としては、不織布、多孔性又は非多孔性の樹脂フィルム、紙、樹脂ネット、又はこれらの複合体などが挙げられ、毛髪保持具２の具体的用途に応じて適切な材料が選択される。例えば、毛髪保持具２内に挿入された状態の毛髪に対して毛髪保持具２の外部から毛髪処理剤を施したいときには、該毛髪処理剤に対して透過性を有する材料を用いればよい。

次に毛髪挿入具３について引き続き図１（ａ）〜図１（ｃ）を参照しながら説明する。毛髪挿入具３は、細長形状の把持部９と、該把持部９の先端に取り付けられたフック部１０とを備えている。フック部１０は、毛髪保持具２内に挿入される毛髪を引っかけるために用いられ、変形可能になされている。本実施形態の毛髪挿入具３は、一本の線材から構成されている。毛髪挿入具３の全長は毛髪保持具２の全長よりも長くなっている。毛髪挿入具３は、これを引っ張って毛髪を毛髪保持具２内に挿入するときに、引きちぎれない程度の強度及び挿入操作を円滑に行い得る柔軟性を有していることが好ましく、この点から、各種樹脂などの合成物、木綿や麻などの天然物、レーヨンなどの半天然物、各種金属、又はこれらの複合体などから構成されていることが好ましい。特に、操作性、取り扱い性及び毛髪処理剤に対する耐食性などの点から、金属製の針金を合成樹脂で被覆したものが好ましく用いられる。毛髪挿入具３は、糸状のものに限られず、例えば細長い帯状のものであってもよい。

毛髪挿入具３は毛髪保持具２内に挿入された状態で使用される。詳細には、図１（ａ）に示すように、毛髪挿入具３のフック部１０を毛髪保持具２の毛髪取り込み口４側に向けて挿入された状態で使用される。毛髪挿入具３の把持部９は、毛髪保持具２内部の空間に挿通される。把持部９の端部は、毛髪保持具２の下端部から外方に延ばしておく。図１（ａ）に示すように、把持部９は、隣り合う中央接合部２４の間を横切るように挿通される。その結果、把持部９は扁平な毛髪保持具２の扁平面内を、蛇行した波形形状に挿通されることになる。この場合、使用前に毛髪挿入具３が予め個別に毛髪保持具２に取り付られた状態の毛髪処理器具１を用いてもよく、或いは毛髪処理器具１を使用するときに毛髪挿入具３を毛髪保持具２に取り付けてもよい。予め取り付けられていると、製品の製造工程において最適な状態で毛髪保持具２に取り付けることができ、使用者が使用時に取り付ける場合に比べて、取り付けの失敗がない。

次に、本実施形態の毛髪処理器具１の使用方法について図２（ａ）及び図２（ｂ）を参照しながら説明する。先ず図２（ａ）に示すように、毛髪挿入具３のフック部１０を、毛髪保持具２の毛髪取り込み口４から突出させる。そして、フック部１０に所望量の毛髪Ｈを引っかけ、この状態下に毛髪挿入具３の下端部から引き出されている毛髪挿入具３の把持部９を引っ張る。これによって、フック部１０に引っかけられている毛髪Ｈがフック部１０と共に毛髪保持具２内に挿入される。図２（ａ）に示すように把持部９は、毛髪保持具２の扁平面内を、蛇行した波形形状に挿通されているので、フック部１０と共に毛髪保持具２内に挿入された毛髪Ｈは、図２（ｂ）に示すように毛髪保持具２の扁平面内において、蛇行した波形形状に挿通される。フック部１０は、毛髪保持具２の下端部を通じて毛髪保持具２の外に引き出される。

このようにして毛髪保持具２内に挿入された毛髪Ｈは、該毛髪保持具２内において、蛇行した波形形状となった状態が保持されるので、この状態を長時間維持すれば、毛髪Ｈにウエーブ状のくせ付けがされる。また毛髪保持具２が、パーマネント処理剤などの毛髪処理剤に対して透過性を有する材料、例えば不織布や樹脂製ネットから構成されている場合には、毛髪保持具２の外部から該毛髪処理剤を施すことによって、くせ付けのされたパーマネント処理が施される。

次に、本発明の第２〜第７の実施形態について図３〜図８を参照しながら説明する。これらの実施形態については、第１の実施形態と異なる点についてのみ説明し、特に説明しない点については、第１の実施形態に関して詳述した説明が適宜適用される。また、図３〜図８において、図１及び図２と同じ部材に同じ符号を付してある。

図３（ａ）及び図３（ｂ）に示す第２の実施形態、並びに図４（ａ）及び図４（ｂ）に示す第３の実施形態においては、毛髪保持具２は、細長い短冊状のシート材２１，２２が２枚接合されて構成されている。両シート材の接合によって、毛髪保持具２には接合部２５と非接合部２６とが形成される。接合部２５は、各シート材２１，２２の非接合部２６によって、毛髪保持具２の長手方向に延びる蛇行した空間が、縦中心線に沿って形成されるような接合形状になっている。第２の実施形態と第３の実施形態が異なる点は、第２の実施形態では、非接合部２６によって形成された空間以外の領域はすべて接合部２５となっているのに対して、第３の実施形態では、蛇行した非接合部２６の両側にのみ線状の接合部２５が形成されており、各シート材２１，２２の両側部では両シートが接合されていない点である。両実施形態における空間の蛇行の程度は、毛髪にどの程度のくせ付けをさせたいかに応じて適宜調整する。

