Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cleaning method and a cleaning apparatus suitable for washing clothes such as wool that easily contracts with water.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In wool and the like, scales existing on the fiber surface are raised by absorbing moisture, so that the fibers are very easily entangled. Therefore, it is known that a slight deformation caused by a cleaning mechanical force at the time of cleaning causes shrinkage or shape loss. For this reason, clothes such as wool have generally been subjected to organic solvent cleaning (dry cleaning).
[0003]
However, in recent years, halogen-based solvents used as cleaning solvents have been used because they are chemical substances that destroy the environment, such as ozone layer destruction, atmospheric pollution such as global warming, groundwater pollution, and even effects on the human body. It has become a restricted situation. In addition, petroleum solvents, which are non-halogen solvents, are flammable and always have a risk of fire. Further, there are problems that solvent cleaning cannot sufficiently clean water-soluble stains, and fibers are damaged due to mechanical entanglement and friction by the cleaning device.
[0004]
Therefore, there is a strong demand for cleaning clothes such as wool with water, and various water cleaning devices have been proposed.
For example, as a washing machine for shower cleaning, a washing liquid is sprayed on clothes placed on a rotationally driven human body frame (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-343892), and clothes on a rotationally driven hanger For example, there is proposed a shower cleaning method by spraying a cleaning solution (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-343885).
Also, as a drum-type washing machine, a drum-like structure composed of a porous material, a metal mesh, or the like is provided in a drum that is driven to rotate about the horizontal axis, and the laundry is placed in a space between the drum and the basket-like structure. Is stored in the drum so that a part of the space is immersed in the cleaning solution, and cleaning is performed by rotating the drum (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-200187). The driven drum is divided into a plurality of spaces along the axial direction by a perforated plate or a perforated hollow bar, and the laundry is stored in each space so as not to move, and cleaning liquid is supplied from a tube provided at the center of the drum. There is one that performs cleaning by rotating the drum while spraying (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-317569).
In addition, the laundry sandwiched between spacer plates is stored in a liquid-permeable basket, and the basket is swung up and down to enter and exit the laundry tub. The washing liquid sprayed in the laundry tub is applied to the laundry. In addition, there is one that performs washing by hitting, and further has a tapping washing effect by collision between the spacer plate and the laundry (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-103594).
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional washing machine that performs shower cleaning, clothing vibration when the cleaning liquid collides with the clothing cannot be ignored with respect to the shrinkage, and it cannot be said that the influence of the mechanical force on the clothing is completely removed.
Further, in the conventional drum type washing machine, the structure in the drum is complicated in order to prevent the laundry from moving, and the setting and taking out of the laundry is troublesome, and the work efficiency is remarkably lowered.
Further, when the basket containing the laundry sandwiched between the spacer plates is swung up and down, the apparatus becomes large.
[0006]
In other words, general cleaning is achieved by a combination of the surface chemical effect of the cleaning agent and the cleaning mechanical force. On the other hand, for clothing such as wool, which is extremely shrinkable, the clothing is deformed by mechanical force. The problem is how to obtain a high cleaning effect. Furthermore, prevention of a reduction in work efficiency and downsizing of the apparatus are desired.
[0007]
An object of this invention is to provide the cleaning method and cleaning apparatus which can solve the said subject.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the cleaning method of the present invention, the laundry is sandwiched by a sheet-like member having liquid permeability that is elastically deformed by being compressed by the holder, and the holder that holds the sheet-like member and the laundry is driven to rotate about the horizontal axis. At the same time, it is fixed to a rotating member into which the cleaning liquid can be introduced, and the rotating member is rotated about the horizontal axis so that a flow of the cleaning liquid passing through the sheet-like member and the laundry can be generated. the sheet-like member to sandwich the laundry, characterized in that to proceed with the wash solution.
The cleaning device of the present invention includes a cleaning liquid storage member, a rotating member that can introduce the stored cleaning liquid into the interior thereof, and a rotational member that is driven to rotate about the horizontal axis, and a holder that is detachably fixed within the rotational member. And a sheet-like member that has liquid permeability and elasticity and is held so as to be compressed by the holder, and the laundry can be sandwiched by the sheet-like member elastically deformed by the compression. The sheet-like member that sandwiches the sheet is capable of proceeding in the cleaning liquid together with the laundry by the rotation of the rotating member, and the flow of the cleaning liquid that passes through the sheet-like member and the laundry can be generated by the progress.
