【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、開閉体を開き駆動させる駆動手段と、開閉体の開き位置を検出する検出手段と、開閉体の全開位置を記憶する全開位置記憶手段とを備え、前記駆動手段によって前記開閉体を開き駆動させる際、前記全開位置記憶手段が記憶している全開認識位置もしくは当該全開認識位置から一定量だけ手前の位置で前記駆動手段を停止する開閉体の動作機構に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、ワンボックスカーのバックドア、トランクドアなどの開閉体には、モータやエアダンパ等の駆動手段を用いて自動的に開動作を行うものがある。具体的には、機構的な全開位置よりも閉じ側に駆動手段の駆動停止位置を設定し、その後の一定量はエアダンパ等の開閉体上昇機構によって開き動作させる。また、駆動手段の駆動停止時は、自由に開閉体が動くギア構成であったり、クラッチなどをもちいて駆動手段から開閉体を切り離すなど、手動操作を可能としている。

開閉体の動作機構に関する従来の技術には、ドアをアクチュエータで開閉操作する開閉機構を備えた自動車用ドアの自動開閉装置において、ドアの全開位置又は全閉位置の少なくとも一方を検出するスイッチと、ドア開度検出器と、上記スイッチオンの時、上記ドア開度検出器の全開又は全閉の少なくとも一方の検出装置を原点に調整する調整回路とが設けられている自動車用ドアの自動開閉装置(たとえば、特許文献1参照)や、ドアをアクチュエータで開閉操作する開閉機構を備えた自動車用ドアの自動開閉装置において、上記開閉機構に、ドアの開度に対応する信号を出力するホールセンサーでなるドア開度検出器が設けられている自動車用ドアの自動開閉装置(たとえば、特許文献2参照)や、ドアをアクチュエータで開閉操作する開閉機構を備えた自動車用ドアの自動開閉装置において、上記開閉機構に、ドアの開度に対応する信号を出力するドア開度検出器が設けられている自動車用ドアの自動開閉装置(たとえば、特許文献3参照)等がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の開閉体の動作機構は、開閉体の位置を検出するのに、位置検出スイッチを用いた位置検出や、ポテンシオメータやパルスカウントなどによる位置情報に基づいた位置検出、モータなどの開閉体駆動装置の負荷電流や油圧変動、ポテンシオメータやパルスカウント等による速度変化情報に基づいた位置検出などが行われてきた。

しかし、位置検出スイッチを設置する場合には、装置の設置によりコストが増大する。また、速度変化情報に基づいた開閉体の開位置或いは閉位置の検出では、開閉体の動作機構に負荷がかかるため機構の強化が必要となる。例えば、車両のバックドア、トランクドアなどを開閉体の動作機構により開動作させる場合、全開位置で過大な負荷がかかり、機構が強化されていない場合には建付け不良を起こす可能性がある。

位置情報に基づいて位置検出を行う場合には、速度制御や挟み込み検知などと共用できるためコストの増大を抑えられるが、車両のばらつきにより車両ごとに開閉体の停止位置が異なるため、位置検出精度が劣る。例えば、開閉体の停止位置が機構的な全開位置より大きくなると、開閉体の建付け部材の破損など建付け不良を引き起こし、開閉体の停止位置が機構的な全開位置より小さくなると、開閉体の開度が所望される開度より小さくなることによる利便性の悪化を引き起こす。更に、開閉体の開き速度の制御が実施されないことにより、開閉体の自動開き動作が見栄えの悪いものとなってしまう。

このため、物のばらつきや組み付けばらつきなどを考慮して、機構的なドア全開位置より閉じ側に全開認識位置の初期値を設定しておき、実際の開閉体の停止位置(開閉体上昇機構による開閉体の保持位置)に基づいて開閉体の全開位置を再設定することが考えられる。尚、開閉体は、駆動手段によって全開認識位置の一定量手前に設定した駆動停止位置まで開き駆動したのち、エアダンパなどの開閉体上昇機構によって全開認識位置まで押し上げられる。

ここで、開閉体が駆動停止位置より開き側に動作した場合に開き動作が正常に行われたと判断すると、駆動手段停止後、開閉体の慣性力やエアダンパの押上げ力などにより開閉体が開側に過度に動く場合があり、このような場合には、最終的な開閉体の停止位置が駆動停止位置より閉じ側であるとき(つまり、全開認識位置を閉じ側に再設定する必要があるとき)であっても、開閉体の開き動作が正常に行われたものとして判断してしまい、全開位置の再設定が正しく行われないという問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この目的を達成するための本発明に係る開閉体の動作機構の第一特徴構成は、特許請求の範囲の欄の請求項1に記載した如く、開閉体を開き駆動させる駆動手段と、前記開閉体の開き位置を検出する位置検出手段と、前記開閉体の全開位置を記憶する全開位置記憶手段と、前記駆動手段によって前記開閉体を開き駆動させる際、前記全開位置記憶手段が記憶している既存全開認識位置若しくはその既存全開認識位置から一定量だけ手前の位置で前記駆動手段を停止する開閉体の動作機構であって、前記駆動手段を停止した位置から前記開閉体の機構的な全開位置まで前記開閉体を開き動作させるよう構成した、前記開閉体を開方向に付勢する開閉体上昇機構を備え、前記駆動手段による開き駆動が終了したのちの一定時間内に、前記開閉体が閉じ側に一定量以上動作したとき、前記全開位置記憶手段が、前記既存全開認識位置よりも閉じ側の位置を新規全開認識位置として設定する点に特徴を有する。

