この発明はテンプレート作成装置およびテンプレート作成方法に関し、さらに詳しくは、携帯端末に対して無線で情報を送受信する基地局にネットワークを介して接続可能なテンプレート作成装置およびテンプレート作成装置を用いたテンプレート作成方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、複数のウェブサーバにより提供される複数のウェブページは、パーソナルコンピュータ等の固定端末を用いてネットワークを介して閲覧されていた。さらに近年、携帯電話機やＰＤＡ（Personal Digital Assistant：個人用携帯型情報端末）等の携帯端末においても複数のウェブページをネットワークを介して閲覧することが可能となっている。

固定端末は通常、家庭で利用されるものであるため、固定端末自体のサイズについては制限を受けない。つまり、画面の表示領域は制限される必要がない。また、ネットワークを介してウェブサーバと送受信を行なう際の通信速度を高速にするために、固定端末内の通信回路を大きくし、その結果固定端末自体のサイズが大きくなっても特に問題は発生しない。

これに対し、携帯端末はユーザが常に携帯できることを目的としていることから、携帯端末のサイズは制限される。よって、画面の表示領域も制限される。さらに、通信回路のサイズも小さくする必要があるため、携帯端末の通信速度も制限を受ける。

以上の結果、固定端末では情報処理能力が高いのに対し、携帯端末では情報処理能力は低い。そこで、固定端末で閲覧されるウェブページと、携帯端末で閲覧されるウェブページとでは、ウェブページの作成に使用するプログラム言語が異なったものとなっている。具体的には、固定端末で閲覧されるウェブページの作成に使用される言語はＨＴＭＬ（Hyper Text Markup Language）である。一方、携帯端末で閲覧されるウェブページに使用される言語はＨＤＭＬ（Handheld Device Markup Language）またはＷＭＬ（Wireless Markup Language）である。

よって、以前は、ＨＴＭＬ言語で記述されたウェブページをユーザが携帯端末を用いて閲覧することはできなかった。

しかしながら近年、ＨＴＭＬ言語をＨＤＭＬまたはＷＭＬ言語に変換して送信する変換サーバがネットワーク上に登場したことから、携帯端末においてもＨＴＭＬ言語で作成されたウェブページを閲覧することが可能となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ＨＴＭＬ言語で作成されたウェブページは原則固定端末での閲覧を想定した構成となっている。よって、ＨＴＭＬ言語で作成されたウェブページを変換サーバを介して携帯端末で閲覧すると、大量の情報が表示されることになる。

よって、ユーザがＨＴＭＬ言語で作成された複数のウェブページを連続して携帯端末に表示した場合、かなり見づらい画面表示となる。

また、ＨＴＭＬ言語で作成されたウェブページは大量の情報量を有している。よって、ＨＴＭＬで作成されたウェブページを携帯端末に表示するためには、固定端末に表示するより時間がかかる。その結果、携帯端末を用いて、自分の閲覧したいウェブページを探してアクセスするまでには相当の時間を要することとなる。その結果、通信料金が多大にかかる。

前記携帯端末の利用条件である入力利用条件を入力する利用条件入力手段と、
前記携帯端末への送信先を特定する情報を入力する送信先入力手段と、
前記携帯端末のユーザが閲覧を希望するウェブサーバ内の特定のウェブページのアドレス情報を入力するアドレス情報入力手段と、
前記入力利用条件と前記アドレス情報入力手段により入力されたアドレス情報とに基づいて、前記携帯端末が前記特定のウェブページに容易にアクセスするためのテンプレートを作成するテンプレート作成手段と、
予め定められた複数種類の携帯端末の利用条件である予定利用条件を保存する利用条件保存手段と、
前記予定利用条件毎に対応させ予め定められた複数種類のアイコンであって絵文字で構成されたアイコンを保存するアイコン保存手段と、
