【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は、吸収性物品、特に幼児用、大人用、あるいは失禁者用のパンツ型使い捨ておむつとして用いられる吸収性物品に関する。

【従来の技術】
パンツ型使い捨ておむつとして、液透過性のトップシートと、液不透過性のバックシートと、これら両シート間に配置される吸収体とを有する吸収性本体を備え、該吸収性本体は、腹側部、股下部及び背側部からなっており、上記腹側部及び上記背側部それぞれの両側縁部を接合固定して、ウエスト開口部及び一対のレッグ開口部を形成したものは知られている。（特開昭６１−２０７６０５号公報参照）

上記のパンツ型使い捨ておむつは、一対のレッグ開口部及び１つのウエスト開口部をそれぞれ伸縮自在に形成して体型にフィットするように構成されており、通常、着用者自らが立位の状態で着用することができるので、幼児の「おむつ離れ」を促進するためのトイレットトレーニング用として、また、失禁者用もしくは歩行可能な成人用として用いられている。そして、この種のパンツ型使い捨ておむつは、いわゆるフラット型のおむつに比較して、通常の下着と同様に着用者が自分で上げ下げできるという点に特徴を有する。

また、上記のようなパンツ型使い捨ておむつにおいて、レッグ開口部からの漏れ防止効果等を向上させるために、一対のレッグ開口部の開口周縁部にそれぞれ弾性部材を配してギャザーを形成したものも知られている（特開昭５８−１１５１０６号、特開昭５８−１１５１０７号、特開平３−３３２０１号、特開平３−１３９３４９号及び実開平３−１６９２０号の各公報参照）。

そして、上記公報には、パンツ型使い捨ておむつの連続製造方法が示唆されており、また、特開昭５７−７７３０４号公報には、上記のようなパンツ型使い捨ておむつの連続製造方法が開示されている。
また、特開昭５７−７７３０４号、１１７６０２号（ブサック）には、股下部にギャザーが無いかあるいは一点で交差しているギャザーに関する技術が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記特開昭５８−１１５１０６号、１１５１０７号の両公報に記載のパンツ型使い捨ておむつは、バーミューダ型のパンツの裾口にギャザーを配置してあるため、着用者の動きに追従できず、このため、フィット性が悪く、排泄物が漏れたり、大腿部にギャザーの跡が付いたりし易い。

また、特開平３−３３２０１号公報及び実開平３−１６９２０号公報に記載のパンツ型使い捨ておむつは、図８に示す如く、レッグ開口部２２、２２の開口周縁部２２ａ、２２ａに弾性部材１５、１５が連続して配されているが、該弾性部材１５、１５の交差部１４が上記開口周縁部２２ａに存在する。該交差部１４では弾性部材１５の収縮応力が小さいので、そこから漏れを生じ易く、また、大腿部にギャザーの跡がついたり、着用感に問題がある他に、外観上も好ましいものとは言い難い。

また、上記特開平３−１３９３４９号公報及び上記実開平３−１６９２０号公報に示唆されている連続製造方法では、上述の問題等を有するおむつしか製造することができず、製造上も、ギャザーの揺動幅が大きく、高速で生産できない欠点がある。また、上記特開昭５７−７７３０４号公報に記載の連続製造方法による場合にも、弾性部材がおむつの股下部に配されたおむつしか製造することはできず、しかも得られるおむつは、レッグ開口部の開口周縁部の全周に弾性部材の配されていないものである。

従って、本発明の目的は、漏れ防止効果が高く、着用感に優れた吸収性物品を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者らは、パンツ型の使い捨ておむつの構造について種々検討した結果、バックシートが少なくとも２層の積層体よりなり、股下部のギャザー（即ち、弾性部材）が該積層体間に平行に配され、かつ開口周縁部の全周に弾性部材が存在するパンツ型の使い捨ておむつとすることによって上記目的を達成し得ることを知見した。

