本発明の柱脚金物は、鉄骨柱を溶接する際、上板の上部が平面であるため鉄骨柱の溶接取付け位置が制約されず自由度が高くなる。また、汎用の鋼板製の底板と鋳物製の上板を溶接して構成するため、従来の鋳物一体型の柱脚金物に比べ製作コストを安くできる。また、底板の外周部に設けたアンカーボルト穴は上板の平断面領域内からはみ出さない位置に設けるので、柱脚金物の周りに設けられる鉄筋コンクリートの外形寸法を小さくでき、建物の利用空間を有効に活用できる。
