Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a technique for improving a working machine using both an internal combustion engine and an electric motor.
[0002]
[Prior art]

[0010]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to work only the electric motor without operating the internal combustion engine in a working machine using both the internal combustion engine and the electric motor, and temporarily run the working machine for a short distance, An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of preventing overdischarge of a battery.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of the present invention provides a work device such as a snow removal working unit on the fuselage, an internal combustion engine that drives the work device, a travel device such as a crawler or a wheel, an electric motor that drives the travel device, and an internal combustion engine A generator that supplies power to a battery or an electric motor driven by a motor, and a control unit that controls the electric motorIn this way, the working device is driven only by the internal combustion engine and the traveling device is driven only by the electric motor. In the work machine,
The control unit is configured to execute by switching to the battery mode in which the electric motor is rotated only by the electric power supplied from the battery while the internal combustion engine is stopped, and the main switch is switched from OFF to ON. In this state, the battery mode is executed only when the internal combustion engine is in a stopped state and is switched to the battery mode. When the battery mode is being executed, the internal combustion engine is started at least once. By setting the lower limit value of the remaining battery capacity necessary for the measurement in advance, constantly measuring the remaining capacity of the battery, and starting the internal combustion engine when the condition that the remaining capacity has decreased to the lower limit value of the remaining capacity is satisfied. The battery is configured to rotate the generator and charge the battery.
[0012]
According to the first aspect, the electric motor can be operated only by the electric power supplied from the battery while the internal combustion engine is stopped by switching the control unit to the battery mode. Therefore, only the electric motor can be operated without operating the internal combustion engine, and the work implement can be temporarily traveled for a short distance. The operation | work which operates an internal combustion engine is unnecessary. Since only the electric motor needs to be operated, the operation work can be simplified and the handling of the work machine can be further improved.
Furthermore, since it is not necessary to operate the internal combustion engine more than necessary, the durability of the internal combustion engine can be further increased, and the consumption of fuel and the like for operating the internal combustion engine can be further reduced.
[0013]
Furthermore, in the battery mode, when the remaining capacity of the battery decreases to the lower limit of the remaining capacity necessary for starting the internal combustion engine at least once, the internal combustion engine is automatically started to reliably start the generator. Turn to charge the battery. For this reason, even after the remaining capacity of the battery is reduced to the remaining capacity lower limit value, the operation of the electric motor can be continued as it is, and overdischarge of the battery can be prevented.
Therefore, even when the remaining capacity of the battery is reduced to the remaining capacity lower limit value, a troublesome operation is unnecessary. For example, an operation of “starting the internal combustion engine after stopping the electric motor and then restarting the electric motor” is unnecessary. The operability and handling of the work machine in the battery mode can be further enhanced.
Furthermore, the durability of the battery can be further improved by preventing the battery from being overdischarged.
[0014]
furtherClaim1When the control unit starts the internal combustion engine and turns the generator to charge the battery while the battery mode is being executed, the control unit constantly measures the remaining capacity of the battery, and according to the remaining capacity, The throttle valve opening is controlled to adjust the rotational speed, and the internal combustion engine is stopped when the condition that the remaining capacity has increased to the preset remaining capacity upper limit value of the battery is satisfied. To do.
[0015]
Claim1According to the above, in the battery mode, when the internal combustion engine is started and the battery is charged, the opening degree of the throttle valve can always be controlled in accordance with the remaining capacity of the battery that is constantly measured. Since the fuel supply amount to the internal combustion engine is controlled in accordance with the opening of the throttle valve, the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine can be adjusted. As a result, the internal combustion engine can always be operated under optimum conditions according to the state of charge of the battery.
For example, an internal combustion engine so that the amount of charge from the generator to the battery always appropriately exceeds the amount of discharge (consumption) from the battery to the electric motor, regardless of the operating status (load size, etc.) of the electric motor. By operating the, the battery can be charged efficiently.
[0016]
Furthermore, in the battery mode, when the remaining capacity of the battery increases to the remaining capacity upper limit value while charging the battery, the internal combustion engine is automatically stopped to complete the charging of the battery. While the battery mode is being executed, the internal combustion engine can be temporarily automatically operated for a short time only when the remaining capacity of the battery is reduced. The electric motor can be operated continuously regardless of the remaining capacity of the battery. Moreover, while the internal combustion engine is intermittently operated, the electric motor is continuously operated. The operation time of the electric motor alone is long. For this reason, the operativity and handling property of the work machine in the battery mode can be further enhanced. Furthermore, the durability of the battery can be further improved by preventing the battery from being overcharged.
Further, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the control of the throttle valve opening, which is executed to adjust the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine in accordance with the remaining capacity among the controls executed by the control unit, Control that increases the opening of the throttle valve so as to increase the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine so that the terminal voltage of the battery at the present time exceeds the terminal voltage at the immediately previous time when the terminal voltage at the time of It is characterized by being.
Thus, the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine can be increased by increasing the opening of the throttle valve. For this reason, the electric power generation amount (charge amount) supplied to a battery can be increased by increasing the electric power generation amount of the generator rotated with the output of an internal combustion engine. The current terminal voltage increases and exceeds the previous terminal voltage. As a result, the amount of charge to the battery exceeds the amount of discharge from the battery. Despite operating the electric motor, it can be charged efficiently.

