本発明は、携帯型動力作業機等の本体ケースに、エアークリーナカバー等の蓋状部材を着脱自在に取り付けるための取付構造に関する。

例えば、チェーンソー等の携帯型動力作業機においては、実公平3−13527号公報等にも所載のように、本体ケース内に内燃エンジン(空冷2サイクルガソリンエンジン)がシリンダ縦置きで搭載され、この内燃エンジンの吸気系の最上流側(機体の上部)にエアークリーナが配在され、このエアークリーナを覆うように、前記本体ケースにエアークリーナカバーが取り付けられている。

前記の目的を達成すべく、本発明に係る蓋状部材の取付構造は、本体ケースに基端部が揺動自在に支持された着脱用付勢部材の先端部に、蓋状部材の一外側面部に圧接せしめられる圧接係合片が回動自在に支持されるとともに、前記蓋状部材の前記一外側面部に、前記圧接係合片の回動支点となる嵌合軸状部が乗せられて緩く嵌合せしめられる波状凹溝付きの受壁部が外方に向けて突設されてなり、前記蓋状部材を前記本体ケースの取付口に乗せて前記一外側面部以外の箇所で前記本体ケースに対して抜け止め係合させた状態で、前記圧接係合片を前記着脱用付勢部材の前記基端部を支点にして前記一外側面部に接近する方向に揺動させるとともに前記着脱用付勢部材の前記先端部を支点にして回動させ、前記嵌合軸状部を前記受壁部に乗せて嵌合させ、前記圧接係合片を前記嵌合軸状部を支点として前記着脱用付勢部材の付勢力に抗して前記一外側面部側に倒すことにより、前記蓋状部材が前記本体ケースに対して取り付け固定され、逆に、前記圧接係合片を前記嵌合軸状部を支点として、前記着脱用付勢部材の付勢力に抗して前記一外側面部から引き離すように回動させることにより、前記蓋状部材が前記本体ケースから取り外されるようにされている携帯型動力作業機等の前記本体ケースに前記蓋状部材を着脱自在に取り付けるための取付構造を特徴としている。
