Description
【0001】

[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a novel mudguard capable of preventing the jumping of muddy water more reliably than before.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a mud guard that is mounted on a vehicle having a step for getting on and off at the lower front end of a cab and prevents muddy water from splashing up to the step by a front wheel, and covers the lower surface of the step with a required gap. The front and rear end portions of the step are attached to the front and rear surfaces of the step so as to be able to do so, and the portion covering the lower surface of the step has a downward slope toward the inner side in the vehicle width direction. A curved slope is formed .
[0008]
Thus, since the entire area of the lower surface of the step is covered with the mudguard in this way, no matter what pattern the muddy water is splashed by the front wheel, the mudguard can approach the lower surface of the step. This prevents the muddy water splashed by the front wheels from passing through the step from below and reaching the upper surface of the step, the door, or the like.
[0009]
In addition, since the lower surface of the step is covered with a required gap, mud etc. on the back of the shoe can be dropped under the step without any trouble as in the conventional case through the step ridge structure. Slip of shoes when getting on and off due to accumulation of mud etc. on the upper surface of the door is prevented beforehand.
[0010]
Furthermore, when viewed from the side of the vehicle, which is the direction of getting into the cab, the mudguard is almost hidden under the step, and the presence of the mudguard becomes inconspicuous.
[0011]
In the present invention, since the curved slope such that for descending slope inward in the vehicle width direction is formed in a portion covering the lower surface of the step, on the mudguard and dropped mud through louver structure of step It is possible to slide down with the slope of the curved slope without accumulating on the surface.
