本発明は、釣竿を構成する竿体の竿元側端部に装着される「尻栓」と呼ばれる栓部材に関する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、振出形式の釣竿等にあっては、竿体同士を連結固定して一本の釣竿として魚釣りを行っているうちに竿体同士が強固に連結されてしまい、いわゆる竿体同士の固着という現象が生じることもある。このような場合、一般に、釣人は元竿の竿元側端部を他部材に強く叩き付ける等して、固着を解除している。

上述のように、破損防止の趣旨からは尻栓の竿元側端部に弾性ゴム等を配置するのが好ましい。しかし、竿体の固着解除の際にはこのような弾性ゴムが逆に衝撃を吸収してしまい邪魔ともなる。
さらに、釣りを行って手が濡れた場合、この濡れた手で尻栓を竿体に脱着するべく尻栓を回動させるのは滑り易い。特に、弾性ゴム等を尻栓の竿元側端部に配置する場合、濡れた手で弾性ゴムを摘んで操作するのは滑り易い。

【課題を解決するための手段】
発明1の尻栓は、釣竿を構成する竿体の竿元側端部に脱着自在に装着される尻栓であって、竿体の竿元側端部に螺合するネジ部と、ネジ部の竿元側に形成された、指で摘むための円盤部分を有する操作部と、略円筒型の弾性体であり、その穂先側端部が円盤部分の穂先側に於いて操作部に連結され、操作部の円盤部分の周縁を覆いつつ竿元側端部が円盤部分より竿元側に突出するゴムカバー部とを備える。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の1つの実施形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。
図1及び図2に示すように、本発明のある実施形態を採用した尻栓1は、釣竿の最も竿元側に位置する元竿Rの竿元側端部に脱着自在に装着されている。具体的には、元竿Rの竿元側端部内周面に直接形成されたナット部分若しくは別途装着されたナット部材に、尻栓1が螺合している。

尻栓1は、元竿Rの竿元側端部に螺合するネジ部2と、ネジ部2の竿元側に形成された操作部3と、操作部3の周面に配置されるゴムカバー部4とからなる。
ネジ部2は、周面にネジ溝が形成され、元竿Rの竿元側端部内に挿入されそのナット部分に螺合するように加工されている部分である。
操作部3は、このネジ部2の竿元側においてネジ部2より大径に張り出した鍔部分5と、鍔部分5の竿元側に連続し鍔部分5より小径に縊れた首部分6と、首部分6の竿元側に連続し首部分6より大径且つ鍔部分5より小径の円盤部分7とを有している。このネジ部2及び操作部3は、硬質の合成樹脂若しくは金属から一体的に形成されている。鍔部分5の外径は元竿Rの外径に合致するように設定するのが好ましい。また、円盤部分7は尻栓1の径方向に位置する円盤型の部分である。その周面に周方向に間隔を隔てて尻栓1の軸方向に延びる複数のローレット溝などが形成される。