According to the method of the present invention, it is possible to clean the inside and the surface of the laundry by generating a flow of cleaning liquid that passes through the sheet-like member and the laundry. At this time, by sandwiching the laundry by applying elasticity with the sheet-like member, deformation and vibration of the laundry can be absorbed and suppressed by the sheet-like member. As a result, the laundry can be prevented from being deformed, the friction between the fibers can be remarkably reduced, and the shrinkage of the wool fibers and the like can be prevented. In addition, the use of an existing cleaning device is possible by using a drum that is driven to rotate about the horizontal axis as the rotating member.
According to the apparatus of the present invention, the method of the present invention can be carried out.
[0009]
In the method of the present invention, the holder forms a pipe that opens on the front side and the rear side in the rotational direction in the rotation of the rotary member about the horizontal axis , and the laundry is sandwiched between the sheet-like members in the pipe. Is preferred. Therefore, in the device of the present invention, the holder constitutes a pipe that opens on the front side and the rear side in the rotational direction in the rotation of the rotary member about the horizontal axis , and the laundry is sandwiched between the sheet-like members in the pipe. Preferably.
As a result, the pipe travels through the cleaning liquid, thereby generating a strong liquid flow along the pipe. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the liquid flow of the cleaning liquid from bypassing the laundry having high resistance, and it is possible to prevent the liquid flow of the cleaning liquid passing through the laundry from becoming weak. Thereby, the flow of the cleaning liquid passing through the laundry and the sheet-like member can be promoted, and the cleaning effect can be improved.
[0010]
In the method of the present invention, it is preferable that the laundry is sandwiched by the sheet-like member via the convex portion formed on the sheet-like member, and a void for flowing the cleaning liquid is formed around the convex portion. Therefore, in the device of the present invention, the sheet-like member has a convex part, and the laundry can be sandwiched by the sheet-like member through the convex part, and a gap for flowing the cleaning liquid is formed around the convex part. It is preferable.
By holding the laundry via the convex portion, it can be held more reliably, and by forming a gap around the convex portion, the flow resistance of the cleaning liquid on the surface of the laundry is significantly reduced, and the cleaning effect is improved. Can be improved.
[0011]

In the outer drum 3, it is possible to store the cleaning liquid supplied via the liquid supply pipe 11 and the opening / closing valve 12. A large number of openings 4 a are formed on the outer periphery of the inner drum 4 to guide the cleaning liquid stored in the outer drum 3 into the inner drum 4. The height of the liquid level L of the cleaning liquid is set so that a holder 20 (described later) attached to the inner drum 4 can advance in the cleaning liquid by the rotation of the inner drum 4. The height of the liquid level L can be controlled by detecting and shutting off the supply of the cleaning liquid from the liquid supply pipe 11 by the detection. In the present embodiment, the height of the liquid level L is set to be slightly lower than the height of the rotation center of the inner drum 4. The cleaning liquid stored in the outer drum 3 can be discharged through the opening / closing valve 13 and the waste liquid pipe 14.
[0014]
Two holders 20 are detachably fixed to the inner drum 4 through appropriate means. As shown in FIG. 3, each holder 20 is constituted by a flat rectangular box, and has upper and lower walls 20a and 20b, left and right walls 20c and 20d, and front and rear walls 20e and 20f. The upper wall 20a is a member 20a 'attached to the front wall 20e via a hinge (not shown) so as to be swingable about the left and right axis, and a member 20a "attached to the rear wall 20f so as to be swingable about the left and right axis. The upper wall 20a functions as an openable lid as shown by a two-dot chain line in the figure. In order to maintain the closed state of the upper wall 20a, both members 20a ′ and 20a ″ are released. Means for linking is provided as appropriate. Further, openings 20e 'and 20f' are formed in the front wall 20e and the rear wall 20f. The material of the holder 20 is not particularly limited as long as it has rigidity capable of holding the sheet-like member 21 and the laundry 22 described later, but is preferably rust-resistant and lightweight, such as stainless steel, aluminum and the like. A single material or a composite material of a metal such as an alloy or a synthetic resin such as hard vinyl chloride, ABS, or polycarbonate can be used.
[0015]
Each holder 20 in a state of being fixed to the inner drum 4 has a front-rear direction along the rotation direction of the inner drum 4 (direction of arrow A in FIG. 2), and a left-right direction along the rotation axis direction of the inner drum 4. Thus, each holder 20 forms a square pipe in which the front side and the rear side in the rotational direction of the inner drum 4 have openings 20e 'and 20f'. Further, both holders 20 are arranged so as to face each other with the rotation axis of the inner drum 4 interposed therebetween.
