The cleaning cloth is supplied with water and humidified through the watering roller, and the printing paper is used by the cleaning cloth. The present invention relates to a paper dust removing device for printing paper that wipes off paper dust.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, an uncontaminated cloth winding roll wound with an uncontaminated cleaning cloth, a watering roller that presses the cleaning cloth fed out from the uncontaminated cloth winding roll against the running printing paper, and the printing paper contacted There is a paper dust removing device for printing paper provided with a contaminated cloth take-up roll for taking up a subsequent cleaning cloth (see JP-A-6-320711 and JP-A-5-183112).
[0003]
In the paper dust removing device, the cleaning cloth is supplied with moisture through a watering roller, and the paper dust on the printing paper is wiped off with the cleaning cloth. The watering roller is positioned with respect to the printing paper. In addition, as the cleaning cloth, a non-woven fabric having water retention property is used in order to increase the amount of other contaminant particles such as paper dust attached to the surface of the printing paper per unit area.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the conventional paper dust removing device described above, the nonwoven fabric used as the cleaning cloth generally stretches when given water, and the elasticity is remarkably lowered, and between the surface of the watering roller. Due to the generated adhesive force due to water, there was a problem that the water-rolling roller was pulled in the rotating direction and locally stretched. The amount of elongation is not uniform in the width direction of the cleaning cloth, but is particularly large near the center, so that a flat and uniform contact surface cannot be formed on the cleaning cloth over the entire width direction of the printing paper. It was.
[0005]
Further, due to insufficient cleaning cloth feeding amount with respect to the amount of foreign matters such as paper dust and contamination particles on the surface of the printing paper, and other factors, these foreign matters cannot be sufficiently taken into the cleaning cloth, and these foreign matters are Sometimes it slipped out to the back of the cleaning cloth. In such a case, foreign matter adhered to the surface of the watering roller, and the water in the water boat supplying water to the watering roller was contaminated. Further, in the conventional paper dust removing device described above, since the watering roller and the like are fixedly disposed, the cleaning cloth is pressed against the printing paper by the watering roller according to the quality of the printing paper and the amount of paper dust. The amount of application could not be adjusted.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and a flat and uniform contact surface (cleaning surface) can be constantly formed on the cleaning cloth over the entire width direction of the printing paper. 【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the paper dust removing device for printing paper according to the present invention, a woven cloth is interposed between the watering roller and the cleaning cloth, and water on the surface of the watering roller is discharged through the woven cloth. Since the cleaning cloth is supplied with water and humidified, the cleaning cloth is not pulled by the watering roller due to the adhesive force of water generated between the cleaning cloth and the surface of the watering roller. Moreover, even if a water film is uneven on the surface of the watering roller, the water transferred to the woven fabric is diffused in the woven fabric by capillary action. For this reason, since water is uniformly supplied from the woven cloth to the cleaning cloth, a flat and uniform cleaning surface is formed on the cleaning cloth, and the foreign matter on the printing paper can be sufficiently wiped at all times.
[0023]
Furthermore, if the cleaning cloth is torn or if foreign matter on the printing paper comes out of the cleaning cloth, the foreign matter that has come out is received by the woven cloth, and the foreign matter on the woven cloth is As the cleaning cloth is fed to the contaminated cloth winding roll, the cleaning cloth is wiped off on the back surface and sent to the contaminated cloth winding roll, so that the water in the water boat is not contaminated.
[0024]
In addition, since the watering roller is provided with positioning means for moving the watering roller toward the printing paper and positioning the printing paper, the cleaning cloth and the printing paper are brought into contact with each other by the positioning means. Depending on the amount of paper dust, the amount of pressing of the cleaning cloth against the printing paper by the watering roller can be adjusted.
