【従来の技術】
従来、インキ及びこのインキの界面に接する逆流防止体とをインキタンク内に収容する筆記具では、筆記によるインキ消費に伴うインキタンク内のインキ収容体積の減少により移動するインキ界面に追従して逆流防止体が移動し、インキタンク内を大気圧に保っている。すなわちこのような筆記具では、逆流防止体のインキと反対側の空間が外気と連通していることが必要である。逆流防止体が移動しないとインキ消費に伴ってインキタンク内が減圧状態となりインキタンクよりのインキ吐出を疎外することになるし、逆流防止体のインキと反対側の空間が外気と連通していない場合にはこの空間が減圧となり逆流防止体の移動を疎外し結局インキタンク内を減圧にすることになる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述の通り、逆流防止体はインキの体積現象による負圧という比較的小さい力に対して追従しなくてはならず、容易に移動可能でなくてはならない。通常、円柱体や筒部材をαーオレフィンやポリブテンなど高粘度流体で包みインキタンク内壁に直接接触しないようになして移動のしやすさを得ている。しかしながら、この移動しやすいことがかえって別の問題点を発生させることにもなりえる。即ち、筆記具を落とすなどして、衝撃が加わった場合など、筆記具に外力が付与される場合、インキタンク内の逆流防止体が後方に移動してしまうことがある。逆流防止体が急に後方に移動すると逆流防止体とインキタンク内壁との隙間を埋めている高粘度流体の膜が破れ、インキが洩れ出すことがあった。特にペン先を押圧することによりペン先と連動する弁を開放するタイプの筆記具ではペン先を上向きで使用する場合、弁を開放するとインキの重量が逆流防止体にかかることになりインキタンク後端からインキが洩れる可能性がある。更に、インキタンクやこれを収容する外装体等を透明な材料で形成している場合、日向に放置した場合などにインキタンク内の温度が上昇しやすく、インキタンク内の圧力を高めてしまい逆流防止体をペン先と逆方向に押し上げてしまうことも発生し得る。このようなインキの逆流が発生すると、前述の通り、逆流防止体の後方は外気と連通しているため外部に洩れ、手や服を汚してしまう可能性があるという問題があった。

【作用】
液体は基本的に広い空間には重力等の外力の作用がなければ移動せず、狭い空間では毛細管力により移動することがしられている。特に粘度が数〜数10cpsといった低粘度の液体では狭い空間における毛細管力の大きいほうにインキが移動する。よって、隙間空間に働き得る毛細管力よりも空気流通孔に働き得る毛細管力を小さくし、インキタンクよりインキが洩れ出したとしても、極力そのインキを空気流通孔から外に到達させないようにする。

【実施例】
以下、図面に基づき一例について説明する。
図1に示したものは、基本的には、内部に自由状態のインキ1を充填する内筒2を収容する外筒3と、この外筒3の先端に凹凸嵌合により固定され、内孔に繊維集束体からなるペン芯4を摺動自在に挿入するペン芯ホルダー5から構成されている。ペン芯ホルダー5の内孔には外力が付与されない通常の状態では閉塞しているスリット状インキ通路を有する弾性弁6が設置されており、ペン芯ホルダー5の後部に圧入固着される前記内筒2の内孔と接続されている。前後に摺動可能なペン芯4の後端は弾性弁6に当接してスリット状インキ通路を開放し得る。インキ消費に伴って内筒2内のインキ体積は減少するが、内筒2の内部にはインキ1との界面位置にポリブテンやα−オレフィンオイルなどの高粘度流体からなる逆流防止体組成物7及び逆流防止体組成物の比重よりも小さい素材からなる浮き栓8を配置しており、この逆流防止体組成物7及び浮き栓8は、インキ消費に伴うインキ減量によってインキ界面と共にペン芯4側に移動する。