[0016]
As shown in FIG. 4, a plurality of sheet-like members 21 having liquid permeability and elasticity and a plurality of laundry 22 are inserted into the holders 20 so as to be able to be taken out from a portion where the upper wall 20 a is opened. . The sheet-like member 21 and the laundry 22 are alternately arranged in parallel. By closing the upper wall 20a, the sheet-like members 21 and the laundry 22 are compressed by the upper wall 20a and the lower wall 20b. The sheet-like member 21 is elastically deformed by the compression, and the laundry 22 is held by being sandwiched between the elastically-deformed sheet-like members 21. Each sheet-like member 21 has a rectangular shape in the present embodiment, and is dimensioned so that the front and rear walls 20e and 20f prevent the opening 20e′20f ′ from coming off. Each laundry 22 is sandwiched by the sheet-like member 21 to prevent the laundry 22 from coming out from the openings 20e'20f '. The material of the sheet-like member 21 is not particularly limited as long as it is elastically deformed by being compressed by the holder 20 and maintains liquid permeability in a state where the laundry 22 is sandwiched, but a skeleton-like urethane foam is used. Particularly preferred. Furthermore, the thickness of the sheet-like member 21 is preferably 5 mm or more and more preferably 10 mm or more when the laundry 22 is sandwiched and held in the compressed state without impeding liquid permeability.
[0017]
As shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of spot-like convex portions 21 a are formed on the front and back surfaces of each sheet-like member 21, and the laundry 22 is sandwiched between the sheet-like members 21 via the respective convex portions 21 a. As a result, a cleaning liquid flow gap 23 is formed around each spot-like convex portion 21 a between the sheet-like member 21 held by the holder 20 and the laundry 22.
[0018]
In the above configuration, the upper wall 20a is inserted into the holder 20 fixed to the inner drum 4 in a state where the plurality of sheet-like members 21 and the plurality of laundry 22 are alternately arranged in parallel, and the upper wall By closing 20 a, the laundry 22 sandwiched between the sheet-like members 21 in the holder 20 is incorporated. Further, the cleaning liquid containing the detergent is stored in the inner drum 4. Thereafter, when the inner drum 4 is rotated, the holder 20 advances in the cleaning liquid. In the above embodiment, the liquid level L of the cleaning liquid is slightly lower than the center of rotation of the inner drum 4, so that the holder 20 moves out of the liquid level L after traveling through the cleaning liquid and travels in the atmosphere. After that, it dives again below the liquid level L and proceeds in the cleaning liquid. As a result, the sheet-like member 21 sandwiching the laundry 22 is allowed to advance in the cleaning liquid together with the laundry 22 by the rotation of the inner drum 4, and the opening 20e ′ of the holder 20 is indicated by an arrow B in FIG. A flow of the cleaning liquid from one side of 20f ′ to the other side, that is, a flow of the cleaning liquid passing through the sheet-like member 21 and the laundry 22 is generated, and the cleaning liquid penetrates into the laundry 22 and advances. Since the cleaning liquid advances on the surface of the laundry, the laundry 22 can be cleaned. After completion of the cleaning, the rotation of the inner drum 4 is stopped, and when the cleaning liquid is discharged, the inner drum 4 is rotated again to perform liquid removal. Next, the rotation of the inner drum 4 is stopped, rinsing water is stored in the inner drum 4 as a cleaning liquid, and the inner drum 4 is rotated again to perform rinsing. Next, when the rotation of the inner drum 4 is stopped and the cleaning liquid is discharged, the inner drum 4 is rotated again to perform liquid removal. Thereafter, the rotation of the inner drum 4 is stopped, the upper wall 20a of the holder 20 fixed to the inner drum 4 is opened, the sheet-like member 21 and the laundry 22 are taken out, and the taken-out laundry 22 is dried.
[0019]
According to the above configuration, the laundry 22 can be held and fixed by being sandwiched by applying elasticity by the sheet-like member 21, and deformation and vibration of the laundry 22 can be absorbed and suppressed by the sheet-like member 21. As a result, the laundry 22 can be prevented from being deformed, the friction between the fibers can be remarkably reduced, and the shrinkage of the wool fibers can be prevented.
Further, since the holder 20 constitutes a square pipe having openings 20e'20f 'at both ends, a strong liquid flow of the cleaning liquid along the pipe is generated by proceeding through the cleaning liquid by the rotation of the inner drum 4. That is, it is possible to prevent the flow of the cleaning liquid from bypassing the laundry 22 having a large resistance and to prevent the cleaning liquid flowing through the laundry 22 from being weakened. Thereby, the flow of the cleaning liquid passing through the laundry 22 and the sheet-like member 21 can be promoted, and the cleaning effect can be improved.