本発明は、上記知見に基づいてなされたもので、液透過性のトップシートと、液不透過性のバックシートと、これら両シート間に配置される吸収体とを有する吸収性本体を備え、該吸収性本体は、腹側部、股下部及び背側部からなっており、上記腹側部及び上記背側部それぞれの両側縁部を接合固定して、ウエスト開口部及び一対のレッグ開口部を形成し且つ少なくとも一対の該レッグ開口部それぞれの開口周縁部にそれぞれギャザーを形成した吸収性物品において、上記吸収性本体における、上記腹側部及び上記背側部それぞれの一方の側縁部の一部の内側並びに上記股下部の一方の側縁部の内側に沿い、上記股下部中央を横断し、且つ他方の側縁部の内側に沿って弾性部材が配されるように、少なくとも第一及び第二の弾性部材を張設固定してあり、上記バックシートは、少なくとも２層の積層体よりなり、上記第一及び第二の弾性部材は、該積層体の層間に張設固定され且つ上記股下部中央においては相互に平行に配されており、上記吸収体は、上記トップシートと、該吸収体と上記バックシートとの間に配された別のシートとの間に配置されて、該バックシート上に設けられており、上記第一の弾性部材及び上記第二の弾性部材は、それぞれ、０．５〜５ｍｍ間隔で配置された複数本の部材よりなり、上記第一の弾性部材と上記第二の弾性部材とは上記股下部中央において完全に重複しており、上記吸収体の両側縁外方における上記トップシートと上記別のシートとの間に、それぞれ第三の弾性部材が配されていることを特徴とする吸収性物品を提供するものである。

【作用】
本発明の吸収性物品によれば、バックシートが少なくとも２層の積層体よりなり、股下部の弾性部材が該積層体間に平行に配され、且つ開口周縁部の全周に弾性部材が配されているため、該弾性部材の収縮力が直接吸収体に及ばず、該吸収体がくずれたり、該弾性部材の収縮力が阻害されることがなく、着用時において漏れ防止効果が十分に発揮され、且つ着用感に優れている。

【実施例】
以下に、本発明の吸収性物品の一実施例であるパンツ型の使い捨ておむつについて、図面を参照しながら説明する。
図１１は、本発明の一実施例のパンツ型の使い捨ておむつにおける断面形状の概略を示す図である。図１〜図１０（図８を除く）は、図１１に示す実施例とは断面形状の異なる第１〜第４参考例を示すものであるが、これらの参考例は、断面形状が異なる以外は、本実施例と同様の構成を有している。
従って、本実施例の説明において、本実施例の断面形状の構成については、図１１を参照して説明するが、本実施例の断面形状以外の構成については、図１〜図３に示す上記第１参考例についての説明が適用され、また、図４〜図１０（図８を除く）に示す上記第２〜第４参考例についての説明が適宜適用される。
図１は、本発明の吸収性物品の第１参考例であるパンツ型使い捨ておむつを示す斜視図、図２は、それを展開した状態の吸収性本体を一部省略して示す平面図である。

第１参考例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０は、図１に示す如く、着用者の肌に接する側を形成する液透過性のトップシート１と、トップシート１に対応する液不透過性のバックシート２と、これら両シート間に配置されて排泄物を吸収する吸収体３とを有する吸収性本体１０Ａを備え、該吸収性本体１０Ａは、腹側部１１、股下部１２及び背側部１３からなっており、上記腹側部１１及び上記背側部１３それぞれの両側縁部１１ａ、１１ａ及び１３ａ、１３ａを接合固定して、ウエスト開口部２１及び一対のレッグ開口部２２、２２を形成して構成されており、これらの構成は従来品と同様である。

而して、第１参考例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０に用いられる上記吸収性本体１０Ａは、その展開状態（接合前の状態）においては、図２に示す如く、その中央部（股下部１２）の両側が湾曲状にくびれた形状をしており、上記腹側部１１の一方の側縁部１１ａの一部の内側及び上記股下部１２の一方の側縁部１２ａの内側に沿い、上記股下部１２中央を横断し、且つ該股下部１２の他方の側縁部１２ａの内側及び該腹側部１１の他方の側縁部１１ａの一部の内側に沿って配されるように、腹側部側に第一の弾性部材１５ａを張設固定し、また、上記背側部１３の一方の側縁部１３ａの一部の内側及び上記股下部１２の一方の側縁部１２ａの内側に沿い、上記股下部１２中央を横断し、且つ該股下部１２の他方の側縁部１２ａの内側及び該背側部１３の他方の側縁部１３ａの一部の内側に沿って配されるように、背側部側に第二の弾性部材１５ｂを張設固定し、且つ上記第一及び第二の弾性部材１５ａ及び１５ｂは、上記股下部１２中央においては相互に平行に接近させて配されている。

上記吸収性本体１０Ａについて更に説明すると、上記第一の弾性部材１５ａと上記第二の弾性部材１５ｂとの股下部１２における間隔は、排泄物が漏れない程度であり、各々の最外側の弾性部材が０〜２０mmの範囲にあることが望ましい。０mmより小さいと図８に示すように弾性部材で囲まれた領域を生じ、外観上このましくないばかりか、交差部において弾性部材の収縮力が阻害されて該部位から漏れを生じ易くなる。また２０mmを越えると、レッグ開口部の周縁部に弾性部材が配されていない部位が生じ、同様に該部位から漏れを生じ易くなる。

