【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、容易に連続製造ができ、着用感に優れ、漏れ防止効果が高い好適に使用される使いすておむつに関する。

【従来の技術】
パンツ型使いすておむつとして、液体透過性の表面シートと、液体不透過性の裏面シートと、これら両シート間に配置される吸収体とを有する吸収性本体を備え、前記吸収性本体は、腹側部、股下部及び背側部からなっており、前記腹側部及び前記背側部それぞれの両側縁部を接合固定して、ウエスト開口部及び一対の脚周り開口部を形成したものは知られている（特開昭６１−２０７６０５号公報）。

前記のパンツ型の使いすておむつは、一対の脚周り開口部及び一つのウエスト開口部をそれぞれ伸縮自在に形成して体型にフィットするように構成されており、通常、着用者自らが立位の状態で着用することができるので、幼児の「おむつ離れ」を促進するためのトイレトレーニング用として、または失禁者用もしくは歩行可能な成人用として用いられている。いわゆるフラット型のおむつに比較して、通常の下着と同様に着用者が自分で上げ下げできるという点に特徴を有する。

前記のようなパンツ型使いすておむつの脚周り開口部からの漏れ防止効果等の向上のために、脚周り開口部それぞれの開口周縁部にそれぞれ弾性部材を配設してギャザーを形成する使いすておむつ及びその連続製造方法が開示されている（特開平３−３３２０１号公報、特開平３−１３９３４９号公報、実開平３−１６９２０号公報、特開平４−２８３６３号公報）。しかし、特開平３−１３９３４９号公報、特開平４−２８３６３号公報に記載されているパンツ型使いすておむつは、脚周り開口部の開口周縁部に配設されている弾性部材が股下部で連続していないため、漏れ防止効果が必ずしも十分ではなく、着用感にも問題があった。また、特開平３−３３２０１号公報、実開平３−１６９２０号公報に記載されているパンツ型使いすておむつは、脚周り開口部の開口周縁部に弾性部材が連続して配設されているが、前記弾性部材が股下部にも吸収体を横切って配設されているため、おむつの股下部の外にもギャザーが生じ、着用感に問題がある他に外観上も好ましいものとは言い難かった。

また、これらの脚周り開口部の開口周縁部への弾性部材の配置方法は、使いすておむつに吸収性本体の幅方向に沿って曲線状に弾性部材を配置したものであり、伸縮弾性の方向は、開口周縁部に必要とされる伸縮方向とは必ずしも一致していない。さらに、２組の弾性体を吸収性本体の幅の間隔で振らして固定する方法は、弾性体が互いに交差したり、大きく曲線状に配置する必要があり、高度な技術を要し、生産速度も制約されるため使いすておむつを安価に大量生産する上で支障となることがあった。

パンツ型使いすておむつにおいては、着用者が自身で使いすておむつを上げ下げ出来るようにするために、本体の腹側部と背側部とを接続するサイド部分に伸縮性のサイドパネル（サイド部材）を設け、かつ本体の腹側端部と背側端部とに弾性部材を配置した構成が開示されている（特開平２−４３６４号公報）。また、着用者が自身で使いすておむつを上げ下げ出来るようにするために、本体の腹側部と背側部とを接続するサイド部分、もしくは腰周り部全周に糸状もしくはリボン状の弾性部材を配置する方法が開示されている（特開平４−１６６１５０号公報、特開平４−１６１１５２号公報、特開平４−２８９２０１号公報、特開平４−３６４８４５号公報、特開平４−３７１１４７号公報、特開平４−３７１１４８号公報、実開平６−４２１号公報）。さらに、吸収性本体の外周に環状弾性体を連結する使いすておむつが開示されている（実開平４−３２７１８号公報）。
しかし、これらの方法はたとえ腰周り部全周にわたって弾性体が配置された場合でさえも、実質的には、いずれも吸収体のないサイド部分のみの伸縮となり、パンツ型使いすておむつの装脱着に必要は腰周り全体の伸縮性には、十分とはいえなかった。