即ち、本発明に係る開閉体の動作機構の上記第一特徴構成は、全開位置記憶手段が、現在認識している既存全開認識位置を開閉体の機構的な全開位置に順次近付けるという位置学習機能をもち、駆動手段による開き駆動が終了したのちの一定時間内に、前記開閉体が閉じ側に一定量以上動作したときに、前記既存全開認識位置よりも閉じ側の位置を新規全開認識位置として設定する。

駆動手段に開閉体上昇機構を併用する場合、全開認識位置の手前の位置で駆動手段を停止し、開閉体上昇機構によって若干の開き動作を行わせ、機構的な全開位置に開閉体を静止させている。しかし、現在の全開認識位置(既存全開認識位置)が機構的な全開位置に極めて近いか、機構的な全開位置を超えている場合等には、開閉体上昇機構による開き量が得られない場合がある。また、前記開閉体は、駆動手段による開き動作が終了したのちの一定時間内に、開き側だけでなく、閉じ側に動作することも考えられる。例えば、駆動手段に誤動作が生じ、開閉体が機構的な全開位置を越えて駆動した場合には、開閉体の取付け部を損傷するなどの不都合が生じる。

そこで、本発明に係る開閉体の動作機構のごとく、駆動手段による開き駆動が終了したのちの一定時間内に、開閉体が閉じ側に一定量以上動作したときに、新たな全開認識位置(新規全開認識位置)上記既存全開認識位置よりも閉じ側に設定するものとすれば、上記損傷などの不都合が生じるのを有効に防止することができる。

尚、上記一定時間は、物のばらつきや組み立てのばらつき等も考慮して、開閉体が安定して停止するのに必要であると考えられる時間を適切に設定することが望ましい。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係る開閉体の動作機構(以下、適宜「本発明機構」と略称する)の実施の形態について、図面に基づいて説明する。

本発明にかかる開閉体の動作機構を図1乃至図6に基づいて説明する。
本発明の開閉体は、主に、駆動モータによって自動開き動作し、ダンパ等の開閉体上昇機構を備える開閉体に適用するものであり、例えば、図1に示すワンボックスカーのバックドアや、トラックのラッゲージドアやスライドドアなどの通常の車両用ドア等にも適用することができる。また、一般の車庫の扉であって、情報に開き動作する方式の扉などにも適用可能である。

以下には、図1に示すワンボックスカーのバックドア1に適用した例を示す。
当該バックドア1は、図2に示すごとく、車体12の後部上方にドアヒンジ1aを介して取り付けてある。車体12の側には駆動手段3を設けてあり、車内に設けたメインスイッチ6あるいはバックドア1に設けたハンドルスイッチ8、あるいは、図示しないがワイヤレスのリモコンスイッチ等の操作によって、バックドア1を開き側に駆動させることができる。

前記駆動手段3は、主に、駆動モータMと、当該駆動モータMの回転速度を調節する減速機構R、当該減速機構Rとバックドア1とを連結するアーム部材3b及びロッド4、さらに前記駆動モータMの動作を制御するコントローラ5とで構成してある。また、全開位置まで動作したバックドア1を支持するエアダンパー30を前記車体12とバックドア1とに亘って設けてある。

前記駆動手段3としては、例えば、各種の直流モータを用いると共にロータリーエンコーダ等を併設して、前記コントローラ5によって駆動モータMの回転角度や回転速度を制御できるものとする。そして、当該構成は、一定時間経過後のバックドア1の位置を検出する位置検出手段として機能する。

本発明の開閉体の動作機構は、特に、バックドア1を駆動手段3によって自動開き動作させる際に、バックドア1を適正な位置まで駆動させるべくバックドア1の全開位置を学習認識させるものである。

ここで、例えば、ワンボックスカーのバックドア1には、通常、左右のエアダンパ30を備えており、全開位置でバックドア1を支持するよう構成してある。開閉体上昇機構の一例であるこのエアダンパ30は、バックドア1が全開位置近傍にあるとき伸び方向に作用する。バックドア1の開き動作に注目すると、正常な場合には、バックドア1は先ず駆動モータMによって全開認識位置もしくは全開認識位置の一定量手前に設定した前記駆動停止位置まで開き駆動される。駆動モータMには、例えば、電磁カップリングを用いたクラッチを備えてあり、駆動停止と共に当該クラッチが断たれる。拘束を失ったバックドア1は、エアダンパ30の伸び力によって上方に開き動作し、機構的な全開位置で停止する。

一般に、バックドア1の動きは前記駆動停止位置でピタリと静止するのが好ましい。しかし、現実には、機構的な全開位置よりも閉じ側に駆動停止位置を設定し、その後の一定量はエアダンパ30等によって開き動作させることとして、駆動モータMによる過大な開き動作を防止している。このように、エアダンパ30を設けることで、駆動モータMによる駆動を手前で止め、バックドア1の損傷を防止しつつ、バックドア1を機構的な全開位置まで確実に開き動作させることを可能としている。よって、上記のようなエアダンパ30による開き動作は必ず存在することになる。
そこで、本発明機構の学習態様では、主に、このようなエアダンパ30の開き動作を極力少なくして、バックドア1の見栄えの良い開き動作を実現することを目的とする。