上記股下部１２においては、弾性部材は必ずしも固定する必要はなく、むしろ固定しない方が、外観上好ましく、また弾性部材の伸縮応力が阻害されない点でも好ましい。

また、上記第一の弾性部材１５ａと上記第二の弾性部材１５ｂとはそれぞれ１本である必要はなく、糸状のものをそれぞれ間隔を置いて複数本ずつ配置してもよく、更には上記第一及び第二の弾性部材１５ａ、１５ｂの伸縮応力が異なるように配置してもよい。複数本配置した場合の各部材の間隔は０．５〜５mmの範囲とする。

第１参考例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０は、上述の吸収性本体１０Ａを、図１に示す如く、その腹側部１１の両側縁部１１ａ、１１ａとその背側部１３の両側縁部１３ａ、１３ａとを接合固定することにより、上記弾性部材１５ａ、１５ｂでそれぞれ弾性環状部２４、２４を形成し、該弾性環状部２４、２４により、一対のレッグ開口部２２、２２それぞれの開口周縁部２２ａ、２２ａにそれぞれギャザー２３、２３を形成して構成されている。また、レッグ開口部２２の開口周縁部２２ａには上記弾性部材１５ａ、１５ｂの交差部がない。尚、図１では、便宜上、上記弾性部材１５ａ、１５ｂは破線で示すべきところを実線で示してある。

上述の吸収性本体１０Ａの接合部は、縦方向に容易に引き裂くことができるようになっていることが好ましく、これにより着用者の肌を汚すことなく、該接合部において使い捨ておむつ２０を容易に引き裂くことができ、使い捨ておむつ２０を簡単に脱いで廃棄することができる。また、上記接合部は、例えば、ホットメルト型の粘着剤あるいは超音波による接合が可能な素材を用い、接合後においても感触が柔軟であることが好ましい。

また、第１参考例の使い捨ておむつ２０は、上記吸収体３の股下領域が縊れた砂時計状に形成され、トップシート１及びバックシート２も該吸収体３の形状に即して股下領域が上述の如く湾曲形状に形成されている。

第１参考例の使い捨ておむつ２０に用いられる上記トップシート１は、排泄物を上記吸収体３へ透過させる液透過性シートで肌着に近い感触を有するものが好ましく、このような液透過性シートとしては、例えば、織布、不織布、多孔性フィルム等が好ましい。

また、トップシート１は、その周縁にシリコン系油剤、パラフィンワックス等の疎水性化合物を塗布する方法や、予め全体にアルキルリン酸エステルのような親水性化合物を塗布し、次いで周縁を温水で洗浄する方法により、トップシート１の周縁に撥水処理を施し、周縁における尿等の滲みによる漏れを防止することができる。

第１参考例の使い捨ておむつ２０に用いられる上記バックシート２は、熱可塑性樹脂にフィラーを加えて延伸した、蒸気を透過させる透湿性があり且つ液不透過性であるシートが好ましく、また、肌着に近い感触を有するものが好ましい。このような液不透過性シートとしては、例えば、フィルムと不織布との複合材等が好ましい。

第１参考例の使い捨ておむつ２０に用いられる上記吸収体３は、解繊パルプを主材とした高分子吸水ポリマーを併用したものが好ましく、また熱可塑性樹脂、セルロース繊維、高分子吸水ポリマーの混合物に熱処理を施したものが好ましい。高分子吸水ポリマーの存在位置は、吸収体３の上層、中層、下層のいずれでもよく、また、パルプと混合したものであってもよい。また、該高分子吸水ポリマーは自重の２０倍以上の液体を吸収して保持し得る保持性能を有し、ゲル化する性質を有する粒子状のものが好ましく、このような高分子吸水ポリマーとしては、例えば、デンプン−アクリル酸（塩）グラフト共重合体、デンプン−アクリロニトリル共重合体のケン化物、ナトリウムカルボキシメチルセルロースの架橋物、アクリル酸（塩）重合体などが好ましい。

第１参考例の使い捨ておむつ２０に用いられる弾性伸縮部材（上記弾性部材１５ａ、１５ｂ等）は、糸ゴム、平ゴム、フィルムタイプのゴムあるいはフィルム状の発泡ポリウレタンが好ましく、また、１５０％伸長時の応力が７０〜１００グラムであるものが好ましく、また、伸縮性と通気性を有する不織布タイプのものが好ましい。