図５（ａ）及び図５（ｂ）に示す第４の実施形態においては、毛髪保持具２は、細長い短冊状のシート材２１，２２が２枚接合されて構成されている。各シート材２１，２２は、その左右両側部同士が所定の接合手段で接合されて左右の側縁接合部２３，２３を形成している。各側縁接合部２３には、内方へ向かって突出した突出接合部２７が延設されている。各突出接合部２７は、長手方向に所定間隔を置いて形成されている。左右それぞれの側縁部に形成されている突出接合部２７は、一方の側縁部に形成されている突出接合部２７が、他方の側縁部に形成されている隣り合う突出接合部２７，２７の中間の位置に位置するように形成されている。つまり左右の突出接合部は互い違いの位置に形成されている。本実施形態における突出接合部２７の形状は山形をしている。しかし、突出接合部２７の形状はこれに限られず例えば三角形や矩形であってもよい。本実施形態においては、接合部２３，２５以外の領域である非接合部によって、毛髪保持具２の長手方向に延びる蛇行した空間が、縦中心線に沿って形成される。

図６に示す第５の実施形態の毛髪保持具２は、第１の実施形態における毛髪保持具が多列に並設されたものに相当する。尚、図６では毛髪挿入具が省略されている。本実施形態の毛髪保持具２は、矩形のシート材を２枚重ね、長手方向に延びる線状の接合部２３によって接合することで形成される。接合部２３は、シート材の幅方向に所定間隔を置いて多数形成されている。隣り合う接合部２３の間の距離は、第１の実施形態の毛髪保持具の幅と同様とすることができる。隣り合う接合部２３の間には、それらの中間の位置に、長手方向に延びる点状の中央接合部２４が所定間隔を置いて多数形成されている。隣り合う中央接合部２４間の距離は第１の実施形態の毛髪保持具と同様とすることができる。本実施形態の毛髪保持具２によれば、第１の実施形態の毛髪保持具に比べて、多量の毛髪を一度にくせ付けできる。

図７に示す第６の実施形態の毛髪保持具２は、第１の実施形態における毛髪保持具が厚さ方向に複数個重ねられたものに相当する。本実施形態の毛髪保持具２は、細長い短冊状のシート材２１の各面に、該シート材２１と同形状のシート材２２Ａ，２２Ｂがそれぞれ重ね合わされている。各シート材２１，２２Ａ，２２Ｂは、その両側部同士が所定の接合手段で接合されており、これによって側縁接合部２３，２３が形成されている。また、各シート材２１，２２Ａ，２２Ｂは、その縦中心線に沿って断続的に接合されており、これによって所定間隔を置いた点状の中央接合部２４が多数形成されている。本実施形態の毛髪保持具２によっても、第５の実施形態と同様に、第１の実施形態の毛髪保持具に比べて、多量の毛髪を一度にくせ付けできる。

図８に示す第７の実施形態の毛髪保持具２は、これまで説明した実施形態のものと異なり円管から構成されている。この円管は螺旋状に巻回されている。本実施形態によれば毛髪は螺旋状にくせ付けされる。

本発明は前記実施形態に制限されない。例えば、第１から第６の実施形態においては、毛髪保持具に所定の巻き上げ手段を付加してもよい。巻き上げ手段としては、毛髪保持具を手で巻き上げた後にクリップやピンで巻き上げ状態を固定する手段や、毛髪保持具に自己接着性を付与する手段がある。更に、巻き上げ手段として巻き上げ用糸や熱収縮を利用することも可能である。毛髪保持具に毛髪を挿入した後に巻き上げることで、更に複雑な三次元状のくせ付けを行うことが可能となる。具体的には、第１の実施形態を例にとれば、図９（ａ）に示すように、巻き上げ手段として巻き上げ用糸６が用いられる。巻き上げ用糸６は、毛髪保持具２の長手方向に伸びており、ぐし縫い状に毛髪保持具２を貫通するように取り付けられている。詳細には、毛髪保持具２を正面から視たときに、巻き上げ用糸６が、毛髪保持具２の正面側と背面側とを交互に通過するように、毛髪保持具２に取り付けられている。巻き上げ用糸６は、各中央接合部２４を貫通している。巻き上げ用糸６は、毛髪保持具２の最下端に位置する中央接合部２４の位置において引き抜かれないようになされている。具体的には、巻き上げ用糸６の一端を、最下端に位置する中央接合部２４で毛髪保持具２に固定することで、その引き抜きを防止している。一方、毛髪取り込み口４に最も近い位置にある中央接合部２４においては、巻き上げ用糸６が自由状態となっている。

毛髪保持具２に取り付けられている巻き上げ用糸６の自由端を引っ張ると、図９（ｂ）に示すように、毛髪保持具２は毛髪（図示せず）と共に蛇腹状に折り畳まれ、毛髪は略ジグザグ形に屈曲される。そして、その屈曲状態を保持するために、毛髪保持具２から引き出されている巻き上げ用糸６の根元をクリップ（図示せず）で係止する。

巻き上げ手段の別の例として、第１の実施形態の毛髪保持具２を構成するシート材の少なくとも一つとして熱収縮性の材料を用いても良い。具体的には、毛髪保持具２を構成する２枚のシート材のうちの一方として熱収縮性を有するシートを用い、他方のシートとして熱収縮性を有しないシートを用いる。これらの材料から製造された毛髪保持具内に毛髪を挿入した後、ヘアドライヤなどを用いて毛髪保持具を加熱すれば、図１０に示すように、毛髪保持具２はそれに挿入されている毛髪と共に、熱収縮性を有するシート側を内側としてロール状に巻き上げられる。この巻き上げ形態は、毛髪保持具２への熱の付与を止めた後も保持される。従って、図９（ａ）に示す実施形態の毛髪保持具と異なり、本実施形態の毛髪保持具には、巻き上げ形態を保持するための手段が不要であるという利点がある。
