【従来の技術】
従来、捕集効率99.97%(at 0.3μm)以上の性能を有するエアフィルタである高性能エアフィルタの輸送に当たっては、高性能エアフィルタが中性能エアフィルタ等下位グレードのエアフィルタに比較して、外力が加わった際の品質低下が著しく大きくなることから、外力の影響から守ることを最優先に考慮し中性能エアフィルタを含めた一般的な物品よりも厳重な梱包がなされている。具体的には、フィルタ製品を1乃至2個の単位で緩衝のための胴枠に包み込んだ上で段ボールまたは木製の箱に完全収納するといった方法が一般的である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記従来の梱包方法では、1乃至2個の製品単位で梱包されるため、梱包時や解梱時の作業効率及び作業性が低くなるばかりでなく、段ボール等の梱包資材の使用量が多くなりコスト高となると共に廃棄物量が増す等の問題点がある。
本発明は前記従来技術の梱包方法の問題点を解消し、作業効率及び作業性がよく、しかも資材の使用量が少なく、廃棄物量も少なくて済むエアフィルタの梱包方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のエアフィルタの梱包方法は前記目的を達成するべく、波形折り畳み濾材を枠体内に組み込んでなるエアフィルタの梱包方法において、台シートの四周縁に折り目を介して起立自在の起立片を連設すると共に台シートの底面の適宜箇所に足桁を設けた段ボールパレット上に、前記起立片を折り目に沿って上方に折り曲げ起立させて台シートをトレイ状に形成しながら、エアフィルタを複数個規則正しく載置し略立方体の集積体に形成し、少なくともエアフィルタの濾材露出面を保護板で保護すると共に、前記集積体の4側面外周にストレッチフィルムを張力をかけて巻回被覆することを特徴とする。
尚、本発明のエアフィルタの梱包方法は、エアフィルタの種類には特に限定はないが、外力の影響を受けやすい高性能エアフィルタの梱包に特に適しているものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の段ボールパレットは、四周縁に折り目を介して起立自在の起立片を連設した台シート(載荷板)と、該台シートの底面の適宜箇所に設けた足桁(桁状の脚部)とから構成される。
前記起立片は、エアフィルタを積載の際に、折り目に沿って上方に折り曲げて起立させると共に隣接する2片の起立片をその隣接部分で粘着テープ等で固定して、台シートをトレイ状に形成することで積載物の荷崩れを防止するものである。
また、前記足桁は、例えば、段ボールを多層に貼り合わせるか、合紙あるいは板紙等を折り曲げて断面方形の筒状体とするなどの方法で形成されたものを使用する。この足桁は、台シートの底面の適宜箇所に接着またはさらにカギ止め等の方法を用いて固定される。また、足桁の設置個所と設置数は、フォークリフトの爪の挿入位置とパレットの耐荷強度等を考慮して決められるが、パレットの短手方向に少なくとも両端の2列あるいはその中央を含めた3列に設置するのが製造コスト上最も好ましい。また、この場合、各列に設置される足桁を断続させて短手方向に順列に配置させることも可能で、その場合にはパレットの短手方向のみでなく長手方向にもフォークリフトの爪を挿入することが可能となる。

【実施例】
ここで、本発明のエアフィルタの梱包方法を、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。
先ず、図1及び図2に示すように、足桁11を取り付けた段ボールパレット10を用意し、パレット10の長手方向1辺及びそれに隣接する短手方向の2辺の台シート起立片12を折り目13に沿って起こし上げ、隣接部分2ヶ所をテープ14で止める。
次に図3に示すように、前記起立片12を起こし上げた長手方向1辺のパレット10上に保護板15を立てる。

また、図4に示すように、高性能エアフィルタ製品30を1台ずつ内容中にできるだけ空気が残存しないように注意しながらポリ袋内31に収納し、開口部をテープ32で封止する。
このように用意された高性能エアフィルタ製品30を図5に示すように、段ボールパレット10上に所定数量並列に載置する。図示の例では11個並列に載置した。
次に、図6に示すように、段ボールパレット10の残りの1辺の起立片12を起こし上げ隣接する2辺の起立片12,12との隣接部分をテープ14で止める。

次に、図7に示すように、前記パレット10上に並列に載置されたフィルタ製品30の集積体40の上面に中敷き16を敷き、この中敷き16の上に前記ポリ袋31に収納したフィルタ製品30を同一方向に同一個数だけ並列に載置する。

また、保護板15は、上下2段に積載され略立方体をなしたフィルタ集積体40の4側面のうち、少なくとも外力の影響を受け易いエアフィルタ製品30の濾材露出部、即ち、空気流開口面の前後面に当たる2側面を保護するためのもので、側面全体を覆うに充分な大きさを有することが必要である。材質は、段ボール紙等でよい。尚、保護板15は、集積体40の残りの2側面および集積体40の天井面(上面)にも用いることができる。

ポリ袋31は、フィルタ製品30を水濡れ等から保護する機能を有する。尚、フィルタ製品30を収納するポリ袋31内に空気が残存すると、フィルタ製品30を集積後に外周に巻くストレッチフィルム17の圧迫により内容物のフィルタ製品30が外力を受け、品質低下を招く恐れがあるので、ポリ袋31内にはできるだけ空気が残存しないようにする必要がある。
また、ストレッチフィルム17は、フィルタ集積体40の側面外周の全面にまんべんなく巻き、集積体40の全体を被覆できるまで巻く必要がある。一般には、フィルタ製品30の幅寸法にもよるが大体6〜10周程度巻くのがよい。
尚、パレットの台シートのタテ/ヨコ寸法及びパレット上に並べるフィルタ製品の数は、積載するフィルタ製品の外形寸法によって適宜決められる。
また、ここでは、フィルタ製品を2段に積載する例として説明したが、フィルタ製品の外形寸法によっては3段に積載することも可能である。

次に、本発明の梱包方法と従来の梱包方法とをそれぞれ実際に行って比較してみた。
本発明方法では、寸法840mm×1230mmの段ボールパレットに高性能エアフィルタ(高さ610mm×幅1220mm×奥行(厚さ)75mm)を22台(11台×2段)積載し、輸送を行った。
また、従来方法として、ポリ袋内に収納した高性能エアフィルタ(高さ610mm×幅1220mm×奥行(厚さ)75mm)を2台を1単位として胴枠に包み込んだ上で段ボール箱に収納し、同時に、残り20台の高性能エアフィルタを2台ずつ10個の段ボール箱にそれぞれ収納し、合計で11個の梱包体を作り、輸送を行った。
上記実施例と比較例による梱包、輸送を行った結果を表1に示す。

このように、本発明の高性能エアフィルタの梱包方法は、従来の梱包方法に比較して、梱包時や解梱時の作業効率及び作業性を大幅に向上できると共に、梱包資材の使用量を大幅に低減できて省資源化が図れ、コストダウン及び廃棄物量の低減が図れる。