Further, the laundry 22 can be more reliably held by holding the protrusion 21a via the convex portion 21a, and the cleaning liquid on the surface of the laundry 22 can be formed by forming the cleaning liquid flow gap 23 around the convex portion 21a. Can significantly reduce the flow resistance and improve the cleaning effect.
[0020]
In addition, this invention is not limited to the said embodiment. For example, as shown in FIG. 6, a plurality of line-shaped convex portions 21 a ′ are provided on the front and rear surfaces of each sheet-like member 21 in the diagonal direction of the rectangular sheet-like member 21 instead of the spot-like convex portions 21 a of the above embodiment. It can be formed along. The plurality of sheet-like members 21 are arranged so that the direction along which the line-shaped convex portion 21 a ′ in contact with one side of the laundry 22 extends and the direction along which the line-shaped convex portion 21 a ′ in contact with the other side intersect, The laundry 22 can be sandwiched by the sheet-like member 21 through the convex portions 21a 'at the intersection position. Also in this case, a gap for the flow of the cleaning liquid is formed around each line-shaped convex portion 21 a ′ between the sheet-like member 21 held by the holder 20 and the laundry 22.
Further, the laundry may be sandwiched between the sheet-like members without providing the convex portions 21a and 21a ′.
When the laundry is washed in a folded state, a sheet-like member may be inserted between the overlapping portions of the laundry. Thereby, the deformation | transformation and vibration of a laundry can be suppressed more reliably.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
According to the cleaning method of the present invention, by suppressing vibration as well as mechanical deformation of laundry such as wool, high dimensional stability is achieved without causing shrinkage or deformation, and fibers caused by entanglement and friction of clothing. In addition, the water-soluble stains can be thoroughly washed to clean the laundry with cleanliness that does not depend on the type of dirt, and the existing drum-type washing machine can be used effectively. In addition, according to the cleaning device of the present invention, the cleaning method of the present invention can be carried out.
[0022]
Examples and Comparative Examples
Based on the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS L1042), IWS (International Wool Secretariat) SM-12 wool test cloth was marked at intervals of 200 mm. The interval was measured accurately in a standard environment (20 ° C., 65% RH). The washing test shown in the following comparative examples and examples was conducted using the wool test cloth as a laundry. Moreover, the shrinkage | contraction test shown to the following reference examples was done. In the cleaning test, a 0.05% aqueous solution of the nonionic surfactant Emulgen 108 (manufactured by Kao Corporation) was used as the cleaning liquid.
[0023]
In the examples, the cleaning apparatus 1 of the above embodiment was used, and after washing for 3 minutes, rinsing with tap water for 2 minutes and dehydrating for 30 seconds, the woolen test cloth was placed on a basket and dried naturally. The size of each part of the cleaning device 1 and the rotational speed of the inner drum 4 are 28 rpm. The dimensions of the cleaning device 1 are as follows: the outer drum 3 has a diameter of 880 mm, an axial length of 520 mm, the inner drum 4 has a diameter of 820 mm, an axial length of 420 mm, the holder 20 has dimensions of a longitudinal length of 620 mm, a lateral length of 410 mm, The height of the holder 20 is 150 mm, the length of the opening of the holder 20 is 380 mm in the left-right direction, the height is 130 mm, and the length of the sheet-like member 21 is 610 mm in the front-rear direction.
In the comparative example, a commercially available two-tub washing machine having a washing tub that is driven to rotate about the vertical axis (Toshiba Co., Ltd. spiral washing machine (VH-360S1)) was used for washing in a weakly reversible water flow mode. Minutes, rinsing with tap water for 2 minutes and dehydration for 10 seconds, and then the wool test cloth was placed on a basket and allowed to air dry.
In the reference example, the wool test cloth was laid flat on a basket, gently immersed in water, allowed to stand for 1 hour, and then naturally dried.
[0024]
Each wool test cloth after natural drying was conditioned in a standard environment for 1 day, the change in the length between the marks was measured, and the linear shrinkage rate and the surface shrinkage rate were obtained based on the lengths measured in advance. . In addition, the appearance of felting due to fluffing on the fabric surface was observed as an appearance. The results are shown in Table 1 below.
[0025]
[Table 1]
Figure 0003970990
[0026]
According to Table 1, the shrinkage rate of the laundry was large according to the comparative example and felted in appearance, whereas the shrinkage rate of the laundry was extremely low according to the example of the present invention. Thus, it was confirmed that there was almost no difference from the shrinkage rate of the laundry just immersed in water, and no change in the appearance of the laundry was observed.