また、使いすておむつの吸収体のサイド部分にシートを存在させずに、ウエスト周りに環状弾性ベルトを取り付ける使いすておむつが開示されている（特開平４−１４４５５８号公報）。この方法では、環状弾性ベルトは、吸収性本体の両端部に連結されているため、その伸縮をほとんど阻害されることなく、使いすておむつのウエスト部が伸縮し、着用者が容易に装脱着できる。しかしながら、この使いすておむつでは、腰周り下部の下腹部及び臀部周りに弾性体が配置されていないために下腹部及び臀部周りのフィット性が悪いという問題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明者等は、かかる現状に鑑み、液体透過性の表面シートと、液体不透過性の裏面シートと、これら両シート間に配置される吸収体を有する吸収性本体を備え、腹側部及び背側部それぞれの両側縁部を接合固定して、ウエスト開口部及び一対の脚周り開口部を形成したパンツ型使いすておむつにおいて、股下部で吸収体を横切ることなく、脚周り開口部には開口周縁部に弾性部材を配置することが、漏れ防止及び着用感の向上に効果があるとの結論に至った。
また、着用者が自身で使いすておむつを上げ下げできるようにするためには、ウエスト開口部の伸縮性を高める必要があり、そのためには、ウエスト開口部の弾性体を吸収体上にも連結して設けて、サイド部分のみの伸縮にならないようにすることが必要であるとの結論に至った。
さらに、股下部で吸収体を横切る弾性体を配置しないので、おむつ全体のフィット性の向上のためには、ウエスト部（腰のくびれた部分）のみでなく、下腹部及び臀部を含んだ腰周り部にも、別の形で弾性体の配置が必要であるとの結論に至った。

その上、使いすておむつを安価に大量生産するためには、生産速度が速く、容易な製造工程である必要があるとの結論に至った。
本発明の目的は、パンツ型使いすておむつとして容易に連続製造ができ、股下部の吸収体を横切ることなく脚周り開口部に弾性体が配置されて、漏れ防止効果が高く、ウエスト開口部に配置された弾性体がその伸縮性を阻害されることなく伸縮し、着用者が容易に装脱着でき、下腹部及び臀部を含む腰周り部に弾性体を配置することで、腰周り部の広範囲にわたってフィット性が高い、着用感に優れた、好適に使用される使いすておむつを提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の第１は、液透過性の表面シートと、液不透過性の裏面シートと、これら両シート間に配置された吸収体とからなる吸収性本体と、該吸収性本体の長手方向端部において端縁に沿ってその一端が接合され、長手方向の外側へ延出して配設される一対の伸縮体とを有し、該伸縮体の、着用者の腹側に位置する腹側部と背側に位置する背側部との夫々の両側縁部を接合してウエスト周り開口部と一対の脚周り開口部が形成される使いすておむつであって、
おむつを装着後、前記伸縮体を吸収性本体の上に折り返して使用することが出来るように、伸縮体が吸収性本体端縁から外側へ充分な長さ延出していることを特徴とする使いすておむつである。

本発明の第２は、前記伸縮体の吸収性本体端縁から外側へ延出する長さが、吸収性本体の長手方向全長に対し、２／１０〜５／１０の比率であることを特徴とする第１の発明に記載の使いすておむつである。

本発明の第３は、前記伸縮体のウエスト周りに沿う全長が、前記吸収性本体のウエスト周りに沿う全長に対し、３０／１０〜８／１０の比率であることを特徴とする第１の発明あるいは第２の発明に記載の使いすておむつである。