第１参考例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０は、上述の如く構成されているため、漏れ防止効果が高く、着用感に優れている。

また、本発明のパンツ型使い捨ておむつを形成する吸収性本体として、図２に示す吸収性本体１０Ａの他に、図３に示す吸収性本体連続体１０から該吸収性本体１０Ａを得る場合と同様に図６に示す吸収性本体連続体１０を切断して得られる吸収性本体１０Ｂ（図５参照）、即ち、上記第一の弾性部材１５ａと上記第二の弾性部材１５ｂとをそれぞれ複数本の部材からなるものとし、且つ両者を股下部１２において相互に平行であるように張設した吸収性本体１０Ｂを用いた場合にも、図１に示すパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０と実質上同様な構成からなり、同様な効果を奏し、且つ腰部の良好な着用状態が得られる第２参考例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ（図４参照）が得られる。

更に、本発明のパンツ型使い捨ておむつを形成する吸収性本体として、別の吸収性本体連続体（図示せず）をそれぞれ上記と同様に切断して得られる吸収性本体１０Ｅを用いることもできる。これらの吸収性本体１０Ｅは、それぞれ図７に示す如く、上記第一及び第二の弾性部材１５ａ及び１５ｂをそれぞれ複数本の部材からなるものとし、且つ股下部１２における相互の平行状態を維持したまま両弾性部材を完全に重複させたものである。この吸収性本体１０Ｅを用いた場合にも、それぞれ図１に示すパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０と実質上同様な構成からなり、同様な効果を奏し、且つ腰部の良好な着用状態が得られるパンツ型使い捨ておむつが得られる。

次に、上記第１参考例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０の一製造方法について図１〜図３を参照しながら説明する。
図２及び図３は、それぞれ本製造方法の要部を示すもので、図２は図１に示す第１参考例を形成する吸収性本体を一部省略して示す平面図、図３は図１に示す第１参考例の製造に用いられる吸収性本体の連続体を示す平面図である。

而して、本製造方法を実施するには、先ず、図３に示す如く、所定巾（この巾は、パンツ型使い捨ておむつの展開状態における長手方向の長さに相当する。）の連続する液不透過性のバックシート２上に、第一及び第二の弾性部材１５ａ及び１５ｂを、図２に示す吸収性本体１０Ａの巾Ｌと同じ間隔で、上記バックシート２の巾方向で且つ反対方向にそれぞれ揺動し且つ後から配される上記吸収体３の長手方向中央（上記股下部１２）における上記バックシート２側で相互に平行となるように接近させて張設固定する。次いで、吸収体３を、上述の弾性部材１５ａ、１５ｂの接近部が該吸収体３の巾方向の中央部で且つ股下部１２の外面側に位置するように配し、その後、該吸収体３上に所定巾の連続する液透過性のトップシート１（図示せず）を配して、図３に示す形態の吸収性本体連続体１０を製造する。

次いで、上記製造工程で得られた吸収性本体連続体１０を、隣接する上記吸収体３、３間の中央部でそれぞれ切断して、図２に示す如き形状の複数の吸収性本体１０Ａを得る。また、この切断工程においては、上記の切断時若しくはその前後、または両側縁部の接合後に、図２に示す如く股下部１２の両側縁部１２ａ、１２ａが湾曲状にくびれた形状になるようにトップシート１及びバックシート２を、図３に示す円形部Ｐにおいて切除する。然る後、上記切断工程で得られた各吸収性本体１０Ａの腹側部１１の両側縁部１１ａ、１１ａと、背側部１３の両側縁部１３ａ、１３ａとを接合することにより、図１に示す如き形態の本発明のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ２０が得られる。

尚、上記製造工程で得られた吸収性本体連続体１０を、その各吸収性本体１０Ａの腹側部１１の両側縁部１１ａ、１１ａと、背側部１３の両側縁部１３ａ、１３ａとを接合した後、隣接する上記吸収体３、３間の中央部でそれぞれ切断して図２に示す吸収性本体１０Ａを得ることも可能である。

また、上記製造方法における弾性部材１５ａ、１５ｂをそれぞれ３本の部材よりなるものとすることにより、図６に示す吸収性本体連続体１０及びこれを切断した図５に示す吸収性本体１０Ｂを得ることができる。
更に、上記製造方法における弾性部材１５ａ及び１５ｂの揺動の仕方を一部変えることにより、図７に示す吸収性本体１０Ｅを得ることができる。
そして、上記吸収性本体１０Ｂ及び１０Ｅを用いた場合にも、吸収性本体１０Ａを用いた場合と同様にして図１に示す如きパンツ型使い捨ておむつを得ることができる。

