Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle bumper structure in a vehicle of a type in which a spare tire is installed on the outer surface side of a vehicle body above a vehicle bumper, and more specifically, contaminates a vehicle bumper portion immediately below the spare tire ( The present invention relates to a vehicular bumper structure for protecting against deep yellow pollution caused by sewage.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In RV (Recreational Vehicle) vehicles, etc., a spare tire is installed on the outer surface of the vehicle body in an exposed state above the bumper in order to improve the appearance of the vehicle body and to use the interior space of the vehicle for multiple purposes. There is. FIG. 8 shows a conventional bumper structure in this type of vehicle, in which a spare tire is provided at an upper portion of a bumper (rear bumper) 2 disposed at the rear portion of the vehicle body 1 and outside the rear surface portion 3 of the vehicle body 1. 4 is installed on the back surface portion 3 of the vehicle body 1 in a state where the spare tire 4 is exposed outside the vehicle.
[0003]
In the conventional bumper structure of this type, a spare tire is usually used so that the height position of the installation location of the spare tire 4 above the bumper 2 is made as low as possible so that the field of view on the vehicle rear side is as wide as possible. A spare tire housing recess 5 for housing a part of the lower end side of the installed spare tire 4 is formed at an upper portion of the bumper 2 corresponding to the installation location (see FIGS. 8 to 10).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Thus, in the type of vehicle in which the spare tire 4 is installed above the bumper 2, the water adhering to the spare tire 4 flows from the spare tire 4 to the spare tire accommodating recess 5 of the bumper 2 as shown in FIG. 10. When the sewage 6 is dropped on the surface S1 of the water, the sewage 6 flows along the surface S1 and the bottom surface S2 of the bumper 2 connected to the surface S1, so that the surface S1 and the bottom surface S2 are contaminated in dark yellow. (Discoloration) is generated, and a deep yellow discoloration portion 7 is generated, which may impair the surface of the bumper 2 and the appearance of the entire vehicle. Therefore, conventionally, various measures as described below are adopted as measures for preventing the bumper 2 from being contaminated, but the conventional measures are problematic in any case.
[0005]
That is, as one of the measures for preventing the contamination of the bumper 2, as shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, the part 2a directly below the spare tire of the bumper 2 indicated by the oblique line α and the both side parts 2b, 2c of the bumper 2 indicated by the oblique line β in FIG. A stain-resistant paint film (for example, a fluorine paint film) is formed by applying a highly stain-resistant paint only to the portion 2a immediately below the spare tire of the bumper 2. However, when such measures are taken, there is a problem that the anti-contamination effect lasts only for a short period of time at a high cost, so that it is not practical.
[0006]
Further, as another pollution prevention measure, a measure is taken such that a protective film is attached to the portion 2a immediately below the spare tire of the bumper 2. However, in the case of adopting such a measure, in addition to high cost, the curved surface 5a of the recess 5 for accommodating the spare tire of the bumper 2 that accommodates a portion of the lower end side of the spare tire 4 (FIGS. 8 and 8). 9) is actually difficult to perform the work of attaching the protective film. Furthermore, it takes a long time to apply the protective film, and the protective film may be peeled off from the portion 2a immediately below the spare tire after the application.
[0007]
Further, as another pollution prevention measure, only the portion 2a immediately below the spare tire of the bumper 2 is not painted, and the resin material is colored so that dark yellow is not noticeable, or the portion 2a immediately below the spare tire is colored. Black paint is applied. In the case of such measures, in order to paint differently, a masking operation (covering the unpainted part with a covering tape) is performed, and only the part to be painted is exposed and the paint is applied only to the part. There is a problem that work is required, and therefore workability is poor and the cost is increased.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of such various problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a bumper made of sewage dripping from a spare tire installed above the bumper while having a simple and inexpensive configuration. It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle bumper structure that can prevent dark yellow contamination on the surface.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention includes a vehicle bumper having a recess for accommodating a spare tire for accommodating a part of the lower end side of the spare tire at an upper portion, A protector that is attached to the spare tire housing recess and covers the upper surface of the spare tire housing recess of the vehicle bumper is disposed on the vehicle bumper, and the protector has a curved shape of a lower portion of the spare tire And a groove for guiding water from both side portions of the curved shape portion to a central portion located below the curved shape portion of the protector. A central portion of the curved shape portion of the protector including the lowermost end of the curved shape portion between the groove portions is smoothly continuous with a lower side end portion of the groove portion, and the spare unit Water dripping from the Ya so that draining from the central portion.
Further, in the present invention, the vertical wall portion of the vehicle bumper connected to the central hanging portion of the protector continuous from the central portion of the curved shape portion of the protector to the rear side of the vehicle body, and the spare tire accommodating recess of the vehicle bumper. Are spaced apart to form a gap therebetween.