前記構成を有するこの発明に係る使いすておむつは、着用者が装着時に、ウエスト部（腰のくびれた部分）の開口を阻害することなく、容易にウエスト部が開口して装着しやすく、装着後にはウエスト部付近で伸縮体を吸収性本体上に折り返して使用することにより、下腹部及び臀部を含む腰周り部に広範囲に伸縮性を持たせることができ、腰周りのフィット性に優れている。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の使いすておむつは、腰周りの伸縮体に特徴があり、伸縮体は吸収性本体の長手方向端部にその一端が接合され、長手方向の外側へ延出して幅方向に伸縮するように配設されており、該伸縮体の吸収性本体から外側に延出する長さは、特に限定はされないが、好ましくは吸収性本体の長手方向全長に対し、２／１０〜５／１０の比率であって、着用者に装着時に、伸縮体を吸収性本体の上に折り返して使用するのに充分な長さとされている。また、伸縮体を折り返すことにより腰周り部に広範囲に伸縮性を持たせることができるので、股下部付近で吸収体を横切るような弾性体の配置が不要となる。
伸縮体の吸収性本体から外側に延出する長さの、吸収性本体の長手方向全長に対する比率が２／１０より小さくなると、折り返し長さが短か過ぎるため腰周りに充分にフィット性を持たせることが出来ない。また、前記比率が５／１０を越えると、折り返した伸縮体が着用時の吸収性本体（おむつ）の長さより長くなり、フィツト性に不必要な部分が出来ることになる。

本発明において使用される表面シートは、親水性あるいは疎水性の不織布、織布、多孔性プラスチックフィルム等であり、その構成繊維は、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリエステル、ナイロン等の単繊維、またはポリエステル、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ナイロン等の２成分以上からなる複合繊維等であり、特には、ポリエステル／ポリエステル、ポリエステル／ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン／ポリエチレンの複合繊維が強度の面から好ましいが、特に制限をうけるものではない。

表面シートの寸法は、裏面シートと同じ、もしくはそれより大きくても良い。また、表面シートは、単一のシートで構成される必要はなく、吸収体上面と側部フラップでシートを替えるなど複数枚のシートで構成しても良い。また、複数枚のシートで表面シートを構成する際、各シートは別の素材を使っても良いが、同一の素材でも良い。

本発明において使用される裏面シートは、ポリエチレン等の液体不透過性フィルム、液体不透過性フィルムと不織布との貼合わせ、液体不透過性フィルムと織布との貼り合わせの素材等からなる。

本発明において使用される吸収体は、綿状パルプ、高吸収性ポリマー（以後省略してＳＡＰという）、親水性シート等からなり、特に制限を受けるものではない。
また、本発明において使用される吸収体は、従来の使いすておむつその他の吸収性物品の通常使用される公知の吸収性材料から作られている。すなわち、綿状パルプ、レーヨン等の吸収性繊維からなる単層もしくは多層のマットから形成され、さらに親水性シートによりくるまれている。そして、ＳＡＰが各マット中に均一に混合もしくは各マット間に層状に配設されている。また、綿状パルプに対して３〜６０重量％の熱融着性物質を混合して熱圧着してもよい。もしくは、ＳＡＰのみが親水性シートによりくるまれているものでも良い。

綿状パルプとしては、化学パルプシートもしくは、機械パルプシートを粉砕機で解繊することにより得られる繊維長５ｍｍ以下のものが用いられる。パルプ原料としては、針葉樹に限らず、広葉樹、わら、竹およびケナフも適用される。また、古紙パルプを使用しても良い。この綿状パルプの使用量は、目的とする吸収体により、例えば、単独で用いるか、複数積層して用いるか、他の吸収材を併用するかなどにより異なるが、一般的には、５０〜４００ｇ／ｍ²にされる。