上述の製造方法によれば、少なくとも２本の弾性部材を、それぞれ所定の間隔で、連続するバックシートの巾方向に揺動して所定の位置に張設固定しているから、吸収性本体連続体を容易に且つ連続的に製造できると共に、この吸収性本体連続体から容易に且つ連続的に本発明の吸収性物品の参考例を製造することができる。

上述の本発明の吸収性物品の第１参考例は、図２のＸ−Ｘ線における断面形状が、略図９に示す如き形状（形態）のものに基づくものである（図９は第一の弾性部材１５ａ又は第二の弾性部材１５ｂが２本の部材により形成されている第３参考例を示す）が、本発明の吸収性物品の参考例は、次に説明するような形態のものであっても良い。

即ち、本発明の吸収性物品の第４参考例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつは、図１０に示す如く、上記バックシート２が、少なくとも２層の積層体よりなり、上記弾性部材１５（第一の弾性部材１５ａ又は第二の弾性部材１５ｂ）が該積層体間の所定の位置に張設固定され、上記吸収体３が該積層体上に配置されている形態である。尚、上記積層体を構成するシートとしては、フィルムや不織布等が用いられるが、少なくとも最外側に通常のバックシートとして用いられるシートが配置されていれば良い。

そして、図１０に示す如き断面形態を有する第４参考例の使い捨ておむつを製造する場合には、前述した製造方法における吸収性本体連続体の製造工程を、例えば次のように変えれば良い。
即ち、所定巾の連続する少なくとも２層の積層体よりなるバックシート２の層間に、少なくとも第一及び第二の弾性部材１５を、それぞれ所定の間隔で上記バックシート２の巾方向に揺動して張設固定した後、複数個の吸収体３を一定間隔で上記バックシート２上に配し、その後、該吸収体上に所定巾の連続する液透過性のトップシート１を配するという態様に変えれば良い。

次に、本発明の吸収性物品の一実施例であるパンツ型使い捨ておむつについて、図１１を参照して説明する。尚、前述したように、本実施例について特に説明しない点については、上記第１〜第４参考例についての説明が適宜適用される。
本実施例のパンツ型使い捨ておむつは、図１１に示す如く、予め、液透過性のトップシート１と液不透過性（又は液透過性）のシート（別のシート）１′との間に配した吸収体３を、２層の積層体よりなり、第一の弾性部材１５ａ及び第二の弾性部材１５ｂが該積層体間に張設固定され且つ股下部中央においては相互に平行に配されている積層体からなるバックシート２の内面に接合固定したものである。また、吸収体３の両側縁外方における上記トップシート１と上記別のシート１′との間に、それぞれ第三の弾性部材１５′が配されている。

そして、図１１に示す如き断面形態を有する本実施例の使い捨ておむつを製造する場合には、前述した製造方法における吸収性本体連続体の製造工程を、例えば次のように変えれば良い。
即ち、所定巾の連続する少なくとも２層の積層体よりなるバックシート２の層間に、少なくとも第一及び第二の弾性部材１５を、それぞれ所定の間隔で上記バックシート２の巾方向に揺動して張設固定した後、予め液透過性のトップシート１と液不透過性（又は液透過性）のシート１′との間に配した吸収体３を上記の積層体からなるバックシート２の内面に接合固定するという態様に変えれば良い。

図１１に示すような、バックシート２が積層体からなる本実施例の使い捨ておむつにおいては、該図１１に示す如く、該積層体間に弾性部材１５を配置すれば該弾性部材１５の収縮力が直接上記吸収体３に及ばないので、吸収体３がくずれたり、逆に弾性部材１５の収縮力が阻害されたりすることもない。

尚、本発明の吸収性物品は、上記の実施例に制限されないことは言う迄もない。例えば、弾性部材は、全体として所定の部位に張設固定されていれば、その全長に亘って全ての部位で固定されていなくても良く、また、上記実施例における各部材の大きさ等は、図示のものに準じて又は従来のパンツ型使い捨ておむつの構成部材に準じて設定すれば良く、また、説明を省略した部分もあるが、各部材同士は、適宜、それらの一部又は全部を接着剤等により接合固定される。

【発明の効果】
本発明の吸収性物品は、漏れ防止効果が高く、着用感に優れている。
