BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a roller support that rotatably supports a roller, and more particularly to a roller support that supports a driven roller that constitutes a transport roller for transporting a recording material in a recording apparatus such as an ink jet printer. The present invention also relates to a recording apparatus and a liquid ejecting apparatus provided with the roller support.
[0002]
Here, the liquid ejecting apparatus uses an ink jet recording head, and is not limited to a recording apparatus such as a printer, a copying machine, and a facsimile machine that discharges ink from the recording head to perform recording on a recording medium. And a device that ejects the liquid corresponding to the application from the liquid ejecting head corresponding to the ink jet recording head to the ejected medium corresponding to the recording material, and adheres the liquid to the ejected medium. .
[0003]
In addition to the recording head, as a liquid ejecting head, a color material ejecting head used for manufacturing a color filter such as a liquid crystal display, and an electrode material (conductive paste) used for forming an electrode such as an organic EL display or a surface emitting display (FED) Examples thereof include an ejection head, a bioorganic matter ejection head used for biochip production, and a sample ejection head as a precision pipette.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the conveyance driven
[0010]
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and the problem is that the mounting workability is further improved, and further, the roller support that does not cause unevenness in the pressure contact force between the driven roller and the driving roller. To get a body.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, the first aspect of the present invention includes a roller shaft support portion that rotatably supports a driven roller that rotates in contact with a drive roller that is driven to rotate, and a mounted portion. And a roller support that presses the driven roller against the drive roller by the biasing force of the torsion coil spring that exerts a biasing force between the roller shaft support portion and the axis of the coil portion of the torsion coil spring. The coil portion is fitted to the attached portion formed by a protrusion that is arranged so as to be substantially orthogonal to the axis of the driven roller and protrudes in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axis of the driven roller. It is attached by combining.
[0012]
According to the first aspect, the axis of the coil portion of the torsion coil spring that biases the roller support is in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the driven roller, that is, in the direction in which the roller support is attached to the attached portion. It is arranged. Similarly, the attached portion is configured to protrude in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axis of the driven roller, and the coil portion of the torsion coil spring is thus fitted almost straightly to the attached portion. By doing so, the mounting operation of the roller support is completed, so that the mounting operation of the roller support becomes extremely easy. Furthermore, since the roller support can be easily removed in the opposite direction, for example, when the roller support is applied to a recording apparatus (for example, an ink jet printer), the recording apparatus can be easily disassembled. Thus, it is possible to obtain a recording apparatus that is excellent in recyclability and is environmentally friendly.
[0013]
In addition, since it is not necessary to slide the roller support while the driven roller and the driving roller are in pressure contact with each other, the surface condition of the driven roller is not deteriorated, and the driven roller and the driven roller are transported. The conveyance accuracy of the medium is not reduced.
In addition, the roller support body can easily swing in the direction in which the angle formed by the axis of the driven roller and the axis of the drive roller changes around the coil portion of the torsion coil spring. The pressure contact force of the driven roller with respect to the roller can be easily made uniform in the axial direction, and this also makes it possible to transport the transported medium more appropriately.
[0014]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect, the two driven rollers having the same axis are provided, and a coil portion of the torsion coil spring is disposed at an intermediate position between the two driven rollers. In addition, two spring ends extending from the coil portion are provided so as to extend toward the two driven rollers, respectively.
According to the second aspect, the roller support has the two driven rollers having the same axis, and the coil portion of the torsion coil spring is disposed at an intermediate position between the two driven rollers. In addition, since the two spring ends extending from the coil portion are provided so as to extend toward the two driven rollers, respectively, it is possible to apply a load equally to the two driven rollers. It is possible to execute an appropriate transport operation without applying a force to skew (slant) the transport medium.
[0015]
The third aspect of the present invention includes a roller shaft support portion that rotatably supports a driven roller that is driven and rotated in contact with a rotationally driven drive roller, and between the attached portion and the roller shaft support portion. A roller support that presses the driven roller against the drive roller by the biasing force of the torsion coil spring that exerts a biasing force at a coil axis of the torsion coil spring is substantially the same as the axis of the driven roller. Arranged so as to be perpendicular to each other, the attached portion is formed by a protruding portion protruding in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the driven roller, the coil portion is fitted to the attached portion, and Two spring ends extending from the coil portion extend to the roller support to form a point of application of a biasing force by the torsion coil spring, thereby being orthogonal to the axes of the driven roller and the driving roller. And it is provided so as the form of a shape of the torsion coil Banegaryaku c as seen from direction.
[0016]
According to the third aspect, the axis of the coil portion of the torsion coil spring that biases the roller support is in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the driven roller, that is, in the direction in which the roller support is attached to the attached portion. In addition, since it is not necessary to slide the roller support in a state where the driven roller and the driving roller are in pressure contact with each other, the surface of the driven roller is not deteriorated, and the medium to be conveyed by the driving roller and the driven roller is not deteriorated. The conveyance accuracy is not lowered.
[0017]
Next, two spring ends extending from the coil portion extend to the roller support body to form a point of application of the biasing force by the torsion coil spring, thereby making the direction perpendicular to the axis of the driven roller and the drive roller. Since the torsion coil spring is provided so as to have a substantially C-shape when viewed, the load is evenly applied to the driven roller as compared with the case where the load is applied to the driven roller by one spring end. Therefore, it is possible to execute an appropriate transport operation without applying a force for skewing (skewing) the medium to be transported.
[0018]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a recording unit that records on a recording material, a driving roller that conveys the recording material to the recording unit, and a driven roller that rotates in contact with the driving roller. A recording apparatus comprising: a conveyance roller; and a recording material discharging unit that discharges a recording material recorded by the recording unit, wherein the driven roller is any one of the first to third aspects. It is supported by the roller support described above.
According to the fourth aspect, the recording apparatus including the recording unit that performs recording on the recording material includes the roller support described in any of the first to third aspects. In the recording apparatus, it is possible to obtain the same effect as any of the first to third aspects described above.
[0019]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a liquid ejecting head that ejects liquid onto the ejected medium, a driving roller that conveys the ejected medium to the liquid ejecting head, and a driven roller that is driven and rotated in contact with the driving roller. A liquid ejecting apparatus comprising: a configured conveying roller; and an ejected medium ejection unit that ejects an ejected medium that has been liquid ejected by the liquid ejecting head, wherein the driven roller includes the driven roller. A roller support that has a roller shaft support portion that supports the shaft and that presses the driven roller against the drive roller by the biasing force of a torsion coil spring that exerts a biasing force between the mounted portion and the roller shaft support portion. The axial line of the coil portion of the torsion coil spring is supported so as to be in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axis of the driven roller, and substantially the same as the axis of the driven roller. The attached part made by the projection portion projecting direction orthogonal, characterized in that it is mounted by causing linearly fitted the coil portion.
[0020]
According to the fifth aspect, the axis of the coil portion of the torsion coil spring that biases the roller support is in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the driven roller, that is, in the direction in which the roller support is attached to the attached portion.
[0021]
In addition, since it is not necessary to slide the roller support in a state where the driven roller and the driving roller are in pressure contact with each other, the surface state of the driven roller is not deteriorated, and the jetting by the driving roller and the driven roller is performed. The conveyance accuracy of the medium is not reduced.
In addition, the roller support body can easily swing in the direction in which the angle formed by the axis of the driven roller and the axis of the drive roller changes around the coil portion of the torsion coil spring. The pressure contact force of the driven roller with respect to the roller can be easily made uniform in the axial direction, and this also makes it possible to convey the ejection medium more appropriately.