ＳＡＰとしては、デンプン系、セルロース系、合成ポリマー系が挙げられる。すなわち、デンプン−アクリル酸（塩）グラフト共重合体、デンプン−アクリル酸エチルグラフト共重合体のケン化物、デンプン−メタクル酸メチルグラフト共重合体のケン化物、デンプン−アクリロニトリルグラフト共重合体のケン化物、デンプン−アクリルアミドグラフト共重合体のケン化物、デンプン−アクリロニトリル−２−アクリルアミド−２−メチルプロパンスルホン酸グラフト共重合体のケン化物、アクリル酸（塩）重合体、アクリル酸で架橋されたポリエチレンオキシド、ナトリウムカルボキシメチルセルローズの架橋物、ポリビニールアルコール−無水マレイン酸反応物の架橋物などである。自重の２０倍以上の尿、体液及び水を吸収するもので、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム系のものが吸収性能の点から最も適当である。ＳＡＰの分布量は、乾燥した綿状パルプ１００重量部に対して１０〜５００重量部、好ましくは１５〜３００重量部であり、かかる量のＳＡＰが綿状パルプに実質的に均一に分布している。ＳＡＰが尿や体液などを吸収し膨潤したとき、その粒子は相互の干渉が最小にとどめられ、連続的に接触して透過障壁を形成することが少なく、尿や体液を３次元方向に透過、吸収する。

親水性シートは、例えば、ティシュ、吸収紙、親水性不織布等、親水性のシートであれば良い。
吸収体の圧縮方法としては、周面が平滑なロールなどにより、吸収体の密度がその全体にわたり実質的に均等になるように連続する面状に圧縮してもよいし、周面が凹凸状であるロールなどにより、吸収体の密度が部分的に異なり、尿や体液を縦方向及び斜め方向に導く模様配列のエンボスとなるように圧縮してもよい。エンボスの場合、圧縮部、非圧縮部は、連続、非連続のいずれであってもよい。

吸収体の形状は、矩形でも砂時計型でも良く、従来の使いすておむつその他の吸収性物品の通常使用される公知の形状のいずれでも良く、特に限定するものではない。
また、吸収体上の少なくとも一部に拡散層を設けても良い。拡散層を設けることで、装着者の姿勢等により表面シート下の空間が十分に設けられない場合でも、尿、体液等の吸収速度を低下させることなく、尿、体液等の漏れを防ぐことが可能となる。

拡散層は、親水性液透過性の不織布、織布、多孔性プラスチック、綿状パルプ等であり、その構成成分はポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリエステル、レーヨン、パルプまたはこれらの複合繊維等でも良く、特に制限を受けるものではない。拡散層は、表面シートと吸収体の間に配設され、接着剤等で吸収体に接着固定される。

また、伸縮体は、伸縮性のシート状素材により形成されていても良いが、非伸縮性シートに弾性体を伸長状態で配置したものであっても良い。伸縮体のシートは、親水性もしくは疎水性のシートのどちらでも良く、液透過性もしくは液不透過性のどちらでも良い。ただし好ましくは通気性もしくは透湿性を有する素材である。伸縮体を形成するシートの素材は、不織布、織布、プラスチッフィルム等であり、その構成繊維は、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリエステル、ナイロン等の単繊維、または、ポリエステル、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ナイロン等の２成分以上からなる複合繊維等であり、特には、ポリエステル／ポリエステル、ポリエステル／ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン／ポリエチレンの複合繊維が強度の面から好ましいが、特に制限をうけるものではない。

また、吸収体の側部に１対以上の立体ギャザーを配置することが好ましい。立体ギャザーは、シートと弾性部材により形成される。シートは中央部表面シートや側部表面シートで形成されても良いが、別部材でも良く、表面シート、裏面シートもしくは別部材の貼り合わせでも良い。

立体ギャザーシートの素材は、親水性あるいは疎水性の不織布、織布、多孔性プラスチックフィルム等、もしくは液不透過性のフィルムや、これらの貼り合わせであり、織布及び不織布の構成繊維は、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリエステル、ナイロン等の単繊維または、ポリエステル、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ナイロン等の２成分以上からなる複合繊維等であり、特には、ポリエステル／ポリエステル、ポリエステル／ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン／ポリエチレンの複合繊維が強度の面から好ましいが、特に制限をうけるものではない。
通気性や通液性はなくても良いが、好ましくは、通気性を有するものである。

弾性部材は、天然、合成ゴム、ウレタンなどの糸状、ひも状、ネット状、平型形状のものを設置位置に応じて用いる。弾性部材の配設はシートに接着剤により固定される。
接着方法としては、ホットメルト、澱粉系またはＣＭＣ（カルボキシメチルセルロース）などの水溶性の糊又は、流動性の高い接着剤を用いてもよいし、熱や超音波等による溶着でも良い。