Further, in the present invention, the hanging wall portion on the lower end side of the protector and the vertical wall portion of the bumper are disposed in a state where they are separated from each other over the entire range of the overlapping portions. A gap is provided.
Moreover, in this invention, the collar part for guiding water to the center part of the curved shape part of the said protector is provided in the lower end part of the drooping wall part of the said protector.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, the same parts as those in FIGS. 8 to 10 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description is omitted.
[0011]
FIG. 1 shows a rear part of an automobile equipped with a vehicle bumper structure according to a first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, a back door 10 is disposed on the rear surface of the vehicle body 1, and a bumper (rear bumper) 2 is disposed at a lower position of the back door 10. And it is comprised so that the spare tire 4 may be installed in the lower part of the back surface (back of vehicle body) 10a of the back door 10 and the bumper 2 above. Specifically, in a state where the spare tire 4 is installed, a part of the lower end side of the spare tire 4 is accommodated and disposed in the spare tire accommodating recess 5 provided in the upper part of the bumper 2. Yes.
[0012]
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a protector 11 for preventing contamination is attached to the recess 5 for accommodating the spare tire. The protector 11 is formed of a resin molded part integrally molded using a resin material having a color that does not cause dark yellow contamination, and as shown in FIG. 3, the curved surface of the spare tire housing recess 5 is formed. A curved shape portion 11a having a shape corresponding to 5a, a vertical wall portion 11b connected to an end portion of the curved shape portion 11a on the vehicle body front side, and an end portion on the vehicle body rear side of the curved shape portion 11a. And a suspended wall portion 11c. Further, the curved shape portion 11a is provided with a plurality of groove portions 12 that are recessed downward and extend substantially in the vehicle width direction along the curved shape portion 11a in the left and right regions of the lowermost center portion P. The central portion 13 including the lowermost central portion P between the left and right groove portions 12 has a curved surface as a part of the curved shape of the curved shape portion 11a. The central portion 13 of the protector 11 made of this curved surface is smoothly continued to the lower end portions of the plurality of groove portions 12.
[0013]
Further, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a substantially spherical recess is formed at a corner portion constituted by the central portion 13 and the hanging wall portion 11c of the protector 11 and corresponding to the lowermost central portion P. A recessed portion 14 is formed as a water discharge portion at the end of the drainage channel.
[0014]
Thus, the protector 11 is integrally attached to the bumper 2 by means of bolting, bonding or the like while being fitted in the spare tire housing recess 5 of the bumper 2 and placed on the upper surface of the bumper 2. It is like that. That is, the sewage 6 that is directly below the spare tire 4 installed on the outer surface side of the back door 10 of the vehicle body 1 above the bumper 2 and adheres to the spare tire 4 drops from the spare tire 4 to cause the bumper. The protector 11 is attached to the upper part of the bumper 2 at a position that covers the contaminated portion area that contaminates 2. In the state where the spare tire 4 is installed on the back door 10, as shown in FIG. 4, the side surface 4 a at the lower end of the spare tire 4 is partially arranged to correspond to the vertical wall portion 11 b of the protector 11. At the same time, the tread surface 4b of the lower portion of the spare tire 4 is set so as to partially correspond to the curved shape portion 11a of the protector 11.
[0015]
On the other hand, the hanging wall portion 11 c of the protector 11 is disposed corresponding to the vertical wall portion 2 d (see FIGS. 4 and 5) that is continuous with the spare tire housing recess 5 of the bumper 2. More specifically, both side portions R1 and R2 (see FIG. 3) of the central portion 13 of the hanging wall portion 11c of the protector 11 are disposed in contact with the vertical wall portion 2d of the bumper 2 as shown in FIG. In addition, the central hanging portion R3 corresponding to the central portion 13 , that is, the central hanging portion R3 ( see FIG. 3) of the protector 11 connected to the rear side of the vehicle body from the central portion 13 of the curved portion 11a of the protector 11 is shown in FIG. [0016]
According to the vehicular bumper structure having such a configuration, the protector 11 is attached to the spare tire accommodating recess 5 of the bumper 2 as described above, so that the dark yellow contamination of the bumper upper surface by the sewage 6 dripping from the spare tire 4 is achieved. Can be prevented. That is, the sewage 6 adhering to the spare tire 4 and dripped from the spare tire 4 onto the curved shape portion 11a of the protector 11 is taken into the plurality of groove portions 12 of the curved shape portion 11a and along these groove portions 12. Then, it is guided to the central portion 13 of the curved shape portion 11a, and then is guided to the recessed portion 14 of the central portion 13 and is drained (drained) from the recessed portion 14 toward the rear side of the bumper 2. At this time, since the gap 15 is provided between the central hanging portion R3 of the protector 11 and the vertical wall portion 2d of the bumper 2 as described above, the sewage 6 collected in the central portion 13 of the protector 11 is removed from the bumper 2. It will be discharged to the rear of the vehicle body without touching the vertical wall 2d. Therefore, it is possible to avoid the dirty water 6 from flowing on the surface of the bumper 2, and it is possible to prevent the dirty water 6 from causing dark yellow contamination on the surface of the bumper 2.
