【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来のケーブルの接続部を保護する収容体の架空クロージャでは、電柱の取付部材に備えたり、電柱に配線した架空ケーブルに備えて用いられるため、電柱周囲の障害物となり不体裁となって外観環境を悪くすると共に、地上高所作業によるケーブル引き込みが必要で、しかも保守、修理または取り外しなどの各作業も地上高所作業となって、装置類の取付けおよび配線接続の作業が容易でなく作業性が悪く安全性にも問題があるほか、架空クロージャは太陽、風雨などに晒されることとなるので、保護対策上の考慮にも環境上温度の条件や鳥害等の悪影響をも入れるとそれだけ取扱い煩雑となる傾向がある。また、クロージャの変形防止のために剛性を保ち、熱気、湿気の浸入を阻止しなければならないために、クロージャの各構成部分は互いに密に結合され、かつケーブルの固定化を十分満足させるためには特殊材を設けたものにすると、製作煩雑で高価となり耐久性の面や気密確保上締め付け力の管理や組立作業性の面でもいろいろ問題があった。