【実施例】
以下、図面により、本発明の一実施例であるパンツ型使いすておむつを詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。
図１は、パンツ型使いすておむつの伸縮体を折り返す前の斜視図である。図１において、伸縮体４の背側部１０及び腹側部１２それぞれの両側縁部を接合固定して、ウエスト周り開口部６及び一対の脚周り開口部７を形成して構成されている。脚周り開口部７の脚周り弾性部材８ａは、股下部１１（図３参照）で吸収体３の存在する領域には配置されていないため、股下部１１でのフィット性が良く、着用感に優れている。ウエスト周り開口部６を形成している伸縮体４は、吸収性本体５の長手方向端部において端縁に沿って、長手方向の外側に延出してその一端が接合され、吸収体３上部へは伸縮体４の配置がほとんどないため、伸縮体４は全体として伸縮を阻害されることはなく、伸縮性に優れ、また脚周りの開口部７が大きいため、着用者の装脱着が容易である。

図２は、パンツ型使いすておむつが着用者に装着されている状態であり、図１の伸縮体４を折り返して着用している状態を示す斜視図である。図２において、伸縮体４は、着用者のウエスト部で折り返されて、下腹部及び臀部を含む腰周り伸縮体となっている。また折り返された伸縮体４は、大きく開口した脚周り開口部の伸縮体としても機能し、伸縮体４が腰周り伸縮体となることで、使いすておむつのフィット性が向上して、着用者に好適に使用される。
ウエスト部付近での折り返し寸法は、着用者の体型によるものであり、全体を折り返しても良いが、一部分のみでも良い。
また、伸縮体を折り返さないで、腹巻のようにして使用してもかまわない。

また、折り返した伸縮体４の着用者の動きによるずれを防止するために、伸縮体４もしくは吸収性本体５の一方もしくは両方に固定手段を付与しても良い。固定手段は、背側部１０及び腹側部１２の一方のみでも良いが、両方でも良く、全面もしくは一部分に付与する。固定手段は、接着剤が付与されたテープによるものでも良いが、面ファスナーのような織布もしくは不織布同士の接合によるものでも良く、伸縮体４と吸収性本体５が固定されれば、その手段については特に規定されない。

図３に示すものは、図１のパンツ型使いすておむつの展開状態を示す一部切り欠き平面図である。図３において、吸収性本体５は、液体透過性の表面シート１と液体不透過性の裏面シート２の間に吸収体３が配置されている。吸収性本体５は、背側部１０、股下部１１及び腹側部１２からなっており、股下部１１は幅方向両側部が湾曲状にくびれた形状をしている。前記股下部１１の吸収体３の両側部に脚周り弾性部材８ａとなる弾性部材がそれぞれ２本ずつ配置されている。また、吸収性本体５の長手方向両端部に、長手方向の外側に延出して一対の伸縮体４が配置され、その一端は吸収性本体５の端部に接着固定されている。更に、伸縮体４には吸収性本体の幅方向にそれぞれ１０本の弾性部材８ｂが配設されている。また、伸縮体４は吸収性本体５の幅方向に伸縮し、吸収性本体５の幅よりも広く形成されており、その相対する両側縁部を接合しやすくしてあるが、必ずしも吸収性本体５の幅より広くなくてもよく、吸収性本体５の幅と同寸法あるいは吸収性本体５より狭くても構わない。

図面では、吸収性本体５の脚周り弾性部材８ａが、吸収性本体５の股下部１１のくびれに沿って、曲線状に配置されているが、直線状でも良く、特に規定されない。また、脚周り弾性部材８ａも２本である必要はなく、１本以上配置されていれば良い。さらに、図面では脚周り弾性部材８ａが吸収性本体５の両側部に沿って一部のみの配置されているが、吸収性本体５の両側部全長にわたって配置されていても良い。また、脚周り弾性部材８ａが複数本で形成される場合は、その弾性部材８ａ間の間隔は一定でも良いが、変化していても良い。一方、吸収性本体５も股下部１１のフィット性向上のためには、股下部１１においてくびれているのが好ましいが、特にくびれがなくても良い。

