Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a light source device and a display device suitable for a lamp that illuminates a vehicle-mounted meter, a warning light, or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as an example of an illuminating device such as a vehicle-mounted meter or a warning light, one described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-48281 is known.
[0003]
This lighting device is a holder made of synthetic resin with a small baseless bulb mounted on it. However, since this baseless bulb is an incandescent lamp, it has various problems in terms of life, brightness, temperature, etc., and is maintenance-free. There is a problem that it is difficult to realize.
[0004]
Therefore, it is conceivable to replace the incandescent lamp with a light emitting diode (hereinafter referred to as LED) having a long life, high brightness, and excellent cold resistance and heat resistance as a light source.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, although the LED has polarity, such a conventional lighting device uses an incandescent lamp having no polarity as a light source, and thus is not configured in consideration of the polarity of the light source. For this reason, when an LED is assembled in such a conventional lighting device, there is a possibility that an erroneous assembly in which the LED is assembled in the lighting circuit board with an incorrect polarity may occur.
[0006]
Moreover, since the baseless bulb is inserted into the insertion hole of the holder and fixed with an adhesive, it takes time for the adhesive to dry and solidify, it takes time to assemble, and the adhesive is solidified by drying. There is a problem that the assembly accuracy is not necessarily high, such as the light bulb being tilted or being displaced and fixed before.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in consideration of such circumstances, and the object thereof is to prevent misassembly by assembling the light source with the wrong polarity, while at the same time reducing the assembly time and improving the assembly accuracy. An object is to provide a light source device and a display device.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The light source device according to claim 1 is a light source having a pair of lead wires; a light source insertion hole into which the light source is inserted; a pair of lead wire insertion holes into which the pair of lead wires for power supply of the light source are inserted; A holder formed with a pair of irregularly shaped openings that communicate with the insertion holes and open to the outside; a lighting circuit for the light source, and a lead wire insertion hole from each opening of the holder that is electrically connected to the lighting circuit And a lighting circuit board formed with a pair of odd-shaped terminals that are electrically connected to the lead wires when fitted into the lead wire.
[0009]
According to the present invention, the shapes of the pair of openings communicating with the lead wire insertion holes of the holder are irregular, and the shapes of the pair of terminals of the lighting circuit board inserted into these openings are also irregular shapes adapted to these openings. Therefore, if the opening and the shape of the terminal do not match, it cannot be fitted. Therefore, by associating the shape of the opening and the terminal with the polarity of the light source, it is possible to prevent erroneous assembly such that the polarity of the light source is erroneously connected to the terminal of the lighting circuit board.
[0010]
The light source device according to the invention of claim 2 is characterized in that the pair of openings of the holder are formed asymmetrically in shape.
[0011]
According to this invention, since the shape of the pair of openings of the holder is asymmetric, the polarity can be known by visual observation of the shape of these openings. For this reason, it is possible to more reliably prevent erroneous assembly that causes the polarity of the light source to be incorrect.
[0012]
The light source device according to a third aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the holder is formed with a locking portion that contacts and locks each lead wire in the lead wire insertion hole.
[0013]
According to the present invention, in addition to the operation of the first or second aspect of the invention, in the state where the light source is inserted into the light source insertion hole of the holder, the lead wire of the light source is inserted into the lead wire insertion hole of the holder. The light source can be fixed in the light source insertion hole of the holder by being locked while being in contact with the locking portion.
[0014]
Therefore, even when the light source is fixed to the holder with an adhesive after the light source is fixed, it is possible to prevent the light source from being inclined or shifted before the adhesive is dried and solidified.
[0015]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a display device comprising: the light source device according to any one of the first to third aspects; a display unit illuminated by the light source device; and a device main body that houses the light source device and the display unit. It is characterized by that.
[0016]
According to the present invention, since the light source device according to any one of claims 1 to 3 is provided, the same effects as those of the light source device can be obtained.
[0017]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS.
[0018]
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the light source device 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of FIG. The light source device 1 includes a cylindrical collar 3 standing concentrically on a substantially central portion of a horizontally long prism-shaped holder 2 made of an elastic electrically insulating material such as a synthetic resin. From the lower end to a predetermined depth, a lamp insertion hole 3a for inserting, for example, an LED (light emitting diode) 4 having polarity is integrally formed.
[0019]
As shown in FIG. 2, the holder 2 includes a pair of left and right central lead wires each including a square hole or a round hole through which the pair of left and right lead wires 5a and 5b of the LED 4 are inserted below the lower bottom surface of the lamp insertion hole 3a. The insertion holes 6a and 6b are drilled vertically downward.
[0020]
Further, the holder 2 has a pair of left and right side lead wire insertion holes, which are square holes through which the distal ends of the pair of left and right lead wires 5a and 5b are inserted on the outer sides of the center lead wire insertion holes 6a and 6b. 7 and 8 are drilled through the holder 2 in the plate thickness direction.