The horizontal axis corresponds to the battery remaining capacity Ca1 (%), and the vertical axis corresponds to the terminal voltage Eb (V, volt) of the battery. It is a characteristic curve figure which obtains remaining capacity Ca1 to do.
Here, the “remaining capacity Ca1” of the battery is the amount of electricity that can be taken out when the charged battery is discharged at a constant current, and is generally the product of the discharge current and the discharge time. And Ah (ampere hour) is used as a unit. However, in the present invention, the unit of the remaining capacity Ca1 is expressed in%, and the capacity (total amount of electricity) when fully charged is expressed as 100%.
[0065]
According to this map, it can be seen that the remaining capacity Ca1 is closer to 100% as the terminal voltage Eb is larger and closer to 0% as the terminal voltage Eb is smaller. More specifically, the remaining capacity Ca1 is 70% when the terminal voltage Eb is E3, and the remaining capacity Ca1 is 50% when the terminal voltage Eb is E2. From this map, the remaining capacity Ca1 corresponding to the terminal voltage Eb at that time can be obtained.

【The invention's effect】
The present invention exhibits the following effects by the above configuration.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, the control unit is configured to execute by switching to the battery mode in which the electric motor is rotated only by the electric power supplied from the battery while the internal combustion engine is stopped. The battery mode is executed only when the main switch is switched from OFF to ON and the internal combustion engine is in a stopped state and is switched to the battery mode. Therefore, by switching the control unit to the battery mode, the electric motor can be rotated only by the electric power supplied from the battery while the internal combustion engine is stopped.
[0118]
Further, according to the first aspect, the battery remaining capacity lower limit value required for starting the internal combustion engine at least once is set in advance, the battery remaining capacity is constantly measured, and the remaining capacity is reduced to the remaining capacity lower limit value. Since the internal combustion engine is started when the condition is satisfied, the generator is turned to charge the battery, so in the battery mode, when the remaining capacity of the battery decreases to the lower limit of the remaining capacity, By starting automatically and reliably, the generator can be turned to charge the battery.
[0119]
furtherClaim1While the battery mode is running, when the internal combustion engine is started and the generator is turned to charge the battery, the remaining capacity of the battery is constantly measured, and the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is adjusted according to this remaining capacity Therefore, when the internal combustion engine is started and the battery is charged in the battery mode, the throttle valve is opened according to the battery remaining capacity that is constantly measured. The degree can always be controlled.

Further claims1Is configured to stop the internal combustion engine when the condition that the remaining capacity has increased to a preset remaining capacity upper limit value of the battery is satisfied, so in the battery mode, the remaining capacity is being charged while the battery is being charged. When the remaining capacity of the battery increases to the capacity upper limit value, the internal combustion engine is automatically stopped to complete charging of the battery.