また、図面では、吸収性本体５が伸縮体４を形成するシートの間に挟まれて固定されているが、実質的に吸収性本体５と伸縮体４が固定されていれば良く、伸縮体４が吸収性本体５の表面シート１側もしくは裏面シート２側一方のみに接着固定されていても良い。
さらに、図面では示していないが、好ましくは吸収体３の両側部に立体ギャザーを配置するほうが良い。

図面では、伸縮体４の腰周り弾性部材８として糸状弾性部材を伸張状態でウエスト部に平行に複数本配置した形であるが、吸収性本体５の中心に向かって斜めに配置しても良く、交差していても良い。また、腰周り弾性部材８ｂはネット状の弾性部材として配置しても良く、伸縮体４自体が伸縮素材によるシートであっても良い。

図面（図３）では、伸縮体４に配置された腰周り弾性部材８ｂの数は、背側部１０と腹側部１２で１０本ずつであり同じであるが、複数本配置されていれば良く、特に規定されない。また、背側部１０と腹側部１２における腰周り弾性部材８ｂの数は、特に同じである必要はなく、好ましくは、腹側部１２に多く配置する。また、図面では各弾性部材８ｂ間の間隔が異なるが、一定でも良い。さらに、それぞれの腰周り弾性部材８ｂ間の間隔が配置位置により変化していても良い。したがって、背側部１０と腹側部１２で各弾性部材の間隔が同じである必要はない。
伸縮体４の腰周り弾性部材８ｂのそれぞれの伸縮応力は、同じでも良いが異なっていても良い。また、背側部１０と腹側部１２で異なっていても良い。伸縮体４の吸収性本体５に近い部分をウエスト周り伸縮体とする場合は、腰周り伸縮体となる伸縮体４の吸収性本体５から離れた位置の弾性部材８ｂが、ウエスト周り伸縮体となる部分の弾性部材８ｂより伸縮応力が低いことが好ましい。

伸縮体４が吸収性本体５の長手方向端部（端縁）から長手方向に延出する長さ（Ｌ₂）は、吸収性本体の長手方向全長（Ｌ₁）に対し、２／１０〜５／１０の比率であることが好ましく、着用者の装着の仕方にもよるが、着用者の腰のくびれた部分から臀部までの寸法以上であることがより好ましい。また着用者の体型や好みにより、伸縮体４の長さが長い場合は、折り曲げを１度のみでなく複数回行うことで、下腹部及び臀部を含む腰周り部に、幾重かの腰周り伸縮体を形成することも可能である。

また、伸縮体４の着用者のウエスト周りに沿う全長（伸縮体４の腹側部の長さ＋伸縮体４の背側部の長さ）は、伸長時の長さにおいて、吸収性本体５のウエスト周りに沿う全長（吸収性本体５の腹側部の長さ＋吸収性本体５の背側部の長さ）と同寸法でもよいし、長くても、短目でもよい。好ましくは、伸縮体４のウエスト周りに沿う前記全長が、吸収性本体５のウエスト周りに沿う前記全長に対し、３０／１０〜８／１０の比率とするほうがよい。該比率が３０／１０を越えると、伸縮体の長さが長くなりすぎ、着用者の腰周りのフィット性が悪くなる。また、脚周り開口部も大きくなりすぎる。また、８／１０未満になると、伸縮体４の長さが短くなりすぎ、伸縮体４を過度に伸ばした状態で使用することになるので、使用しにくく好ましくない。
尚、伸縮体４の上記長さは伸長時の長さであるが、この長さは次のように定義する。おむつ製造時に、吸収性本体５に伸縮体４を伸長状態で接合するが、この接合時の伸長状態における長さを「伸長時の長さ」と定義する。
