Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is interposed between two conductive members that are fastened to each other, and is used to change the state from an electrically insulated state to an electrically conductive state. It relates to a washer that can change.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, some automobiles have a portion for joining different metal members, for example, a part such as a steel bonnet is attached to an aluminum alloy body. In such an automobile production line, parts of dissimilar metals are electrically insulated from each other in the pre-painting process including the cleaning of the car body to prevent electrolytic corrosion, and both parts are energized in the next electrodeposition coating process. In order to do so, it is necessary to conduct between the two members.
[0003]
Therefore, conventionally, an insulating material is interposed between different metal members in advance, and the vehicle body is pre-treated in the insulated state, and then the different metal members are connected with a special conductive cable to conduct. After the condition, electrodeposition coating is performed, and the conductive cable is removed after painting.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the work of attaching and detaching the conductive cable performed before and after the painting process is very troublesome and is not preferable in terms of production efficiency. Therefore, if a means that can easily establish a conductive state between both members without depending on the conductive cable is found, it will greatly contribute to the improvement of productivity of various products as well as automobiles.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and is interposed between two conductive members that are fastened to each other, so that the two members are electrically insulated from the electrically insulated state. It is an object of the present invention to provide a washer that can be changed from an insulator to a conductor.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention is used to change from a state of being electrically insulated to a state of electrical conduction between two members, which are interposed between two conductive members that are fastened to each other. A washer that can be changed from an insulator to a conductor, a conductive washer body, a conductive embedded member supported on one surface of the washer body, and a washer embedded in the embedded member. It is composed of an insulating covering layer that is bonded only to the one surface of the main body , and the embedded member is not exposed to the surface of the covering layer when the fastening force between the two members is less than a predetermined value. Is exposed to the surface of the coating layer when the value exceeds a predetermined value, and the two members are brought into conduction in cooperation with the washer body.
[0007]
The two conductive members are the head 3a of the bolt 3 and the first metal member 1 in the first embodiment of the present invention, which will be described later, and the first and second metal members 1, 2 in the second embodiment. Corresponds to 2.
[0008]
According to the above feature, simply by increasing the fastening force between the two members, the washer can be changed from an insulator to a conductor, and the two members can be easily switched from an insulated state to a conductive state.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on examples of the present invention shown in the accompanying drawings.
[0010]
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a two-member joint portion showing the washer according to the first embodiment of the present invention in an insulator state, FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the two-member joint portion showing the washer in a conductor state, and FIG. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a two-member joint portion showing the washer in a conductor state, FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the two-member joint portion showing the washer in a conductor state, and FIG. 5 is a third embodiment of the present invention. It is sectional drawing of the washer which concerns on.
[0011]
First, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0012]
In FIG. 1, for example, an iron-based first metal member 1 and a second metal member 2, which is different from the first metal member 1, for example, an aluminum-based material, are coupled by a bolt 3 and a nut 4. At that time, a washer 5 which can be changed from an insulator of the present invention to a conductor is interposed between the head 3a of the bolt 3 and the first metal member 1 opposed to the head 3a. A normal insulating washer 6 is interposed between the second metal members 1 and 2. The washers 5 and 6 integrally have collar portions 5a and 6a respectively disposed between the inner peripheral surfaces of the bolts 1a and 2a of the first and second metal members 1 and 2 and the outer peripheral surface of the bolt 3.
[0013]
The washer 5 of the present invention is made of brass having a corresponding shape, that is, a conductive washer body 7, and a mesh-like brass, that is, a conductive embedded member 8 supported on the upper surface and the inner peripheral surface of the washer body 7. If, which is from the buried member 8 embedded and made of an insulating synthetic resin fitted contact only on the upper surface and the inner circumferential surface of the washer main body 7 while covering layer 9. The buried member 8 is completely buried in the coating layer 9, and a predetermined minute insulation interval s is provided between the buried member 8 and the surface of the washer body 7. The embedded member 8 is harder than the covering layer 9.
[0014]
Thus, when the first and second metal members 1 and 2 are connected by the bolt 3 and the nut 4, the bolt 3 applied to the washer 5 of the present invention has a tightening force of less than a predetermined value as shown in FIG. As shown, since the embedded member 8 is prevented from contacting the head 3a of the bolt 3 by the insulating covering layer 9, the washer 5 of the present invention is an insulator, and the first and second metals The parts 1 and 2 are electrically insulated by the washer 5 of the present invention and the normal washer 6. Therefore, for example, even when receiving the pre-painting treatment, the different first and second metal members 1 and 2 can be protected from electric corrosion.
[0015]
Next, when the tightening force of the bolt 3 is increased and exceeds a predetermined value, as shown in FIG. 2, in the washer 5 of the present invention, the insulating coating layer 9 is deformed and harder than that. Since the embedded member 8 breaks through the surface of the coating layer 9 and comes into contact with the conductor washer body 7 and the head 3a of the bolt 3, the washer 5 of the present invention is changed to a conductor. In cooperation with the bolt 3 and the nut 4, the first and second metal members 1 and 2 can be in a conductive state. Therefore, for example, the electrodeposition coating can be performed by energizing both metal members 1 and 2.
[0016]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 will be described.
[0017]
In this second embodiment, a normal washer 6 is interposed between the head 3a of the bolt 3 and the first metal member 1, and the washer of the present invention is interposed between the first and second metal members 1 and 2. 5 and the other configuration is the same as that of the previous embodiment. Therefore, in FIG. 3 and FIG. Omitted.
[0018]
Thus, when the tightening force of the bolt 3 applied to the washer 5 of the present invention is less than a predetermined value, the embedded member 8 is made of the first metal member by the insulating coating layer 9 as shown in FIG. The washer 5 of the present invention is an insulator because contact with the insulating layer 1 is prevented. However, when the tightening force of the bolt 3 exceeds a predetermined value, as shown in FIG. The deformed and harder embedded member 8 breaks through the surface of the covering layer 9 and comes into contact with the conductor washer body 7 and the first metal member 1 so as to be in a conductive state therebetween. 5 is changed to a conductor, and can directly conduct between the first and second metal members 1 and 2.
[0019]
In the third embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 5, the washer 25 that can change from an insulator to a conductor cuts and raises many claw-like embedded members 28 from the washer body 27, and embeds the embedded members 28. However, the insulating synthetic resin coating layer 29 is coupled to the washer body 27. Since other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, portions corresponding to those of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals in FIG. 5 and description thereof is omitted.
[0020]
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various design changes can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, in the washer 5 of the present invention in the first and second embodiments, the embedded member 8 extends to the collar portion 5a for the convenience of manufacture, but this is not necessary in terms of function.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a washer that can be changed from an insulator to a conductor is provided with a conductive washer body, a conductive embedded member supported on one surface of the washer body, and the embedded member. And an insulating coating layer that is bonded only to the one surface of the washer body , and the embedded member has a surface on the surface of the coating layer when the fastening force between the two members is less than a predetermined value. Although not exposed, when the fastening force exceeds a predetermined value, it is exposed on the surface of the coating layer, and the two members are brought into conduction in cooperation with the washer body, so that the fastening force between the two members is simply increased. The washer can be changed from an insulator to a conductor, and the two members can be easily switched from an insulated state to a conductive state.