[0021]
The pair of left and right side lead wire insertion holes 7 and 8 penetrates in the thickness direction of the holder 2 and are opened on both the upper and lower surfaces of the holder 2 to form a pair of upper and lower rectangular openings 7a and 7b, 8a and 8b, respectively. Respectively.
[0022]
The shapes of these left and right openings 7a and 8a, 7b and 8b are formed in irregular shapes such as left-right asymmetry. For example, the pair of upper and lower openings 8a and 8b on the right side in FIGS. 1 and 2 are formed so that the short direction length of the square hole is longer than that of the left openings 7a and 7b.
[0023]
Then, the lower end of the pair of left and right side lead wire insertion holes 7b and 8b are communicated with each other along the longitudinal direction of the holder 2 on the back side of the holder 2, that is, the bottom on the lower side in FIGS. Thus, a bottom opening 9 is formed in the lower surface.
[0024]
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a pair of left and right engaging portions 10 for releasably engaging the pair of lead wires 5a and 5b of the LED 4 at the lower part of the pair of left and right central lead wire insertion holes 6a and 6b in the drawing. , 11 are formed.
[0025]
As shown in FIG. 3, each of the locking portions 10 and 11 is opposed to each other in the left and right direction with a gap substantially corresponding to the diameter of the lead wires 5a and 5b in the center lead wire insertion holes 6a and 6b. A plurality of pairs of, for example, cylindrical locking projections 10a and 10b, and 11a and 11b are provided in a protruding manner. The front ends of these locking projections 10a, 10b, 11a, and 11b are formed in a hemispherical surface protruding outward.
[0026]
For this purpose, the lead wires 5a and 5b are slightly moved in the diametrical direction so as to be elastically press-fitted into or out of the gaps between the pair of locking projections 10a and 10b and 11a and 11b. As a result, the lead wires 5a and 5b can be elastically held between the pair of locking projections 10a and 10b, and 11a and 11b, or released to be free.
[0027]
Therefore, the LED 4 is inserted into the lamp insertion hole 3 a in the collar 4, and the lead wires 5 a and 5 b of the LED 4 are inserted into the pair of left and right center lead wire insertion holes 6 a and 6 b, and outward from the bottom opening 9. The lead wires 5a and 5b can be fixed by drawing them out and press-fitting these lead wires 5a and 5b into the gaps between the locking projections 10a and 10b and 11a and 11b. Thereafter, the lead wires 5a and 5b are further bent outward at a substantially right angle, passed through the bottom opening 9, and then inserted into the pair of left and right side lead wire insertion holes 7 and 8, respectively. Thereby, LED4 can be fixed in the lamp insertion hole 3a.
[0028]
The lighting circuit board 12 such as a printed circuit board forms a lighting circuit (not shown) for lighting the LED 4 in the rectangular plate-like board body 12a by printing or the like, and is electrically connected to the lighting circuit. The pair of terminal boards 13a and 13b are erected on the upper surface of the substrate body 12 in the drawing with the same interval l1 as the gap between the pair of left and right side lead wire insertion holes 7 and 8 of the holder 2. Yes.
[0029]
The pair of terminal plates 13a and 13b are formed to be asymmetrical in shape, and the left terminal plate 13a in the drawing is inserted into the left side lead wire insertion hole 7 and further from the lower surface openings 7a and 7b. Each is formed into a shape that can be inserted. Further, the right terminal plate 13b in the drawing is formed in a shape that can be fitted into the right side lead wire insertion hole 8 from the lower surface openings 8a and 8b. That is, the right terminal plate 13b is formed in a rectangular plate that is thicker than the left terminal plate 13a, and the corners of the tip portions of both terminal plates 13a, 13b are chamfered to form the openings 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b is formed so as to be easily inserted into each.
[0030]
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, the lighting circuit board 12 is pressed against the lower bottom surface of the holder 2, and the pair of left and right terminal plates 13a and 13b are placed in the side lead wire insertion holes 7 and 8 of the holder 2, respectively. When inserted from the lower surface openings 7b and 8b, the leading ends of the lead wires 5a and 5b already inserted into the side lead wire insertion holes 7 and 8 are in close contact with one side surface of the terminal plates 13a and 13b. And are fixed firmly elastically, and at the same time, the lead wires 5a and 5b are electrically connected to the terminal plates 13a and 13b.
[0031]
Further, since the lead wires 5a and 5b are introduced into the side lead wire insertion holes 7 and 8 in the same direction as the insertion direction A of the terminal plates 13a and 13b, the lead wires in the insertion holes 7 and 8 are provided. The terminal plates 13a and 13b can be inserted into the insertion holes 7 and 8 without pushing back 5a and 5b. Further, when the terminal plates 13a and 13b are pulled out, the leading ends of the lead wires 5a and 5b are caught, so that the lead wires 5a and 5b can be easily pulled out.
