本発明は、遊技機島側からホース部材に通した遊技媒体を遊技機側に補給するようにした遊技媒体の補給装置に関するものである。

従来の遊技媒体の補給装置としては、スプリングホースが遊技機島側の玉補給樋の分岐装置からホース取付筒の上方へ延ばされ、ホース取付筒が略くの字形に湾曲していて、その基部側では上面板に取り付けられたホルダによって、回転自在に取付られている。ホース取付筒の基部が通過孔に連続して賞球が通過できるようにされている。ホース取付筒の先端部は略水平方向を向いていて、ホース取付筒の先端部にはその筒軸方向にスライド可能に締め付け環が外嵌している。この締め付け環によって、スプリングホースをホース取付筒から抜けないようにしている(特許文献1参照。)。

しかしながら前記従来の遊技媒体の補給装置では、例えば、遊技機島の補給樋の終端のように、補給樋の分岐装置からホース取付筒までの距離を十分に取れないで、スプリングホースが短めの場合に、スプリングホースの先端部をホース取付筒に接続するには、スプリングホースの先端部を大きな曲率で曲げて、スプリングホースの先端部を略水平方向に向け、ホース取付筒の先端部と対向させてから、スプリングホースの先端部をホース取付筒の先端部に接続する必要がある。