[0017]
Further, in the second embodiment of the present invention, the suspended wall 11c on the lower end side of the protector 11 and the vertical wall 2d of the bumper 2 are arranged in a state where they are separated from each other over the entire range of the overlapping portions. By doing so, a gap 15 as shown in FIG. 5 is provided between them. That is, the hanging wall portion 11c of the protector 11 is separated from the vertical wall portion 2d of the bumper 2 over the entire length in the vehicle width direction, and the gap 15 is provided therebetween.
[0018]
According to such a configuration, the sewage 6 that flows along the hanging wall portion 11c flows toward the rear side of the vehicle body without touching the vertical wall portion 2d of the bumper 2 in the entire region of the hanging wall portion 11c in the vehicle width direction. Therefore, the dark yellow contamination by the sewage 6 can be prevented as in the first embodiment described above. In this case, it is not necessary to provide the plurality of groove portions 12 shown in the first embodiment described above. Therefore, the protector 11 can be easily and inexpensively molded. In addition, it is also possible to provide a plurality of groove portions 12 as in the first embodiment described above, and in this way, the contact of the sewage 6 with the bumper 2 due to the synergistic effect due to the provision of the gap 15 is achieved. It can prevent more reliably and can prevent deep yellow contamination more reliably.
[0019]
In the third embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the sewage 6 is applied to the lower end portion of the hanging wall portion 11 c of the protector 11 toward the central portion 13 of the curved shape portion 11 a of the protector 11. A flange 16 for guiding is provided. And as shown in FIG. 7, the notch part 17 is provided in the center location of the vehicle width direction of the collar part 16 as a water discharge part of the terminal end of a drainage channel. Also in this case, it is not necessary to provide the plurality of groove portions 12 shown in the first embodiment, and thus the protector 11 can be easily and inexpensively molded. In addition, it is also possible to provide a plurality of grooves 12 as in the first embodiment described above, and in this way, contact of the sewage 6 with the bumper 2 due to a synergistic effect due to the provision of the flanges 16. Can be more reliably prevented, and the occurrence of dark yellow contamination can be more reliably prevented.

[0023]
Further, in the present invention as set forth in claim 1, the curved shape of the protector, so as to form a groove for guiding the water to the central portion which is located below it from both sides of the curved portion Therefore , the water dripped from the spare tire onto the curved shape part of the protector can be collected smoothly and surely at the central part of the curved shape part, that is, the lowermost part of the curved shape part. It becomes easy to drain in a direction not touching the vertical wall portion.
[0024]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a vertical wall of the vehicle bumper connected to the central hanging portion of the protector continuous from the central portion of the curved shape portion of the protector to the rear side of the vehicle body and the spare tire accommodating recess of the vehicle bumper. Since the gap is formed by separating the parts from each other, the presence of this gap makes the curved shape without contacting the water collected in the central part of the curved shape part of the protector with the bumper. It can drain from the central part of the part.
[0025]
Further, the present invention according to claim 3 is arranged by arranging the hanging wall portion on the lower end side of the protector and the vertical wall portion of the bumper in a state of being separated from each other over the entire range of the overlapping portion. Since there is a gap between them, the presence of the gap prevents the water that drops on the protector and flows to the hanging wall of the protector from coming into contact with the vertical wall of the bumper. It is possible to drain the water toward the surface, and it is possible to effectively prevent dark yellow contamination from occurring on the bumper surface. Therefore, it is not necessary to employ a configuration for collecting water by providing grooves as described above, and it is possible to use a protector with a simple shape and low cost.
[0026]
Further, the present invention according to claim 4 is provided with a collar portion for guiding water to the central portion of the curved shape portion of the protector at the lower end portion of the hanging wall portion of the protector. The water dripping onto the protector and flowing to the hanging wall portion of the protector is received by the hook portion and guided to a predetermined location, and it is possible to easily drain the water in a direction not touching the vertical wall portion of the bumper at that location. Thus, it is possible to effectively prevent dark yellow contamination from occurring on the bumper surface. Therefore, it is not necessary to employ a configuration for collecting water by providing grooves as described above, and it is possible to use a protector with a simple shape and low cost.