[0032]
And the light source device 1 which attached the lighting circuit board 12 to the holder 2 in this way is fed with electricity from the terminal plates 13a and 13b, and the LED 4 emits light, and can illuminate an irradiated surface such as an in-vehicle meter (not shown). it can. That is, by disposing the light source device 1 and a display unit such as an in-vehicle meter in a housing (not shown), the light source device 1 can be configured as a display device that illuminates the display unit such as the in-vehicle meter.
[0033]
In addition, the shapes of the lower surface openings 7b and 8b of the pair of left and right side lead wire insertion holes 7 and 8 are asymmetrical to each other, and the left and right terminal plates 13a and 13b of the lighting circuit board 12 are correspondingly formed. Since the shapes of the terminal plates 13a and 13b are incorrect, they cannot be inserted into the openings 7b and 8b by mistake. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the lead wires 5a and 5b from being electrically connected to the terminal plates 13a and 13b with the wrong polarity of the LED 4. That is, it is possible to prevent erroneous assembly in which the polarity of the lighting circuit board 12 is wrongly assembled to the holder 2.
[0034]
Further, since the shapes of the left and right terminal boards 13a, 13b are not the same, but different, the polarity can be clearly confirmed by visually observing the difference in shape. As a result, the lighting circuit board 12 can be quickly assembled to the holder 2.
[0035]
Further, the LED 4 is inserted into the lamp insertion hole 3a of the holder 2, and the lead wires 5a, 5b of the LED 4 are inserted into the center lead wire insertion holes 6a, 6b of the holder 2, and the locking projections 10a, 10b, 11a are inserted. The LED 4 can be fixed in the lamp insertion hole 3a of the holder 2 by being respectively engaged with the lamp 11b.
[0036]
Further, since the locking of the lead wires 5a, 5b by the locking protrusions 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b is detachable, the locked state of the lead wires 5a, 5b is appropriately released to fix the LED 4. By appropriately adjusting the position, the position accuracy can be improved.
[0037]
Therefore, even when the LED 4 is fixed to the holder 2 with an adhesive after the LED 4 is fixed, the LED 4 can be prevented from being tilted or shifted before the adhesive is dried and solidified.
[0038]
Moreover, since these latching | locking parts 10 and 11 are protrusion part 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b which clamps the outer surface of lead wire 5a, 5b removably from the diameter direction both sides, lead wire 5a, 5b is this By reciprocating in the direction perpendicular to the clamping direction of the locking projections 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b, the lead wires 5a, 5b are easily and quickly engaged with and disengaged from the locking projections 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b. be able to.
[0039]
2, the contact terminal plates 13a and 13b may be inserted from the front surface side (upper surface side in FIG. 2) of the holder 2, and in that case, the central portion of the lighting circuit board 12 is inserted. It is necessary to form a lamp insertion hole 14 through which the head of the LED 4 and the collar 4 are inserted so that the head of the LED 4 and the like can protrude outward from the lamp insertion hole 14.
[0040]
In addition, since the bottom opening 9 on the back side of the holder 2 directly serves as a lead-out port for the lead wires 5a and 5b, the assembly work can be greatly simplified such that the lead wires 5a and 5b can be easily taken out.
[0041]
Further, since the terminal plates 13a and 13b may be inserted from either the front or back side of the holder 2, the mounting direction of the light source device 1 can be determined according to the mounting position of the lighting circuit board 12 in an instrument (not shown) such as a vehicle-mounted meter. It can be selected appropriately. Therefore, it is particularly effective when it is necessary to mount these light source devices 1 in a narrow space such as a display device.
[0042]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the invention of claim 1 of the present application, the shape of the pair of openings communicating with the lead wire insertion hole of the holder is irregular, and the pair of terminals of the lighting circuit board inserted into these openings Since the shapes of these are also different shapes suitable for these openings, they cannot be fitted unless the shapes of the openings and the terminals are matched. Therefore, by associating the shape of the opening and the terminal with the polarity of the light source, it is possible to prevent erroneous assembly such that the polarity of the light source is erroneously connected to the terminal of the lighting circuit board.
[0043]
According to the light source device of the second aspect of the present invention, since the shape of the pair of openings of the holder is asymmetric, the polarity can be known by visual inspection of the shapes of the openings. For this reason, it is possible to more reliably prevent erroneous assembly that causes the polarity of the light source to be incorrect.
[0044]
According to the light source device of the invention of claim 3, in addition to the action of the invention of claim 1 or 2, in the state where the light source is inserted into the light source insertion hole of the holder, the lead wire of this light source is connected to the lead of the holder. The light source can be fixed in the light source insertion hole of the holder by being inserted into the line insertion hole and locked in contact with the locking portion.
[0045]
Therefore, even when the light source is fixed to the holder with an adhesive after the light source is fixed, it is possible to prevent the light source from being inclined or shifted before the adhesive is dried and solidified.
[0046]
Since the light source device according to any one of claims 1 to 3 is provided, the display device according to the invention of claim 4 has substantially the same operational effects as these light source devices.
